A leaked CoroCoro scan has revealed the new Pokémon movie which will be released in Japan next summer. Titled “Cocoon of Destruction”, it seems to focus on Yveltal and Xerneas along with a host of Mega Evolved Pokémon.
More details will come as we get them 🙂

I’ve stopped watching Pokemon movies since the Temple of the Sea… I hope this one will be great, since the XY anime is doing so well. Ash might not be the greatest Pokemon trainer, but he is the luckiest, since he encountered most of the legendary Pokemon (…Could have captured some of them, but no….) He got to ride on the back of Lugia, that’s got to count for something.

If you haven’t watch Marriland’s speculation video, you should. Basically there won’t be a Hoenn remake, and there are clues. First, the guide said that there are berries that you can only get by transfer them from other regions. Now, Pokebank won’t allow held items. Second, the guy from the hotel said he came from a region that’s not Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, or Unova.
I watched his video. But I still think it’ll happen. Maybe there are new unobtainable berries in Hoenn. Yes, that guy from the hotel is from, what I like to call, “Region 7”. He could just be hinting a new region after Hoenn.
Don’t get me wrong. I’d love a Hoenn remake, since I didn’t play the original R/S/E (started at Pearl, went aback to FireRed after, and onward from there). So I would love to explore Hoenn in a new and improved 3D graphic. Quick! Use Geass on GameFreak!
Sadly I can’t, I used my Geass to force them to upgrade my beloved Mawile (took them long enough). It didn’t get an evolution, but it got something even better…a Megalution!!!

Hmm. I was on PS, and tried out my PJ team, and my gods did it suck. So walled by dat Tentacruel/ Gliscor core. Venusaur really didn’t do good at all, and Joy was OHKO’d BY M. Luc. The Only one who did good was Rusalka, and maybe Skjoldr.

Nope. when i was on PS, i ran the terrible Seismic Toss/Toxic/Shadow Ball/ Soft Boiled. I ran Shadow ball for everything immune to Seismic, and the serene grace sp def drop was nearly non existant.

Your Venu, Jordin’s Chansey, TC’s Chespin, Umbreon Lifts wartortle, and carbinkle’s Smoochum. i havent’t decided on a sixth pokemon, but Pyroar and Zebstrika came to mind
Blastoise and Jynx should threaten Gliscor out. Umbreon seems really odd here. Because you are compounding fighting weakness with Chansey and bug with Jynx. Pyroar is a better choice.
Umm, did you think i said Umbreon as a pokemon of my team? Cause I’m having a hard time understanding this response, sorry. But my team in the end will be Blissey/Venusaur/Blastoise/Chesnaught/Jynx/????? I thought of Zebstrika because i like it, but Pyroar is an absolute Aegislash counter, which is why i mentioned it
Oh! Woops, I read it completely wrong xD. Yeah Pyroar is a excellent choice. A team with fire/water/grass has a good time switching easier. Pyroar you can try with Scarf to kill Lucario.
Scarf? I normally run Return/Noble Roar/Dark Pulse/Flamethrower on Naive Moxie Pyroar with an Expert Belt. I’m not the biggest fan of Choice items, especially if my opponent has a switch in. i hate having to switch out, as the opponent gets a free hit/ set up turn/ status move. So, Scarves, Bands, and Specs aren’t my favorite thing
In that case I would go with Taunt/Substitute over Return. But remember, with defensive teams, you have to switch out often. Venusaur can’t wall everything, the ones it has trouble with Blissey handles better, and vise versa.
Yeah. Sub works nice instead, and it allows me to run timid and unnerve instead. Maybe i will go for the Pyroar. BUt breeding the Pyroar will be a pain -.-. Must finish the rest of Team PJ, and then go Litleo breeding. Thanks a lot for your help Regi, i appreciate it!

I can’t be sure if that would fit… Kyurem did it as he was the last true embodiment of what Zekrom and Reshiram used to be… Zygarde is just the watcher of all things, somewhat like Arceus. But, we just have to wait and see for Z or X2/Y2 😀

Aww man you have missed out on some good ones- Heroes, Lucario and the Mystery of Mew and Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea being highlights. The DP trilogy (not including the Zoroark movie) was decent also but ill admit the ones after that have been pretty mediocre. But i would definitely give some more a watch as some are really really good.

I wouldn’t have minded it so much if they had just explained why there needed to be another one to begin with.
If they explain that in this movie, that will (slightly) make up for it. I liked the movie honestly, but it could have been better without that mental distraction.
I went through the Five Stages of Grief when I found out that there was another Mewtwo. Took me a while, but I understand how there can be another Mewtwo (scientists share/discover information from other scientists). I too was distracted by the “Why” part.

