I love how there are certain people here that are almost always on here. It’s like Facebook; we just don’t know each other. I think we should add our disqus profile pics to our 3DS and set them as our profile pics in X and Y so it’s easier to figure out who is who.

How’d you do that?
Go to the square thing on the PSS. Click “Profile” Click where it says your in game name and tap “Profile Picture.” You have to take the picture using the 3DS camera app since you could only choose from the gallery.

I keep seeing screenshots of people battling any one of the Kalos starters and/or their evolutions in the wild. Are they available in the wild after a certain point or is that just from Friend Safari and such?

What about the evolutions?
Only the middle forms are catchable. But their abilities won’t change when they evolve. You can also breed them and have their offsprings have their hidden abilitiy. Both male and female can pass them down now (if male, it’ll only work with ditto).
I don’t always get challenged to a battle, but when I do I’m in the middle of an E4 battle.
Sometimes, I wish there were 3 or more files in Pokemon games….

No. You can’t trade eggs. Mystery eggs can happen anywhere as they are coding errors.

Still in dire need on an ability capsule. If I can’t find a trade soon I’ll be Battle Maisoning it myself, but I’d prefer not to have to do that if I can.
I’d just train another poke with the ability I want, if I were you
I need it fully trained in 3 hours. The ability capsule will be much quicker for that I think.
EV training takes 25-30 mins. For leveling up, use Lucky Egg + Exp. Share & challenge the elite 4 again. Have the poke you want to train face every other poke then switch out so it gets 100% of the exp. You’ll reach level 50 in 2 Elite 4 rounds max! And that’s if you’re training a Lv.1 poke.
You could also go to a Friend Safari with Chansey and or Audino to gain some massive Exp. Have the Pokemon you’re training hold the Lucky Egg for even more.
well you only need t raise it to lv.50 unless you need a high level move, and ev training shouldn’t take more than 45 minutes…
Easier still, just do rotation battles at Le Wow with a lucky egg and the exp O-power.
How much does that place cost
100k to do it, but after a while it become 90k. That sounds like a lot, but with amulet coins and o-powers, plus the balm mushrooms you earn, you actually make a huge profit.
The key problem here is that I don’t want to have to re-train anything. I have grown attached to Shao, I don’t want to retrain it. I just want a frickin ability capsule to make its ability useful.
that’s understandable. but it seems if you are going to make that decision, you’ll need to put up with the possibility that you may not be able to do what you please in the time allotted. Im not trying to be a dick, really im not. please understand.

Not many people are here at the moment and I would suggest doing it yourself. “If you want a thing done well, do it yourself.” It’s better that you start battling now before it gets too late. As a plus, you get to keep the item 🙂 (Just make sure not to use it in-game as it’s a one-time use item. You could use it in Wi-Fi battles as many times as you want)

If the pokemon that you want to train is lvl 40 or less, yes
Well, Audino typically gives you tons of experience
My preferred mode of experience grinding is the restaurant Le Wow. Do rotation battles with the things you’re training as well as one strong one. Give the trainees lucky eggs and give the strong pokemon an amulet coin. Activate the experience and prize money O-Powers.
Audino and Chansey are great for exp crunching because they give tons of experience and hardly attack you. I like to use EXP O-Powers when I’m doing it thought so it gives me more experience.

apparently according to my game, never. haha, the higher your rank, the higher the CHANCE of getting more difficult opponents is. im a duke, and I still have mostly all trainers with one pokemon lv20. its ridiculous.
i just have the worst luck, no shinies no getting stronger in the chateau
if you really want a shiny, take the time to consecutive fish. its really garunteed that you’ll get one if you are good at hooking pokemon.
