A rarely mentioned topic on our site is the TCG-side of Pokémon, but I think it’s more than worth talking about occasionally. Pokémon recently announced details about the English release of the X&Y TCG expansion which will be coming on February 5, 2014. Fairy-type has been added to the cards, as well as a new Mega Pokémon mechanic.
Personally, I’ve always been more of a “collector” type when it comes to the Pokémon TCG. My three sisters never had any interest in battling when I was younger so even if I had made a competitive deck there wouldn’t have been any way for me to test it out. Luckily, children growing up in this online era have the Pokémon TCG Online game in case they have no interested siblings or nearby events. I don’t have much time for it, but I do really enjoy the TCGO game so if you haven’t checked it out I recommend that you do!

Luckily my mom goes to my room when i’m sleeping cause she gets home around 2 am and she closes my 3ds if i fall asleep with it on :3 Can’t do that with a 2ds.

well, I had a grand theory about obtaining the coupon for the lumoise boutique, there is a lady in Cafe Woof who will only be impressed with you if you manage to keep your furfrou trimmed for 15 days straight, which means it stays in your party the entire time, I completed that today only to get pearl strings -.- i guess on the plus side my furfrou is level 80… now to find another way of getting the coupon!

so the lower your trainer shiny value is the easiest is to get shinys?
No, basically, every trainer has a Trainer Shiny Value, and every Pokemon Egg has a corresponding value.
If your value matches the egg value (let’s say yours is 488 and so is the egg’s) it will be a shiny)

Thanks! I enjoyed the battle. I really need to put some choice specs on my Exploud and a Choice band on my Garchomp and get rid of the Gengar it only had 1 perfect IV and was only there because I didn’t have anything else.
