A new patch has just (well, ‘just’) gone live, fixing several things for Pokémon X and Y. You can download it on the eShop now and it is required if you want to do online. The change log is as follows:
Patch 1.2
- Fixes an occasional bug causing Pokémon not to learn new moves after evolving through Wonder Trade.
- Fixes an occasional bug where certain captions for Trainer PR Videos were not unlocked in Lumiose City.
- Updates an Internet communication issue.
What Internet communication issue are they talking about? Well, it fixes the data snooping, essentially killing both Battle Analyser and Instacheck. If you didn’t know about them, Battle Analyser allowed you to see your opponents move sets and even the move they selected that turn before you selected yours. Instacheck allowed you to see the Shiny Values of your Pokémon, essentially making you put some effort into shiny hunting again. So for all those cheaters out there: too bad!
It’s currently unknown if the update will stand the test of time but we know for sure Gamefreak is doing all they can to ban ‘illegitimate’ practices. Now we only have to wait for the patch that fixes the barren endgame.

Sugi finally gave us some good art for Pokemon.
I like Barbaracle… It’s just kinda creepy.
It shut everyone up about Binacle, that’s for sure.
In glad. The poor thing received so much hatred.
Binacle is pretty cool when you think about it too…
regi!
yes?
xD Are you busy?
Nope, surprisingly I just got online right now….what a coincidence xD
Every time somebody calls you xD
Would you mind nicknaming Prankster for me? 🙂
sure send me the prankster
Let me go online now 😀 Thanks!
Name her “Hurrn” please :3
Sure xD
Thanks again! 😀
np xD
… Is it a sableye?:3
Maybe :3
@defensivebastiodon http://static2.fjcdn.com/comments/And+then+there+s+Castform+_4f58d76b3f782ebbb9b726ab64468661.jpg To go along with what you were saying
Is @john hocker here?
Is mawile that good? I’ve seen it used before a lot, as it got an amazing mega, but other than its mega, does it have any value?
is mega banette that good?
Yes it is. With Protect, and Destiny Bond.
Debating what mega to use . . . .either absol, mawile, or banette/
Oh that is tough.. Banette to annoy you, Absol to pummel, and Mawile to DESTROY
Leaning towards mawile yeah.
Absol has a better movepool to use, so I’d lean slightly over to it over Mawile.
Mawile is the greatest Megalution if it’s not facing…Caineghis
😀
D:
Is that a new castform form
regi’s Arcanine…*shudders*
Don’t forget your Shea xD
Shea is Lv 100 now ^_^
:OOOOOOO, already!
Yup! xD Today I got to school around 1:00 for my first Final. Finished it, then had to wait until 5:00 for my last Final. So rather than study, I trained up Scorpio, Sirius, Hurrn, Shea to Lv 100. And Flying Eggy is Lv 99. Infernus is Lv 75.
I have yet to face those the other two yet xD
You won’t face Infernus until my sun team is complete ;P
My offensive team is in progress, but I took a break and am breeding slowpoke now 😀
The new and improved Slowbro :O
Yup xD. I’ll make Gallade, Bisharp 😀
Even Flygon? 😀
Yup, then I’ll battle you with the old team. But I’ll replace Volke with someone else xD
I decided I’m gonna be breeding a new Flygon. A perfect Flygon to pair with my Shiny Flygon 😀 I’m going for Jolly nature, want me to breed you one?
Sure! Jolly is fine 😀 I’ll keep a spare slowpoke if I find a good one!
Okey Dokey! And thanks 😀
And in seconds I just got a 5 IV one xD. Lets see if i have any extra
xD Congrats!
Yup female and regenerator, I try for an extra xD
Or you could just let me borrow the parents if you don’t wanna breed 🙂
I have two 5 IV parents, shouldn’t take too long. You don’t mind if I give you the female one at a higher level, right?
Oh not at all! ^_^ Thank you!
Alright, I’ll send you the request as soon as I get a second one xD
Awesome! 😀
you mean like this?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrocEmhLsJk
Hmm, I was leaning towards mawile, but now that I think about it, absol is my 3rd fav pokemon ever, and still need to make a competitive one. Its name will be Pandora. Mawile name: . . . . .. . . . . .. No-flaw-wile!
It gets Prankster, which is a great ability, along with Will o Wisp, Thunderwave and Taunt. It also has Sucker Punch and Shadow Sneak, in addition to 165 Base Attack, so I say yes!
banette is excellent, priority spite is awesome
Well these are the scariest fakemon ever. but they’re good http://31.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4e4wacVMa1r1phbfo1_500.png
Really like the mothman Idea
I wish it had hands….
according to sightings, mothman was only like a winged torso
Friday needs to arrive faster.
