A few weeks back we revealed our plans to launch a network wide tournament, mainly taking place on PokéJungle.net. We asked our readers to complete a quick survey regarding competitive battling and their skills and opinions on how we should hold our tournament.
Today we are pleased to announce that the tournament will begin in the coming weeks once all preparations are complete. However, we can’t start a tournament without competitors! As such we’re proud to open sign-ups for our tournament. The sign-up period will last for approximately 72 hours, after which we will close the submission platform, sort entrees and contact any unsuccessful sign-ups. Official tournament rules will be released in the coming days alongside finalised battle formats and more, so please stay tuned!
It is important that if you wish to take part, you fill the form below with correct information. If we believe the information you have provided is incorrect we will sadly have to disqualify you from the tournament. If you wish to back out of the tournament after signing up we will provide a form later for you to fill out, it’s likely back outs will have to count as a forfeit. As always if you have and questions of queries please feel free to contact us or chat with us in the comments or site chat!
Keep a look out for a cool new site theme soon!
Sign-ups are now closed, look out for a new post soon!
Don’t forget to Like us on Facebook, Follow us on Twitter, register on our forums, and take part in some great discussion with other Pokémon fans! Please remember to follow our Community Guidelines too, we don’t want anyone getting in trouble for misbehaving!
I renamed my shiny goomy Marshmallow because its color scheme makes me think of those pastel colored, twisted marshmallows :3 (refresh for yum)
http://mamamoderne.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/marshmallows01.png
Marshmallow and Bubble Gum XD
LOL goodra is just such a sweet pokemon. it makes me think of lots of sweets D:
I never cared for those actually.
i’m honestly not a big fan of marshmallows either [sweets/pastries in general..sorry ;-; i dont have that much of a sweet tooth] but oddly they still look delicious/nice even if i dont eat them XD
Same…I’m not a sweets person either :/
I agree with you on that. I don’t normally have a sweet tooth, but every now and then I crave something. I’m not a big fan of marshmallows unless they’re on s
*smores. Something about the powdery texture turns me off.
Yeah Im more of a fruit person
I’m picky about fruit. Lol. XD
Oh bastiodon, youre just bananas!
He likes bananas too. Huehuehuehue
MUST….RESIST….SWEET TOOTH…
LOL
SHINY GOOMY?!?
So lucky. So jelly. :3
i love that when you just leave super training on, the pokemon find lots and lots of large punching bags. XD
regi, we need to Metronome later, today we will find Sacred Fire!
yup! but we need to find John or anyone with a togepi with metronome
YES! xD
If not we could do a triple battle with 3 metronome users :O
!!!!!!!!
I think I might have some spare clefairies left
I can use Heart Scales on two Togetic xD
How do you feel about Low Sweep on Chesnaught?
too weak! Can’t KO TTar or Exca, and then they will switch
Dangit. Every time I think of Fighting type moves for Chesnaught, I see Hammer Arm, Brick Break, and then cry when I remember there’s no Drain Punch ;_;
Despite the speed drop, most of the time you will find you self using spikes/synthesis. Hammer Arm rarely. But even if you KO someone with a fighting move. They will bring out a mon that will force you to switch anyways!
Oh there is one move that I would reccomend that I haven’t tried. Taunt. This is really good against Ferrothorn/Ttar or any slow pokemon with spikes/stealth rock/status moves!
And they can’t do anything to Chesnaught defensively :O
Yup! I was thinking of trying it myself! Chesnaught hates toxic/Will-o-wisp. And it has just enough speed to use it!
So Hammer Arm, Taunt, Spikes, and Synthesis? 😀
Yup! Haven’t tried that one! But looks pretty solid!
I’m gonna try it with Shiny 😉
With Wailord?
Like a Multi Battle of Togepi?!
YES!!! but only metronome!
I have 34 Togepi/Togetic with Metronome. I can do this!
YES 😀 Me, regi, you, and Jordin 😀 All Metronome, hold the Leppa Berry. And an Aromatherapy Pokemon on each team xD
I think we need just one aromatherpy user on each side! I have one.
If only Togepi could learn it
That’s what I meant xD And you’re on my team. We must team up the Eggys!!!
