Recently, the comment section has been engaging in discussion of a PJN tournament, where we go all out and fight for #1, whether it be with the best Pokémon or with your favorites. As such, the staff chat has been bustling with discussion over it, with all of us bouncing and throwing ideas out at each other. The idea of a PJN tournament is definitely not a new one, but with the advent of Super Training, and other advances in the way you raise Pokemon (special thanks to Destiny Knot!), we think that this is the perfect time for us to see who really has the best battling skills in our community
Right now, details are still in the works but we hope to share more information with you soon. However, we would like to share a few anticipated questions, for better discussion in the comments.
When will this be held?
We don’t have an exact date. Expect it to be around the holiday season this year though.
Is this a Competitive-centric tournament?
Yes. With Super Training, we believe that even those who have no idea how to EV train the old-fashion way can still participate, and we see no reason as to splitting tiers and such. We understand some readers would like us to host this tournament using online Battle Simulators, at this point we will use only Pokémon X & Pokémon Y. It is possible we will allow the use of online battle simulators in future tournaments.
What are the Tournament Rules/Banned Pokemon and moves/Clauses/Tiers?
We’re still throwing ideas around at this point. Most of the staff are pushing for just the standard flat rules and clauses present in the game, with a hope of maybe doing 4 on 4 doubles and not 6 on 6/ 3 on 3 singles. Discussion would be widely appreciated regarding this.
Will there be any prizes for the winners?
Again, in the works. We would like to hear what you guys would like for a prize 🙂
How can I help out?
Tell your friends and share your ideas or concerns in the comments!
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, it’s safe to let the comments begin. Input on anything regarding this tournament is welcome and very appreciated, we all look forward to reading them! 🙂
Note from moving: Some of you may have been involved in the initial discussion with me about this a few days back, that small chat was what has kickstarted this into action. The sooner more of your express your interest in participation in this tournament the sooner sign-ups will be opened and we can begin sorting battle arrangements. Ideally we would open sign-ups this coming weekend and begin formatting early next week.

Does anyone want some Litleo? 95% are perfect in Ivs for SP. ATTACK, SP. DEFENSE, and HP, or a combination of two or three. They all have Timid natures except one and it’s docile.
what ability?
Either unnerve or Rivalry.
umm what’s the docile one?
and what gender?
Female. I have about thirty, more or less, and all of them are female but two or three.
Rivalry.
It has HP Ivs.
sure umm but could we do the trade over the weekend? and I only have a ton of Skiddo and Clamperl, all different natures and stuff……. you can tell me what nature you want and I can see if I have it. Perfect IVs are 6 for all stats right? Most of the Skiddo have 6 for every stat except one
Do the Gogoats have Milk Drink?
*Skiddo
no they’re all level one and were bread (breeded?) from a level 11 Skiddo and a foreign Ditto…. I still have some Skiddo eggs I could give you one and you can see if it hatches into a shiny 🙂 or you can just pick one that’s hatched already :p
Lol. It’s bred. Hm… Do you have any Jolly or Adamant ones?
I might have one Jolly…. idk about Adamant ]

Okay!
I’m sorry I don’t have either…. options are: Hasty Mild Careful Lonely Modest Hardy Naughty Sassy Lax Rash Serious Naive Quiet Bold Calm Docile and Impish

