Pokémon X & Pokémon Y introduced some great new social features to the Pokémon series, and we understand that our readers are keen on battling, trading and interacting with one another in the game. A week or so back we created a Friend Safari post so that our readers could swap their codes for one another to add. Since before X & Y released we wanted to create some sort of database that would work alongside a set of systems we would release after release, only now are we starting the project though. A mention to the Pokémon forum at GameFAQs must be made for the inspiration for the execution of this.
We’re launching this database in preparation for some of the future systems we’re going to release and us such it’s a very crude and simple version of what the final product would hopefully look like. While initially only the database will be available we’re hoping to launch several other features for X & Y, which will include a Battle Spot and Trading Post. These two will allow our readers (and hopefully anyone on the internet) to publish requests for battles and trades, much like the GTS in game, but with a more social approach. We’ll provide further details on those soon, so stay tuned!
To submit your details to the Friend Code database you simply have to fill out the submission form. When filling it out please use correct grammar and punctuation and follow the simple guidelines we have listed, this helps to organise the information and allows us to filter out any inappropriate content. In order to view and check both your own and details of others please view the Friend Code Database.
It is important to note that we are essentially launching this as a beta, in order to test the simple functions and scripts Google provides; it is not final. If successful the feature will become an important part of the site. If the project doesn’t take off we will reconsider our approach and make future decisions based on feedback and reception. As always we’d like to hear your feedback on this project, and any suggestions you have for other things you’d like to see us implement on the site in the comments. Feel free to ask any questions or raise any issues you have with anything site related and we will do our best to resolve them.

Archeops was one of my favorite fossil Pokemon… then I saw it’s XY model… I’m conflicted. Part of me wants to think that it’s that graceful predator of the air. The other part of me realizes that it’s really an awkward, oversized chicken… Archeops, sorry, I still love ya, but XY chicken-ified you!

Adventure Time and Regular Show have been pretty good. And America’s gotten stupider as the years have gone by..
I was in no way referring to either of those shows. I feel that Regular Show is more aimed to older children though. I am in no way saying that all new shows are bad.
My dad would watch some of my childhood shows (Pokemon, Spongebob, Rocket Power, Rugrats, Yugioh) and he’d say they were kids shows, but he’d show interest and recognize them as legitimate shows (he was a big super-hero show buff as a kid). Nowadays, I just don’t get the shows the kids watch. Maybe it is a bit growing up, but it’s also a bit of lack of quality. The only quality cartoon I’ve seen recently is Phineas and Ferb.

I don’t remember. Same thing happened to my Groundon from Ruby. Only that was on the GTS. This thing just up and disappeared. I went to double check the game file yesterday and it had been restarted!

When I got my first Pokemon game, I got a used one. I didn’t know how to delete the file so I was stuck not being able to save and I never got to keep my starter :'( I wish I could have had it with me all these years…
My first game was yellow with a purple gameboy color. I remember that Christmas morning, the smells, everything! It’s the best memory I have! I still have my friend’s Charizard and a Sceptile of mine. And a Blaziken. My Swampert didn’t make it unfortunately… It knew surf… So it couldn’t be transferred.

So I decided to give “Chain Fishing” a test, and after 26 encounters with the good rod I ran into a shiny horsea 🙂 naughty nature, “overall good stats”, and 31 IV’s in sp def, and swift swim!! yes! Pretty cool.

A ton (3 PC boxes) of this secret Pokemon with the ones that have good IVs in Speed only have at most 3 IVs.

You could get a Pokemon compatible with it and if it has the nature you want, have it hold the Everstone 😀 They stay with it once they are born.

They stay with the Pokerus I mean. The Everstone passes down the nature so you’ll have the correct nature every time.

If you haven’t bred one yet, Protean Froakie. Protean Greninja is one of my best team members so far.
Also, what about a Belly Drum + Aqua Jet Azumarill? You’ll have to chain breed Belly Drum from a Poliwhirl and Aqua Jet from a Floatzel, but the end result is fantastic. My Azumarill has both of those and Play Rough and Superpower and he just wrecks.
