Dae asks: What do you want to see from my XY review?

I’m still alive! I had a really rough week this week, and mostly four hours of sleep each day. I hardly had the time to check my computer, let alone do something meaningful (sleep deprivation isn’t very helpful when writing articles).

Yet, after I finish doing some important homework, I will get back to writing my XY review. I don’t plan to write a review like most gaming site do, but more of an extensive opinion piece comparing the game to the ones who came before it. I’ll write a bit about the new direction they are seemingly taking and how they try to accomplish that and will give my opinion on all the changes and new stuff to see what I think works and what could use improvement. I’ll try to only include mild spoilers, so I won’t discuss story in detail or anything like that.

That brings me to my question of today: where would you like to see me focusing on? Are there any points in the game that stood out for you, be it positively or negatively? Any suggestion are greatly appreciated :).

I don’t know when the review exactly will hit, seeing as I’m still a busy man. It most likely will be around Monday. I’m revealing new details for PJN Magazine very soon, based on all the feedback I got. I got like 140 replies, with only a few trolls, so the interesting seems to be there.

  1. I would like to see a complex review, with some details that other reviewers don’t say. It would also be nice if you could say your best and worst Pokemon designs of the generation. Keep looking foward to it anyay 😉

  2. Well, sadly Dicie’s birthday is coming to a close. As off topic as it is, I wanna say I had a wonderful day, and the reason I wasn’t on too much is because I was celebrating with 6 of my friends, my family and other friends as well. I had a party, we ate, played, danced, and the overall hype of the day was too much for me to handle. I’ll hopefully be on more often this weekend, but not too much throughout the week due to school. I love my life even more after today, so PJN, just wanna say I love you all! 😀

  11. I love that the Vs. Recorder can save many battle videos now, and can also act like the secret bases in R/S/E did. Where the AI takes over your opponents team and you battle it….Hoenn Confirmed.

  12. Man I love the fact that now I use a paper weight and place it on my 3DS to hatch any egg without ever having to touch my 3DS….thank you circular path outside Lumiose tower

      • They always do that 😉
        The longest route in a straight line is almost always at the daycare centre point. Minor exception in BW where Skyarrow bridge was much better for egg hatching, but even then the route which the daycare is on has a decent amount of straight route.

  24. Guys. I just thought of something.. What if instead of Ruby/Sapphire remakes, we get an Emerald remake. BUT, split into two, like Emerald X and Emerald Y where they introduce 2 mega forms of Rayquaza. That would be soooooo cool. It’s a longshot but, hey.
