PokéJungle Tournament Survey

Plans for launching our first Official PokéJungle Tournament are moving along swiftly, and we’re steadily laying down ideas behind the scenes ready for a full summary and rules set soon. While the majority of the organisation for this tournament is down to us staff, we still want some key input from our readers and potential competitors. As such we have created quick survey for our readers to fill out, the results of which will shape how this tournament will work, so please answer as best you can! Once we have received a reasonable amount of replies, we will review the results, finalise the tournament rules and publicly open sign-ups. So waste no time in getting your responses in!

You can find the survey by clicking here, or by revealing it in the spoiler below.

          • i’m saying you have no idea what your opponent has and you using your gut to pick your Pokemon

and a followup I feel people would complain if they couldn’t see what their opponent’s Pokemon

          • well, my response is the same, you should be able to see your opponent’s party before the battle happens so that you’re not just randomly picking something that might work, part of the strategy involved is prediction, and by being able to see the opponent’s team, it will let you predict what he might use on you and vice versa

    • Yeah. Challenging friends or passerby, they could bring anyone, so it’s fair that you at least see your competition and can plan the best course of action to lead and go from there. I don’t think it’s fair if you know their team before even battling though. You can just make a complete counter team

    • There was a big ruckus about this at the beginning of last Gen. Because you didn’t have to pick a dedicated lead and could lead whatever you wanted based on what you predicted your opponent to do
Personally i think it’s fine, because its not like you get a chance to completely replace your team, to counter your opponents, it just gives you a chance to plan slightly ahead…plus if both sides have the same advantage, it’s not really an advantage to anyone…