Who else believes this should be the new theme song? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KdDTjhogsY
um sure?
This actually brings back good memories:)
It was the best
It was one of my favorites I will now have this in my head for awhile probably didn’t help that I got it stuck when you sang(wrote) it
I remember disney, but then the war striked
Disney in the glory days… I miss this show so much!! :'(
It was the best why is it gone?
Because Disney likes to watch our dreams die lol
Because apparently they have to keep things relevant to todays kids and teens so they cancel all of the good shows :'( Good Luck Charlie was my favorite show left on Disney Channel. Boom canceled. I remember an episode where Raven accidentally shredded some paper so she was trying to rearrange them and put the pieces together. Then something happened to the papers that she had to the same again. DISNEY WHYY!!??
Disney has been left to rot. Cartoon Network is the only one left some pretty good shows that have DEVELOPING characters.
Back in my day, I had the great cartoons. Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dexter’s Lab, Hey Arnold, Ed, Edd, n Eddy, etc.
THE MEMORIES WHYYYYY
I may not be as old as you but I’m still old enough to remember all of those shows XD Boy do I miss my younger days :'( Ed, Edd, n Eddy were my favorite! What were those candies called? Jolly something right? To this day, I don’t know if Ed is a guy or a girl. Why does she/he not want people to look under his/her hat? XD I think it’s a guy though.
Jaw Breakers.
And Double D. is bald if I am correct.
HOW COULD THEY FIT THAT IN THEIR MOUTH?
Jaw. Jaw. JAW BREAKERS
That sounded horribly wrong…
Ed, Edd, n Eddy, was my favorite cartoon too 🙂 And Double D is a boy xD He’s just embarrassed about something under his hat. We don’t really know, but there’s plenty of speculation xD
“According to my calculations” Double D is a boy XD
The movie made it obvious that he is bald. When he loses his hat/sock/thingy, they crew yells,” MY EYES. THEY ARE BLINDED.” That kind of stuff. If I am wrong, then foop.
Could be that, or it was just some hideous hair style (He does have the slight hair coming out the back of his hat). We don’t know for sure 😛
Well, they did censor it… Either way, it’s blinding XD
good times I also watched rugrats
Ah, there’s another one!
that was defiantly a favorite it annoyed my brothers though lol
Oh and I also remember the wild thornberrys man there were a lot of good shows then
I watched that show a little too 😀
I didn’t watch it all the time but I liked it more than a lot of the newer stuff now 🙂
The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, That’s So Raven, Suite Life of Zack & Cody, so much more :'( I want to cry, so much nostalgia!!
I hated Zach and Cody. :p
Its everywhere 🙂 one of the shows I missed was Lizzie Mcguire
This was my favorite part of the movie:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-s7ol38Ifs
I loved that part my favorite as well I repeated that moment a lot it made me excited 😀 Im not proud(or maybe I am) I danced and sang around to it xD
Oh and the beginning where she was singing and fell into the tub XDD
That was hilarious XD
I always put my TV on max volume and blast the song XD My mom loved the song and used to sing it.
😀 I got strange looks lol
Loved that show. I was picky with shows lol. I cried when Gary crashed in that SpongeBob episode XD
I about cried XD nothing wrong with being picky either 🙂 it shows you make good choices I think
I cried when Stitch died at the end of the Lilo and Stich sequel. Dem feels. Best Movie Ever.
Right the feels in that moment 🙁
I honestly believed that Stitch was saved was saved by the machine working at the last and final important moment, not the “Power of Love” bullshit.
yeah true
Even Stevens, Rugrats, Cory in the House, The Emperor’s New School…
GOOD MORNING
(To be honest, I hate that show and that guys voice -_- reminds me of Patrick)
I like it lol.
I really miss the old disney
spore…

DONT USE EARTHQUACKE

and what i should focus on in super training it annddd maybe moves ? XD
i heard people dont use mewtwo right so i was wondering what exactly is the right way? or…a right way XD

Best hold item for a Modest dragonite with a sp. attack movepool?
Choise specs?
I’m already using that with another Pokemon. Can you have 2 of them?
Yes. 😀
Weakness Policy.
… Interesting…. Hmmm
Probably the best with Multiscale.
I believe I have a multiscale dratini already from the wondertrade, so I’m set up with that. 😛
Well, Multiscale is far better than Inner Focus. Sorry if this an inconvenience :C
But…I have one…What?
I feel bad if you have to train that Dratini…
Why?
I feel bad if I cause inconveniences..
… I don’t know what you’re trying to tell me…. Lol XD What inconveniences are you talking about?
STEALTH ROCKED