Yeah, that’s my biggest concern if I try out a Tyranitar: the sand. While it can be helpful, it could really mess with the way I like to play my team during certain situations
I think avalugg is a better bulky rapid spinner, i’d only use torkoal in a sun team

I’m breeding some Larvitar right now for some people, and I was thinking maybe I’ll breed one for myself. I was thinking max HP/Def with Assault Vest for SpDef. I haven’t used my Torkoal a lot. Offensive physical wall, yes. Torkoal has been doing a good job and should be better now that I got him all of his moves, but I’m always thinking of new Pokes to use

There’s a ton of options for him, but remember you need team support. Tyranitar is very easily exploitable, because it’s so common, people know how to counter him very easily. Tyranitar can be really amazing or dead weight depending on your team support.
True. I do have Pokes who can be switched in to take a Close Combat or any fighting type move for that matter. Sylveon can take pretty much any Special attack. I don’t know. I’m still playing around with the last two spots on my team, so I’m always seeing what could work and testing it all out
There’s probably 5~6 possible sets you can try to see which one blend in your team better. Leftovers Careful/Sassy Support, Choice Scarf Revenger, Choice Band Breaker, Tyranitarite Dragon Dance, Tyranitarite Support, Assault Vest. Tyranitar is so versatile, that’s what makes him good.
My first thought was the Assault Vest. Max HP/Def with Assault Vest. Stealth Rock, Pursuit, Stone Edge, Fire Blast/Roar
You can’t use Roar + Stealth Rock with Assualt Vest sadly 🙁

Yup try it! I’ve tried vest and lefties with my team but found that it didn’t blend with my team too well. But maybe Vest will work better for your team! xD

Wide Lens increases accuracy that’s true but in my eyes 80% accuracy and 88% accuracy still feels like 60% accuracy XD. you can opt to not run Fire Blast if your team has something to handle Ferrothorn.
Yeah. you’re right. Probably the biggest reason I’ve stayed away from TTar for so long. I hate those two moves and he normally has to carry at least one. I can handle Ferrothorns pretty easy, albeit it I most likely get some Iron Barbs damage, but that’s okay. Well, thank you, Regi! You’re always so helpful with this stuff. I’ll let you know what the end result ends up being!

Good luck doing that! I went through over 80 eggs trying to get an adamant starly without having a pokemon breed with it holding an everstone. Do you have any pokemon with synchronize? If so there is a 50 percent change that you will encounter a pokemon with the same nature as the synchronizer.

Personally I just keep up to date with the important stuff like gym battles and the league. And mainly just to see how well they do the animations. Sometimes, its good, sometimes not so good…everyone is entitled to their own opinion

So many unanswered questions :O That Strange Souvenir, this new region, the Lava Dome Pokemon in Juane Plaze, the locked Power Plants, the Ghost Girl in Lumiose, the Waterfall that flows backwards somewhere in this world, the Palace’s backyards where we can recognize 3 of the hedges as Pokemon…but that upper left hedge is a mystery, the faceless men ghost story, etc.
It definitely is still tedious, eggs galore xD But definitely a lot easier that it’s possible to breed perfect Pokemon in a couple hours. Still a long time though xD

Going into this comments section reminds me of why I never go on PokeJungle anymore: every single comments section is bogged down with unrelated nonsense. This is honestly extremely obnoxious. Sorry, but I don’t think I’ll be coming here anymore if this isn’t sorted out. I don’t want to have to wade through umpteen “who wants my shiny Adamant whatever” comments just to actually get to the discussion of the article.

I do understand what you mean, but if you get 200 Pokemon fans together and tell them to talk about something, do you seriously think they’re only going to talk about, for instance; How useful Sunny Day is in battle? Yes, a lot of this does belong in the chat, but seriously, you expect us to stay completely on-topic? If you’re going to leave, then fine. I do try not to do irrelevant comments too much, and I know I’m not the only one.
This is just how PokeJungle functions now, I guess. People are welcome to post anything anywhere ad infinitum with no regard for topicality. I’m not saying that’s bad, necessarily, but I can’t sit through it. I find it too annoying.
It’s conversation. People here are like a community and enjoy conversing with one another. And X/Y has added a huge topic of discussion with battles, trades, etc. I understand the issue of staying on topic, but there’s only so much one topic can be discussed. Usually clicking on “Oldest” will enable you to see early meaningful replies to the given article…usually
I’m all for conversation, but this has gone from “conversing” to “babbling.” It’s not just that people aren’t talking about the article; it’s that they’re talking about anything, usually a ton of things, and they’re all unrelated to each other. It makes the comments look schizophrenic and disjointed. And like I said, it’s not that it’s an inherently wrong way to run things. I’m just disappointed that this site is more muddled than it used to be.
There’s only so much we can talk about with each article.

