It has been recently discovered that if you now buy copies of Pokémon X & Y at a Walmart in the states, they will contain special serial codes. If you buy Pokemon X you’ll get a serial code to download a special Garchomp; if you get Y you’ll get one for a special Scizor. Both of these serial codes are one-time use only.
The details of these event Pokemon as well as how long this promotion lasts hasn’t been announced yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you guys updated!

Hmm good question, I did some calcs, and Mega Mawile does 50% more damage with just huge power than sheer force + life orb. xD

I noticed while simultaneously playing Emerald (along with Y), that in Mauville’s Bike Shop, the owner lets us choose Mach Bike or Acro Bike. In Cyllage City in XY, the owner lets us choose Yellow or Green bike. In Mauville’s shelf display, there are yellow & green bikes. Cool little tidbit I just noticed.

I haven’t gotten over 5th gen pokes being pretty much disposable in XY. This is just baffling me. I’m gonna have to be doing some hardcore breeding when Bank comes out.

all 5th gen pokemon, even legit ones, will not have the pentagon shape in their summary when you trade them to XY – meaning that you can’t use them on random matchup or for online tournies.
Thus killing off the hackers!! Thats a good thing, but now means if you want to use something like a shiny typhlosion you would have to transfer a 5th gen cyndaquil family member and breed them again. Only Kalosian pokemon get the pentagon
this also means shiny legends don’t exist anymore. legally.

well TC this is what I was thinking. It shouldn’t be so hard afterall. If Shiny Charm is in game once we complete dex, what you could do is, transfer a japanese flawless IV ditto from 5th gen to 6th gen.
That way you can use it to breed for shinies all over again.

So, after multiple uses of it, I can safely say that I find Mega Scizor disappointing. it’s bulk isn’t As good as i thought it would be. And it’s offense is lackluster compared to Lucario. Which is odd, but true. I have done better with Mega Aerodactyl, and Mega Manectric. Anyone else disappointed with Mega Scizor?

My Mega Scizor slays!! I 1KO’d a Crobat with Bullet Punch after one swords dance, and 1 KO’d a Metagross with thief. Tbh, since I included it on my team I haven’t lost yet.
Yeah, Swords Dance. My M. Scizor doesn’t carry it, as it seems too frail to live to use it. That and i have no way of teaching it to him.

You have to set up on the proper pokemon with Swords Dance.
M. Scizor should have the bulk to use Swords Dance at least once anyway.
Not mine. It’s almost always gets OHKO’d, which seems odd. May be the Ev spread, but it never lives to do much, especially against Goodra.

Nope. I use the Scizor competitively. 252spdef, 252 atk adamant. right now the moveset is Bullet Punch, Aerial Ace, Pursuit, X-Scissor, but I have yet to use it since it learned x scissor. Before that it had slash.
You might want to spread out those EVs for it to take more hits. And you might be better off with Thief over Pursuit.

I agree. I was gutted over Bug Bite, so now I have no STAB bug move. I run swords dance, aerial ace, thief, and bullet punch.
Mine has no EVs in any of its defenses, straight out offensive with attack and speed, and I always manage to get in 1 swords dance.

equip amulet coin/luck insense to the lead poke of your pokemon, and go to battle cheateu. the trainers there will give you 10,000-20,000 dollars per battle.

Nope. I’ve only bought two things. A shirt post game today, and a jacket back when i was rich. No, what happened was i blew it on Pokeballs and friend safaris. I actually didn’t like the charecter customization. It was lackluster, especially the hairstyles for males.
It’s because it’s HP didn’t change. High defenses mean nothing unless HP is at least 85 or higher. Exceptions for pokemon with lots of resistances.
Shuckle is also an exception.

either a safari that has audino/chansey in it, or the battle cheateu where every now and then ladies pop up with 3 lvl 45 audino’s in their party which dish out like 8000exp per audino if holding lucky egg lol.
My blaziken and chesnaught are lvl 100 from this way lol.
also another way, if you have enough pokemiles you can buy rare candy in lumiose poke center (south blvd) – or simply leave them in daycare and go do some stuff. My ditto is lvl 82 from being in daycare so long lol. You can also try seeing if the lady can move tutor/heart scale it. I forgot which city she is in though