I am so game
Tweet tweet. :3
Why must I be wise enough to not let myself not play on my 3DS during the weekdays ;_______;
It’s good you have that kind of self control.
Changing my name to Dicie because that’s what I put for my application for the Winter Tournament. Might be changed to Pikadenne in 2014. 😀
If anyone would like to suggest a name change for me, please do so. Or anything else you need from me.
Just checked my Excadrill IVs. 31 in both Attack and Speed!
Congrats! The two IV’s I always want perfect for my Pokemon. Unfortunately for my Shiny Dedenne, speed is great, attack, not so much. Dedenne, despite being cute, has a pretty horrible moveset.
Nuzzles still a pain in the butt though, so it has that
True. I learned Nuzzle was unaffective (paralysis) on other Electric-types. When I heard it always paralyzes but it didn’t this time I was like “WTF?!?!?!?!?!” XD
I have one that’s special set trained. Nuzzle, Charge Beam, Volt Switch and I can’t remember the last. It’s decent.
My Togekiss Has perfect IVs in HP,Sp A, and Sp D!
Good job! Keep at it for more perfect IVs!
He’s got Serene Grace
for moves it has Thunder Wave, Air Slash, Nasty Plot and Dazzling Gleam.
Replace Nasty plot with ancient power.
Ive already trained him up so much and the Nasty plot has proven to be an absolute force of destuction
I like that move set a lot actually
That’s sunnysides except not nasty, an. power.
Its helped me so freaking much
Nice! Mine is gonna have Thunder Wave, Air Slash, Wish, and Dazzling Gleam. When we get access to Tutors, Dazzling will be replaced with Heal Bell.
Mine holds a Sitirus berry to deal with lost hp
Does someone else on your team have Leftovers?
No im still looking for it
It’s on that Route with the Skiddo Ranch. Need Cut.
Anyone wanna have a metronome battle on showdown?
Does anyone think its still good to watch the pokemon anime nowadays, cause I’m pretty sure Ash will lose the Kalos pokemon league, go to a new region, and still remain 10, plus I would prefer to see something like pokemon origins and thats beats everything on the anime we have now
Believe me, the origins is probably 90% better than the anime junk we get today.
Amen on this.
Wow 2 upvotes, and on just stating a fact?
But if Togepi said it, it must be good.
Togepi: It’s all good ya kno?
I dont even watch any anime and I agree!
I agree origins is more canon to the games
I think I rather have the luck I do IV breeding than have luck with finding shinies
I made you my official teacher and idol.
Thank you. I’m flattered. I’m just saying though because I’m making a Sylveon. I started with an Eevee with Calm nature and NO perfect IVs and after six batches, I have a female Calm with perfect IVs except for Defense. All that’s left is to breed with my Mawile for some Defense
WOW Congrats!
Thank you, thank you! I was so shocked! It was a gift to even get a female Eevee egg, let alone one like that. I just wanted one with HP, SP ATK, and SPEED
Nice!
Agreed
same o.o; especially since it only takes me like 2-3 hours to get 5 IVs usually.
Well, you got the best of both worlds with that Goomy!
trust me … that definitely had to be luck X__X ive tried all the ways people said to get shinies and it never happened D; and i wasnt even lucky as a kid to randomly run into one in the wild. but if my luck with regular breeding really helps with getting shinies…. -tests it out LOL-
Get ALL the shinies!
I don’t agree, it’s taking me days for a perfect skiddo, and I still haven’t got it.
dang D: ..
Well, how are you approaching it? That’s key
I’m breeding a perfect Atk, Spe, and Sp.def skiddo with a perfect HP and sp.atk quilidan.
Just make sure any time you get a better Skiddo (4 IVs), you replace the current Skiddo in the day care, and once you get two 4 IV Skiddos, for example, one with HP, ATK, SP DEF, and SPEED and one with ATK, SP ATK, SP DEF, and SPEED), breed those and completely forget about Quillidan.
