PokéJungle Tournament Survey

Plans for launching our first Official PokéJungle Tournament are moving along swiftly, and we’re steadily laying down ideas behind the scenes ready for a full summary and rules set soon. While the majority of the organisation for this tournament is down to us staff, we still want some key input from our readers and potential competitors. As such we have created quick survey for our readers to fill out, the results of which will shape how this tournament will work, so please answer as best you can! Once we have received a reasonable amount of replies, we will review the results, finalise the tournament rules and publicly open sign-ups. So waste no time in getting your responses in!

You can find the survey by clicking here, or by revealing it in the spoiler below.

  1. My vote is a Doubles 4v4 Tourney. Admittedly, my team is more designed for Singles, but I prefer Doubles format since it is the official one Nintendo goes with. My team has pulled “Doubles-duty” on Battle Spot and has done well in Doubles though.

Once I get my Pokemon in from Gen V though in January, that’ll be another story. I’ve got some shiny secret weapons trained that I’m just dying to see in 3D.

  2. There’s always that moment when you stumble upon a shiny pokemon in the wild and for a second your just like, “Wait why is that pokemon a different color” because you know it’s not possible for someone like yourself to catch such a rare pokemon, but then you realize…

  3. The music got intense, that means it counts as if I’m at a 40 chain while I’m not. The two patches that shook aren’t good. What do I do??

  4. @NoArcheops127:disqus I got my pokes mixed up. I had a Modest Kirlia and a Calm Ralts with Trace. The Kirlia has Synchronise; however I went through special breeding for it to get a Modest Ralts with Trace.

  5. Just lost my PokeRadar chain of Pidgey’s even though the grass I entered was at least 4 steps away from me and shook the most. GameFreak can take this PokeRadar and shove it.

  7. Hey guys, I’m trying to make my first EV trained team, and so far I have a protean Modest Greninja. Any other recommendations?

  8. Is it like a rule to stay away from the edges during the PokeRadar? I’ve continued my streak even though I’ve gone to Grass shaking on the edge a few times..

  9. So, I have a TImid Protean Froakie that I want to trade. I don’t like Protean and don’t really want to keep it. I also have a Hasty one if anyone wants it. Any one looking for a HA Froak?

    • Atk, and one of it’s defenses or HP. Adamant Pokemon never get ev’s in their Special attack, and Trevanant has terrible special attack anyway.

        • If you want special attack, then yes. BUt adamant with 252 atk/252HP 4 spDef and Forest’s Curse, Will-O Wisp/Wood Hammer, X Scissor, and Phantom Force is also good. Why do you want special attack anyway?

          • I’m not understanding this comment. This is just a list of natures, and what they increase and decrease. Lonely is -def, +atk, and naughty is -SpD +atk, so if you want to use special attack in any way, lonely would be better, because the spdef decrease would make it more vulnerable to fire attacks. What i’m trying to say is that Adamant sets that ignore special attack are more practical. If you really want mixed, go with Mild instead.

          • “I’m either raising Sp Def or Def with Attack.”~ this means I’m not training Special attack anymore..

          • Oh ok. Well, I’d go with Sp Def because the amount of fire Pokemon their are, or Pokemon with Flamethrower period is ridiculous, and with Goodra and Noivern everywhere, it won’t be easy, so Sp def would be a much better choice.
