PokéJungle Friend Code Database

Pokémon X & Pokémon Y introduced some great new social features to the Pokémon series, and we understand that our readers are keen on battling, trading and interacting with one another in the game. A week or so back we created a Friend Safari post so that our readers could swap their codes for one another to add. Since before X & Y released we wanted to create some sort of database that would work alongside a set of systems we would release after release, only now are we starting the project though. A mention to the Pokémon forum at GameFAQs must be made for the inspiration for the execution of this.

We’re launching this database in preparation for some of the future systems we’re going to release and us such it’s a very crude and simple version of what the final product would hopefully look like. While initially only the database will be available we’re hoping to launch several other features for X & Y, which will include a Battle Spot and Trading Post. These two will allow our readers (and hopefully anyone on the internet) to publish requests for battles and trades, much like the GTS in game, but with a more social approach. We’ll provide further details on those soon, so stay tuned!

To submit your details to the Friend Code database you simply have to fill out the submission form. When filling it out please use correct grammar and punctuation and follow the simple guidelines we have listed, this helps to organise the information and allows us to filter out any inappropriate content. In order to view and check both your own and details of others please view the Friend Code Database.

It is important to note that we are essentially launching this as a beta, in order to test the simple functions and scripts Google provides; it is not final. If successful the feature will become an important part of the site. If the project doesn’t take off we will reconsider our approach and make future decisions based on feedback and reception. As always we’d like to hear your feedback on this project, and any suggestions you have for other things you’d like to see us implement on the site in the comments. Feel free to ask any questions or raise any issues you have with anything site related and we will do our best to resolve them.

As always, please Like us on Facebook and Follow us on Twitter. Don’t forget to register on our forums, and take part in some great discussion with other Pokémon fans.  Please remember to follow our Community Guidelines too!

  4. The struggles of living on the east coast: It’s midnight and I miss half of the entertaining conversations here, along with having a math exam and haven’t studied. What am I gonna do in college next year? :/

      • I’m so unbelievably worried about college in four years, because I have doubts that me and my girlfriend will be able to stay together…

        • You’ll be able to be together, just long distant… I haven’t seen my boyfriend in four months and we’ve been together for seven.

        • My boyfriend and I have been long distance for 5 years and we are only just starting to consider moving in together in another half of a year. I’m sure you’ll be fine if you remain dedicated and communicate as much as possible.

        • You’ve got a load of time, assuming you stay together throughout high school your relationship will be so strong, something like college won’t destroy it. Enjoy life my man, enjoy the moments and let life take it’s course. Just be prepared.

          • Me and her man…it’s the only thing I can imagine. I am such an awkward person, she is the only one who ever reached out to me and wanted to get to know me better ;_; Right now, if it’s not her, it’s not anyone.

          • You sound a lot like how I think at times. Not because of the socially awkward thing, but the emotions you feel for her, it’s a great attribute to have. It’s good because she has your all. She’d be crazy to leave you, so don’t even worry about it. Live in the moment, enjoy being with her all you can, instead of living in the “what if”.

          • I would never, ever, ever leave her for anybody, and I doubt that she would leave me either, so what we have right now could last.

          • I don’t mean to sound like an complete dick here, and im glad for you and really wish you luck in this relationship, I truly do. but, if for some reason, it happens to not work out, I hope, as your dear friend who has only spoken to you over a pokemon internet community a few times, that you have the strength to keep going and not drown in depression.

          • I have thought about that many times. I have put it far into my mind the feelings I have for this girl, and it certainly would scar me. But the thing is, that will never happen. Neither of us are “players”. Neither of us are entirely outgoing. But both of us have similar interests. We have a rich history. Our families have things in common. Just everything…it clicks.

        • I’ve been in a long distance relationship since end of high school and it’s been 4~5 years all throughout college and it couldn’t be any better.

          • I know… I kinda have a crush on someone, but I’ve stated I don’t like so many times, everybody thinks I don’t like her. And how I playfully tease her makes it obvious… ;C

          • Treat her as a good friend and talk to her more frequently so you both never feel awkward. I feel that is the key.

          • I do treat her like a good friend…. In a way you’d only know if you knew me personally…. And I sit next to her…. I feel so awkward around her, even if she doesn’t feel awkward around me..

          • Ouch, denial is not good. Too much of it makes it hard to get out of that “zone”. Although it’s a natural response to deny your affections, it can hurt more than it can help. Don’t be afraid!

          • Thing is, I’m only 13, and I don’t have to worry about that kind of stuff for a year… And my friends kinda know I like her… And the denial has stopped. But I feel like it’s begun to be veeeery obvious. And the teasings really brutal where I go to school at..

          • Wow, you’re very young as well. Being 4 years older, I can tell you that if this doesn’t work out, there are bigger and better opportunities out there. Trial and error, it’s what makes you who you are.

          • I hope so… I’m either the guy you love, or the guy you hate. I make many girls laugh, so maybe that helps? I dunno XD

          • teasing is just so stupid. I’m in college now and stuff like that is basically nonexistent. I was teased when I was in middle school, and I have one piece of advice.

Live life how you want to. Don’t let them tell you how to live. You like this girl? Go for it. If people tease you they are a bunch of hypocrites, because they’ve all been in the same type of situation before.

          • I can defend myself from teasing easily. I’m one of the most respected people in my school. But it’s more from friends that tease me…

          • Your friends tease you? Like a playful tease or a serious tease? Cause that doesn’t sound friendly to me. I’ve had friends that gave me a lot of hell for stuff. I ignored them too.

          • It’s a mixture. They tend to make fun of me because of Pokemon, but I can bite back. HARD. Donz worry about me 😉

          • I wish people would realize that there is nothing wrong with liking Pokemon. It’s just a game. In high school I embraced my love of Pokemon, and I only had a few people say anything to me about it. I just treated it like it was normal, because it is.

Besides, your friends don’t know what they are missing. 😛

          • Dude, let me tell you, there could be a pleasant surprise in your future. I was ASKED to homecoming by this girl, instead of the other way around.

          • This is what I originally had in my mind, but lo and behold the girl I have always liked asked me to homecoming and nothing was ever the same.

          • Actually it’s nice seeing that a lot of people have similar circumstances to me. It’s so awesome and gives me a lot more confidence. Hopefully it does the same for others here too. Ah, thanks be the internet!

          • I was just thinking the same thing! I keep thinking we won’t be able to be together with this distance but I see from others it should still workout.

          • Lots of luck, actually. I met my boyfriend through completely random circumstances of happening to be at the exact right place at the exact right time and then just happening to keep talking over Skype.

          • I didn’t date at all during junior high and high school. At least until my second semester. I met him while shipping a doctor who cookie had when he worked at ups. Now we message over FB and skype at times. It’s a drawn out story. Lol.

  5. God this conversation down there is making me feel so much more connected to my girlfriend! XD now I have to put more effort into the birthday present.

  6. Sorry guys, that’s enough therapy/bonding/feeling time for me for the night. This is why I love PJN, a community like no other. A true family. Now to study before my college rescinds my offer of admission! :/