Always gotta make sure you’re replacing better IV guys constantly
@ZiiaChan:disqus I am seriously considering giving you my Shiny Dedenne for your Shiny Goomy.
sorry ^^; but i plan to use it in competitive battling.. i like goomy a lot and i was lucky enough to get 5 IVs on it @.@
WOW. I was jking nonetheless. I know how special Shiny Goomy is. **** Heavymetallamb for promising me one and giving it away. ;(
He was doing a “first reply gets it” thing and I got a electrode, but he wanted to give it to someone who doesn’t have shinys, but he ended up giving it to SHINY lickitung.
I have a few words to describe that guy. However, they’re not exactly appropriate for a kid-friendly site. Hell, we’re never really kid friendly at all. #ChatShenanigans. :3
Hai Dicie. :3
Yo Dice Loving the new Avatar, Props to Jordin
The only anime I’ve been watching is Naruto Shipudden, soon I’m going to start watching Bleach
Dude I have an anime that’s so effing stupid but its insanely funny!
What’s you fav move?
Either Earthquake or Drill Run
but my fav Fighting describes me perfectly Hammer Arm!!!
Metronome.
swords dance and stone edge
Moonblast
Stone Edge
Animation? Moonblast.
Fav move? Blaze Kick. Fav animation? Close Combat so far
I have a Shiny Manectric
Congrats.
Air Balloon Tyranitar and Sand Rush Excadrill destroy in double battles!
Hey has anyone ever seen (or heard) of Bobobo-Bo-Bo-Bo-Bobobo?
Thats the nosehair thing right?
Yes!
my friends were obsessed with that show when we were like nine years old. really weird show
I’m weird
yet that show has always intrigued me for some reason.
Yellow afro and he can make hair come out of his nose for his kung fu?
The show that taught me how to be a heroic yet friendly sociopath nutjob who can do Literally anything
It was a very interesting show
I loved it so much
never have
watch this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESi8p-F_b1k
Now I understand
He’s what you would call
“A WILD CHALLENGER”
I used to watch that when i was like 7. It was so good!
The show that taught me everything about fighting!
Oh my god YES!
Anyone heard this http://youtu.be/lmC8aMzrzRw
all you ever post is Nightcore…
Not always but to me it sounds amazing
Nightcore is the exact opposite to my music
Is it because it doesn’t sound like the original
No is just, you know, not METAL enough
like this http://youtu.be/xBcDHQONtxk
No. Dragonforce really feels devoid of passion. Power metal as a whole seems over saturated
like this http://youtu.be/xBcDHQONtxk
tried it out… yeah, not my cup of tea
heres some stuff I like! Try it out!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03WoO5WpckE
Guys, all them megas base stats are raised by 100, except alakazam, only raised by 90.
Mega Togepi. O.O
Mega Togekiss
Togepi. I meant it because of his avatar.
Mega Topegi
Every base stat boosted by 100
Ability: Metronate – Any time Metronome is used, it results in a move with at least base 100 Power
Fairy
I’m filled with Bobobo hype/stupidity!

Bobobo’s sense of friendship on the battlefield!

Oh kay
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDKFAGLFGIU

Well it is Japanese Slapstick
Slapstick? now Im really interested!
Just go to youtube and type in Bobobo episode 32 and be amazed/weirded/and inspired!
*sigh* It’s like 8:30 for me and its snowing a lot, but they haven’t called off school yet. 🙁
Pray to mythical snow yeti in the sky!

I hate Mississippi. It was 82 degrees today… It felt like Destin beaches in the spring. ;-;
It’s about 0 degrees in CA’s mountains right now XD
One of my best friends moved to Wyoming, a town/city in the mountains, it was -3 degrees a couple of days ago.
Jeez… The very top of them you can’t even see, it’s that cold and cloudy.
Wait… Cali has mountains?
I live in a valley..
Ooh! Does it flood?!
We get flood warnings, but nothing like that. There has been a really bad fire where we had to evacuate. I was 2 when it happened XD
Ooh. I bet that was hot. I have family in Cali. I would love to go sometime. I’ve heard it’s great but can be a little… Crazy…
It’s one of the few places in the world where you can go to the beach and the mountains in the same day and state.
Good night guys! heres some soothing music i guess…
