Well, today’s my birthday and I had a great surprise from my wife. She comes in the bedroom saying something’s wrong with the 3DS and hands it to me to see if I could figure out what was wrong. Flipped the screen and – bam! – Pokemon Y!!! It was a very happy birthday! lol Now to get X for her Christmas gift.

Lumiose City is the best place in the game in my opinion. It’s so beautiful and so is the music.
It’s so big and confusing is what Jordin means.
That’s the adventure! lol haha. I spoiled the game a little – just Gen 6 Pokemon-wise. I still don’t know the story and all that haha.

Thanks to both lol. She knows how much I love Pokemon lol. Started with Gen 2 then backtracked to Gen 1. Sadly, I never got a real chance to play Gen 3 or 4; just little things to help out my cousins that had them. She got me Black 2 for Christmas last year as I got her Black the year before. I’m so hooked and I’ve only clocked in like 4 hrs or so haha.
Oh yeah. They’re the best games I’ve played in a long time. This site just makes it even better with multiplayer. It’s as good if not better than gen three and I just like the pokemon and and Byron from gen four. Sinnoh’s layout was terrible.

I use smogon but I started using it after I played raw and learned from my mistakes in actual battle. Then smogon has good suggestions but their format is different so it’s not always best.

I use smogon a lot, or should I say used, but mainly for stats and EV spreads. Reference really. I rarely use full strategies. Their belief is pseudos and power; brutal force.
Okay, that sounds fair for EV spreads and what not. This will be interesting. I wonder how many times I’ll lose before I get a win XD
It took me a while after being beaten up horribly in gen four. It’s one of those test and perfect things.
I’ve been getting more into the abilities since Gen 5 because Gen 1 and 2 didn’t have them and I’ve never played Gen 3 or 4.
I didn’t discover Evs until late gen five, so don’t worry. Lol!

I love defensive and bulky pokes! I can’t wait to transfer my old ones. I got annoyed with the lit wicks in B/2 for sp. Attack training. Especially with grass types and ice types.

I feel like such an idiot. This whole time I thought Magic Bounce was this amazing ability where if there are already hazards on your side of the field, if you send out a Pokemon with that ability, it knocks the hazards to the other side. But nope, it just works if they try setting up hazards and the Magic Bounce Pokemon is the target.
yeah if it was that…then Magic Bounce would be banned xD

what exactly is priority in pokemon? o.o;
It’s what allows some Pokémon to go first in battle, even if they are super slow. For example, Quick Attack had a priority of +1, therfore the user will go first, even if it is the slowest on the field.
This is why everybody loves the Prankster Ability.