SO. MUCH, DAMN. WORK.
Lol just listen from 1:52-1:58 XD You’ll know what I’m talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snZcn3Qt1xI
who is the best spite user? i believe its dusknoir and tyranitar
@defensivebastiodon:disqus I’ve been trying to get a picture of the kitten for you, but keep getting interrupted.. So, can you wait a little bit?
I just saw regis nickname for his arcanine and this is all I can think about…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8We9z4Jv-8c
That song is quite representative of what happens when someone faces him xD (Mega Mawile in particular)
Doggie Grindcore XD
I actually nicknamed my houndoom caninus
How do I know of this stuff? XD
Hurrn’s first Wi-Fi battle :’)
Chandelure eh 😉
Yup, that’s who I’m battling 🙂 Hurrn did her job. Burned Weavile to allow Robin to set up. Sweep incoming :’)
Use him against Genghis Khan xD
With pleasure xD
Hurrn?
My Prankster 🙂
That Will-o-Wisp fugged me hard… ;-;
GG by the way XD
GG 🙂
Wanna rematch, maybe? I have the wrong Pokes on my team XD
Maybe tomorrow 🙂 I wanna go train for now xD
Alright, good luck on your training! 😀
Thank you! 😀
Is hurnn a banette or a sableye?
Banette *winkwink*
Whimiscott.
No es not.
Gotta start working on my tourney team now! See ya!
good luck:D
Thanks. 😀
Live long and pros-whatever
I have no idea . . .whatever. See ya!
any good place to gain exp fast that is not the battle maison:p
Restaurant Le Wow Triple Battles, EXP. Power 3, Lucky Egg.
are the pokemon there low leveled?
63.
._. my gabite is only lv 26 and my ninjask is only lvl 33
Use Exp. All for now at Le Wow 😛 They’ll still level up fairly quickly.
I just grind on Audino and Chansey. But Le Wow is another option
ewwww
Yes Evan I GRIND on them XD
XD yeah I use the maison for audino all of the time. I just got to make sure that my pokemon are already fully EV trained
Friend Safari Audino and Chansey
Another day for re filling boxes xD
may i ask what are you breeding and for what purpose:p?
🙂 I’m taking a break from swinub so I can breed for a couple of people but they may or may not be around its a Christmas present XD so I cant say at the moment sorry ^.^
Tomorrow’s my last day of School!!!!!!!!
Lucky. I get off Friday.
and all i have to do is take my Algebra Final (Which I know i’ll fail) and hand in my Research Paper!
…lucky
Is it out forever :p lol xD
we cant even think of a word that rhymes…
So in the end. . . mawile or absol? Take your pick. Reply and whoever gets more in the time I can take a shower, they win. Go!
mawile by far
Its strongest. Not favorite.
Hmm I pretty much hate battling them both, but Mawiles are a bulky threat
Absol’s my favorite pokemon ever but Megawile is overall the better pick
Mawile
Goodnight everyone! 😀
nighty night
Night bro
Night ^.^
Night!
Goodnight!
Goodnite! The last mega stone, for my adamant good! See ya! Night!
Thanks regi! Didn’t know what to trade xD But I’m working on the Trapinch, hopefully by tomorrow or Thusday 🙂
Awesome thanks! xD But is that what I think it is :O
Nope 🙁 Just a leftover 🙁
Ah no worries xD
But I did get another perfect one with Rough Skin if you’d like to exchange the Sand Veil one I traded you the other day? 😀
Oh sure! xD
Was holding on to it for someone else, but they’ve never made mention of it since, so I’ll just trade them the Sand Veil one if they bring up the Gible xD
Ok! Hope they don’t mind xD But thanks again! 😀
They never specified an ability xD So now they’re getting Sand Veil 😛
TC you must be popular just watching the votes go haywire xD
That was me, I am sorry 🙁
Oh dont worry I’m not upset it just been awhile since I seen that lol ^.^ and I dont think TC cares but have to ask him 🙂
It doesn’t bother me at all xD
It was just interesting, if you go back in forth between upvote and downvote it starts showing all these crazy numbers like -1 down votes XD but don’t worry I ended with an up vote!
Hey, thanks for the land shark! I don’t mean to sound needy or anything, and it’s totally fine if you don’t want to, but if you actually have a male named “sharknado,” I might wanna swap. Sorry, it’s just a thing.
What do you guys want to be revealed in tomorrow’s direct?
nothing
umm ya I’m fine nothing
I’m hoping that they announce that SSB is releasing in the Spring and some news about that 😛
I have no idea what that is ._.
