You can’t hide it from me anymore. XY have been out for several weeks. It’s time to boot up the 3DS activity log and show the real playtime you’ve got.

Surprised? Or is it manageable? Do you dare to post it here? I really hope you do. Or else this post was completely worthless :(.

Anyway, I’ve been really busy busy with studying and life and stuff and I’m feeling a creative block for writing my review. I hope that will get better once I finally get some good sleep. See you soon, with (hopefully) my review!

I was really addicted when playing through the story, but now that I beat the main gameplay and the looker quests, there isn’t too much to do other than train and friend safari but I don’t have wifi until I go home :/ so it’s just training for me which I find a bit boring. Because I’ve caught almost all of the pokemon available in the wild within the game, other than those at the friend safari..

  2. OK, I need opinions here, feel free to say what you like.

    I’m breeding a Charmander with Dragon Pulse and its Hidden Ability, Solar Power. Out of luck, I got a Modest Male one, but it’s only decent IV is Defense, even though the Charmander I was breeding was holding a Power Lens. Should I keep breeding to get one with IV’s in Sp. Attack and Speed, or should I keep it as it is? I’m extremely tired of breeding this thing. I’ve been breeding it for two days right now… XD

          • OK put your modest charmander in the day care holding an everstone to make sure all babies are modest and maybe give the other parent a destiny knot to increase the chance if the babies having good defense like the original charmander

          • The thing is, I’d have to have a female Charmander as the other parent, and I only have two female Charmander. One of them having decent Attack, and the other one having above average HP. Should I still do it?

          • When he says “decent” or “above average” he means the stats overall. He then tells you the best stat and say that it’s “definitely got some good stats”, “fantastic stats” or cant be better. What does he say about the HP and defence?

            Alright, so I’ll give the Male Modest Charmander the Everstone, and breed it with a Female one and give it the Power Lens?

    • Try breeding a good charmander with dittos and the destiny knot from the friend safari to get perfect ivs then breed it with your charmander holding an everstone to get the modest nature and the egg moves

    • This is coming from personal experience:

      What if Shuckle is that last Pokemon you have left and the opponent is immune to Toxic + you ran out of PP for Infestation?

        • I had the longest battle of my life when a Mega Gengar was at 3 HP and we were both at our last Pokemon. I had no more attacking moves/damage inflicting moves and it all ended when he used Dark Pulse one last time. I would have had to Soft-boil if I had to attack like 3 more times so the battle would have never ended.

  4. I’m a hopeless addict but I only have about 115 hours so far. I beat the main game and the side quests pretty quickly, but now comes the real game for me: shiny hunting. I’ve already caught a Goldeen, a Relicanth, and three Skrelp, all within 24 hours of each other. Now I’ve done about 330 Fennekin eggs MM style for a Timid shiny. I’ll still be working on my new wish list when Gen III or VII comes out, so I’m set for quite a while. I love this game. <3

  9. I wouldn’t say I’m addicted because I only play on the weekends to stretch out the game over a long period of time. If I had to guess my play time, it’d be around 70 hours.

  13. so I ordered from amazon (which is arriving tomorrow!) “Howl’s moving Castle”, “Spirited Away”, and “Tales from earthsea”. are those good choices?
