It has been recently discovered that if you now buy copies of Pokémon X & Y at a Walmart in the states, they will contain special serial codes. If you buy Pokemon X you’ll get a serial code to download a special Garchomp; if you get Y you’ll get one for a special Scizor. Both of these serial codes are one-time use only.
The details of these event Pokemon as well as how long this promotion lasts hasn’t been announced yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you guys updated!

If we had some kind of pokemon friendship mechanic, Pokemon would perform better in Double, Triple Battles and breeding would be easier. This is the next step.
how exactly would they preform better? for breeding i could see faster egg production with better stats and maybe even a shiny increase in proportion to the friendship between the two, but what about in battle? just wondering about your thoughts really.
They are trying to slowly make Pokemon seem more like the anime or something like real life, so personalities in battle does seem good…
The two pokemon would help each other in battle so things like “Nidoking took the hit for Nidoqueen” could happen. Or “Nidoking alerted Nidoqueen of the incoming attack”

Masuda Method tip: Collect every egg and when you have a full team of 5 eggs deposit them in the PC. Once you have a full box of eggs, go to Lumiose Central and put a piece of tape under the Circle Pad. Hatching O-Power really helps in this method. Once all 5 have hatched, go to the nearby Pokemon Center and get more eggs. Once every egg has hatched in that PC box and there is no shiny, go back to Camphrier Town and collect more boxes of eggs and repeat this process. Good luck!