It’s really up to you…depends on the Pokemon and what you want from it. Stone Edge is obviously more powerful, But lacks accuracy and PP.
Rock Slide is weaker but has a higher accuracy and a chance to flinch.

If it is Crustle, I believe it is not fast enough to take advantage of the flinch rate from Rock Slide, and you want it to hit as hard as possible after taking a hit…so maybe Stone Edge would be better, but I’m no expert

I chose Stone Edge for defensive pokemon, because a single miss don’t cause you to lose your pokemon to one hit. For offensive but frail pokemon, I really don’t know….I don’t use them much.

As someone who can’t stand pikachu, I want to throw my two cents in: I don’t hate it because it’s popular, exactly, I hate it because it’s been shoved down the fandom’s throat from the beginning. Every generation, it’s Pikachu + starters + legends, and the rest of the pokemon are generally shoved to the sideline when it comes to marketing. I get that it’s the mascot, but after being around since RBY, I’m just tired of looking at it.
I don’t understand the point of hating Pikachu. Personally I’m just neutral. I like many Pokemon more than I like Pikachu, but I don’t hate Pikachu. It’s just another Pokemon at the end of the day

I agree that there are a lot of things that the anime could have done/could do better, but I honestly don’t see this as a viable option. If it were the anime would have ended a long time ago. Just my opinion on the matter.
Yes they can make Ash more competent, give him better pokemon, make them evolve, do amazing animation (I still have hope for this ), in some of the important battles, introduce interesting plot twists, bring back recurring characters e.t.c, but having Ash walking around just outright beating everyone he comes across….would this not get boring after a while?
Well one cool thing they did add in the XY anime was the animation they put before each important battle e.g. Ash v.s. Viola.
I really like that myself. Pretty cool, and a reference to the games. Very nice. Now all I really want is for the important battle (gyms/rivals/league) to have really good animations.
The first gym was good for the first gym, I hope they work on the animation and choreography (don’t know if this is the right word, but I’m referring to how the gym battle plays out) for future battles

its not the hacked pokes. Someone made a program that shows you your opponents next attack, team, abilities, movesets etc, allowing you to predict and cheat the match pretty much. This was done on rank battles so nintendo currently closed down the rank battles to block that program.
Still technically hacking, but people come on. Why make something like that?
I honestly don’t understand how anyone can use such a program. Why win every single time? What fun are you getting out of that?
You know what be cool? if we got a R/S/Emerald remake, AND sequels, along with a Z game. Then a third Shadow Pokemon game. And then a Mystery Dungeon and Ranger game. Then one final game centering around AZ called Pokemon AZ. 😀

like someone here said, I believe Z will be called Zero (still has a Z lol), and will be a prequel to Kalos, 3000 years ago. And possibly add another 40-50 or so pokemon, with the ability to go to a dated kalos region along with its neighboring region (making 16 badges). And then give us RS remakes.

And to answer my own question, I want a final boss that tests your skills. In terms of how they play out, I want ones that set up the game’s story, and provides a nice twist and complements the game style. And the difficulty needs to be high to truly test how good you are. The final boss’s theme also has to really complement it as well. So what’s the deal?
You set it up and the program becomes the Internet Hotspot. You connect to it via 3DS, so when you “show” a Pokemon on a trade, it displays all stats, IVs, EVs, nature, shiny value, moves, etc. Most use it for shiny hatching, or people like me who use it to see non-perfect IVs

People used it to find their Shiny Value, made a huge database with a lot of people with their Shiny Value, and then they would contact each other to hatch their eggs. Others, like myself, just used it to check IVs on newly hatched eggs

The concept is basically that an egg can be shiny or not depending on who hatches it, the Trainer ID and Secret ID.
Then I am unaffected. I found 28 shiny Pokemon in Friend Safaris, and 5 through hatching. 🙂

I have a few tricks:
1. Have No Guard Honedge as your leader that hold Smoke Ball, this will increase wild encounter to 150%.
2. Go to the safari with your targeted shiny Pokemon.
3. Run around like no tomorrow, you don’t have to pay full attention, just check if it’s shiny or not, if not run.
4. Have patience. This is the most essential factor.
5. The universe will give up being a jerk to you eventually.
I only found 4 shinies in Safari within the span of 2 months
i only found two lol when looking for a sap sipper girafarig i found a shiny grumpig and my first encounter was a shiny phanphy today when i was starting to shiny hunt a nincada lol
