PokéJungle Friend Code Database

Pokémon X & Pokémon Y introduced some great new social features to the Pokémon series, and we understand that our readers are keen on battling, trading and interacting with one another in the game. A week or so back we created a Friend Safari post so that our readers could swap their codes for one another to add. Since before X & Y released we wanted to create some sort of database that would work alongside a set of systems we would release after release, only now are we starting the project though. A mention to the Pokémon forum at GameFAQs must be made for the inspiration for the execution of this.

We’re launching this database in preparation for some of the future systems we’re going to release and us such it’s a very crude and simple version of what the final product would hopefully look like. While initially only the database will be available we’re hoping to launch several other features for X & Y, which will include a Battle Spot and Trading Post. These two will allow our readers (and hopefully anyone on the internet) to publish requests for battles and trades, much like the GTS in game, but with a more social approach. We’ll provide further details on those soon, so stay tuned!

To submit your details to the Friend Code database you simply have to fill out the submission form. When filling it out please use correct grammar and punctuation and follow the simple guidelines we have listed, this helps to organise the information and allows us to filter out any inappropriate content. In order to view and check both your own and details of others please view the Friend Code Database.

It is important to note that we are essentially launching this as a beta, in order to test the simple functions and scripts Google provides; it is not final. If successful the feature will become an important part of the site. If the project doesn’t take off we will reconsider our approach and make future decisions based on feedback and reception. As always we’d like to hear your feedback on this project, and any suggestions you have for other things you’d like to see us implement on the site in the comments. Feel free to ask any questions or raise any issues you have with anything site related and we will do our best to resolve them.

  8. Just watched the first 2 English Pokemon XY Anime Episodes. Pokemon X and Y will by far have the best anime, I think. I say this because I’ve stopped watching the Anime since the beginning of Gen 5 I believe. I loved Gens 3 and 4 as far as anime, not too fond of 2, and 1 was alright. But 6 started off AMAZING. I plan on watching the Japanese English subtitled Episodes 3-5. Ash looks a bit more mature, and Clemont is just epic. Bonnie needs some getting used to, but she is really cool as well. I love the storyline behind Froakie, but my absolute favorite part was seeing the original Team Rocket motto return. I’m also glad to see Mega Evolution introduced early in the anime as well. Ash climbing Prism Tower is surreal, and therefore I can draw a conclusion that he has indeed grown. Although claims I have made may be untrue due to me not watching the anime for about a year, I still am pumped about the XY anime. Too bad we have to wait until December for more English episodes. 🙁

  13. I’m in a really ranty mood right now, anybody got anything absolutely bothering them lately? Recently, I’ve been really bitchy about how Seth McFarlane is considered one of the most innovative people in the world, when he has 3 of the most infuriating animated shows now

      • Family Guy is one of the most sinful shows out there right now, with absolutely weightless plots, despicable characters, terrible script-writing and of course the often despised cutaways. I’m not even gonna touch on how condescending Seth is to critics of his work

          • Oh and don’t even get me started on one of the absolute worst animation styles since Johnny Test and The Problem Solvers. No wonder Family Guy got renewed twice from cancellation its so damn cheap to make

          • Johnny Test and Annoying Orange are the only bad shows left on CN. I have no clue as to why so many people dislike Uncle Grandpa so much alot of its humor is reminiscent towards Ren and Stimpy

          • I think people have had enough of random humor. Ren and Stimpy was groundbreaking with it, and so it is not seen as a bad show. Uncle Grandpa just needed to get used to its formula.

          • yeah, random humor isn’t seen as much considering how much shows previously ran on it and utterly failed. Also, American Dad is basically Family Guy except its somewhat better but you can only go up from where Family Guy was. The Cleveland Show should just be renamed Stereotypes and Pop Culture Jokes: The Show since thats basically all there is in that show

          • I prefer American Dad over Family Guy by a lot. It had decent plot points, creative characters, and a CONTINUITY. It’s humor is what really gets me, though.

          • American Dad, in my opinion, is decent at best and insufferable at worst, I really can’t stand Seth’s “punching bag characters” that end up being the only likable characters but are treated like crap in the show, I’m just really irked that one of the most douchiest, pompous, overhyped person in the world is considered an artistic genius.
