Yep, apparently it is needed to continue with the Plot, in the same vain that Reshiram/Zekrom were needed to continue. Probably also why they are so easy to catch
If I breed a male bagon with hidden ability shelgon, will I be able to get hidden ability babies, or do they have to be the same exact pokemon?

Is anyone else finding that their appreciation for old Pokemon is increasing? Like, I’m actually considering using a Victreebel in a playthrough now. Just from having it as my horde summoner.

I bred two male Hoppips. One’s potential is above average overall, best potential is in Defense where it has some fantastic stats. The other is decent overall, but has perfect Defense. Which one should I use to breed with Destiny Knot Female Shroomish for IVs?

Am I the only one that doesn’t make my pokemon have perfect stats and prefer just to play the game then competitively with HA’s?
Nope, that’s me. Although I can be picky with their abilities.
In a World of 7 billion you’re never the only one. People have different preferances. I find competitive wifi battling a lot of fun. And breeding (for IVs, natures, abilities) just adds a bit of a challenge to an otherwise very easy game. At least that’s how i see it.
I used to think like that, but to keep up with everyone else, you need good stats. Also when i got into competitive, it was so much fun!
Pokemon are tools of war and aggression. Only the fittest survive.

I’m searching for a near perfect Breloom mainly so my other Breloom can stay on White 2 and continue to dominate the PWT. Otherwise, I mainly use the Pokemon from my in-game team regardless of their IVs because I journeyed with them.
That said, Chaos said it best. We all have our way of doing things.

The furthest I am willing to go and still have fun is looking for the right nature. I admit IV make a difference but its too much of a hassle to go through just to get one poke right
I will play the game as I always have. For fun. I’m getting into competitive this time around because it seems fun. In game it doesn’t matter but in competitive everyone (or almost everyone) tries to get perfect Pokemon or else you’re going to get left behind and most people will beat you.
I care if the IVs are awful, but I tend to settle for 20-31 in a stat. I do EV train though.

Takes me about 15-30 minutes with Hordes. I don’t have Pokerus though. Plus the fact that there are different Hordes available in each area, so it is annoying when the wrong one keeps showing. But it’s still wayyy better than previously and faster than SuperTraining

Doing the Single Battle twice (40 battles) will net you enough BP to buy all of them.
Sweet….btw I nicknamed my Froakie Volke…after Fire Emblem Path of Radiance
20 battles in a row in Singles gives 48 BP….so yeah

I highly recommend awakening for 3ds if you like it. Plus pokemon are replaced by people and pokemon evolve but the characters evolve into higher classes

In a few years I’ll be playing Z/Hoenn remakes/whatever GameFreak surprises us with :O
They’re most likely making Gen 7 or Pokemon Z because a person in one of the hotels in Kalos says something like this:
“My region has a town that you wouldn’t believe. Never mind, you’ll see it in due time.”
And then the next day when you talk to him he says:
“Which region do I come from? Well, I can tell that it’s not Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh or even Unova!”
The reason that I believe Pokemon Z might be possible even after this is because of Pokemon X’s Pokedex entry for Zygrade:
” When the ecosystem falls into disarray, this Pokemon shows itself and reveals it’s secret power.”
You should really play Fire Emblem Awakening because it has a great story line, great graphics and great gameplay. I rate it at a much higher rank than Animal Crossing and equal with Pokemon X & Y.
BP farming in the Battle Maison is relatively easy. Just a bit time consuming. I have multiples of the power items now, so i can EV train more than one Pokemon at a time. It saves so much time
Just asking but what is the point to Ev training Pokemon by battling Hordes now that we have Super Training? Or does Battling for Evs also improve Ivs?
Battling Hordes is much faster than Super Training…and you can multiple Pokemon at once if they require the same EVs

What is the best nature for Mawile? Where should I EV train it in? What is a good moveset for it? Which ability is the best for it? I have a Sheer Force Mawile but I don’t know if it’s a good ability for it. The other abilities it has are Intimidate and Hyper Cutter. So which ability is the best for Mawile?

Intimidate or Hyper Cutter. Mine has Hyper Cutter.
Adamant or Impish. Maybe Careful. But you’re better off with either of the first two. Mine is Impish.
Moveset: Swords Dance, Play Rough, Iron Head, Sucker Punch.

EV train it in HP and Attack. 252/252. You can give the remaining 4 to Defense or Special Defense. I have mine to Defense.
Impish with Max defence and Intimidate, allows Mawile to be the prefect switch into physical attackers.
It was the luck of the draw at the time for me. I didn’t have access to the IV lady, and was going with the first to arrive since I was eager to train it. I like Hyper Cutter anyways, prevents my attack from being lowered from those Intimidate users.
So many people are using Mega Mawile incorrectly. Sometimes the best strategy is the one no one is expecting~
