  1. Really hope for a hint to Pokemon X2 and Y2, or Pokemon Z, or R/S/E remakes, despite the likelihood being lower than low. Really hope for at least a small tease, as an new email someone sent me with insider information on the new games has been on my mind for awhile now. You all probably don’t wanna hear it, and don’t wanna get in admin trouble either.

      • ok that’s mainly what I was asking thanks! 🙂 im tired of all this training for the day, im gunna go play some amnesia: the dark descent before bed, goodnight guys!

          • I love horror games. love them. that’s an understatement, actually. as long as it isn’t teasing my arachnophobia, I love being scared. movies never cut it though, horror movies nowadays really suck. so horror games are the way to go. amnesia, SCP: Containment breach, and slender: the eight pages are among my favorites.

          • I love the Horror games, but I can’t handle gore AT ALL. It’s kinda funny… But the last good horror movie I’ve seen was Cabin in the Woods..

          • nope. hated it. sorry, I honestly cannot even fathom how anyone thought that movie was good. opinions are just that though, opinions, and everyone’s entitled to theirs, so I guess that’s ok 🙂

  2. Can someone check my Friend Safari to see if it has Gabite? I don’t remember and I need one with it’s hidden ability (Rough Skin). If you find one and it has it’s hidden ability, I’ll find one of your Pokemon in your Safari with it’s hidden ability and trade it to you in return 🙂

  3. Hmm… I’m thinking of making mawile a permanent member on my poketeam.
What sort of nature and EV stats should I train it for?

    • Here’s what I do:

When first starting out, feed them until they’re full and won’t take anymore. Try petting it, but if a musical note appears, it means they want to play. So I play the easiest game for me, Head It on Hard. At the end I get high ranked Pokepuffs (Makes affection grow faster).

After the game, feed it 3 Pokepuffs, pet it twice, play a game again. Feed it 3 Pokepuffs, pet it twice, play a game again. Over and over. Your affection level will go up one heart when the Pokemon jumps up and down and tons of hearts spill out of it. Just keep doing it, if no distractions and you concentrate solely on doing this, it should take only about 25 minutes to max out affection.

  4. Has anyone gone on a Wonder Trade-palooza? The past 3 days I have been Wonder Trading away and there have been some cool Pokemon.

    Here was what I did:

-Go to a Route (don’t choose an earlier Route)
    -Stand in the grass.
    -Catch a Pokemon there.
-Wonder Trade that Pokemon if you’re okay with it.
-If the Pokemon you receive from WT is bad or you don’t like it, trade it instead of having to catch another Pokemon.
-If the Pokemon you get is good or you like it, keep it and catch another Pokemon from that Route to start what I like to call a “trade link chain.”

For example, when I get a Scatterbug, I keep it to evolve it into Vivillon to collect all of the patterns. I have like 7 Scatterbugs XD

Another example, you sent a Pokemon from that Route and you got a Druddigon. Depending on whether you want to keep it, catch another Pokemon from that Route and trade it to start another chain.

Last example, You sent- Spritzee, received Caterpie, sent Caterpie, received Goomy, sent Goomy, received Roselia, sent Roselia, received Xerneas. Keep Xerneas and catch another Pokemon from that Route you chose to start another chain like the one above.

    Happy Wonder Trading!

Like maybe the hasty pokemon can run around a lot, the modest pokemon can act shy, and the sassy pokemon can act like a tsundere *shot*

First I had a female mawile, but during something.. [I think amie?] I later saw it was suddenly a male.. even though I knew it was a girl before because I named it Helena.
Just now, I was making a male sylveon, but then when I looked at its summary again, it’s suddenly a girl!
Am I going crazy or is this really a glitch? o.e

    .
    Diancie, the mineral guardian pokemon
    height, 2’10”
    type: rock/fairy
    .
It is said to be the “pokemon with one thousand eyes”, because it can see into different caves around the world through the minerals in them. It looks small, but only shows its real power to protect the world’s minerals for those who need them.

F Meowstic and Diggersby are sweepers (although Diggersby isn’t the fastest, it does get U-Turn and good coverage moves) Shuckle is for stalling annoyance with Shell Smash Contrary combo. If you look closely at the hedges, you can see the bottom left is Chandelure, the bottom right seems to be Pyroar, and the top right is Solrock. But what does that make the top left? Could this be the location of a future event? Or is it just cool designs to make us play guessing games?

    Reply
    • In a World of 7 billion you’re never the only one. People have different preferances. I find competitive wifi battling a lot of fun. And breeding (for IVs, natures, abilities) just adds a bit of a challenge to an otherwise very easy game. At least that’s how i see it.

      Reply
    • I used to think like that, but to keep up with everyone else, you need good stats. Also when i got into competitive, it was so much fun!

      Reply
      • I don’t seriously think like this btw xD

I’m searching for a near perfect Breloom mainly so my other Breloom can stay on White 2 and continue to dominate the PWT. Otherwise, I mainly use the Pokemon from my in-game team regardless of their IVs because I journeyed with them.

That said, Chaos said it best. We all have our way of doing things.

    • The furthest I am willing to go and still have fun is looking for the right nature. I admit IV make a difference but its too much of a hassle to go through just to get one poke right

    • I will play the game as I always have. For fun. I’m getting into competitive this time around because it seems fun. In game it doesn’t matter but in competitive everyone (or almost everyone) tries to get perfect Pokemon or else you’re going to get left behind and most people will beat you.

Then with power split, you can severely cut your foe’s attack, and with power trick, you can swap your massive defense with your not so pitiful attack.

    Reply
    • Not a big difference between 28 and 31. It’s 3 stat points in whatever stat. And I’m not aiming for perfect Special Attack IVs on Breloom. When I’m saying perfect, I’m just referring to HP, Attack, Defense, Special Defense, and Speed. Since Breloom has no need for Special Attack I just neglect and don’t consider it.

  80. For any one using wonder trade: Please make the world a better place!

If you receive a bidoof, bunelby, zigzaggon, magikarp…..DON’T wonder trade it back into circulation. RELEASE IT. And wonder trade something else. Wonder Trade should be a clean environment free from bidoof, bunelby, zigzaggon, and magikarp.

        • ok, when you breed a pokemon, it actually has a chance of getting the IV’s of the parent. but the odds are low. this is probably done to represent genes, which in the real world we obtain from our parents and ancestors. anyways, this was made easier with diamond and pearl, when the power items were introduced. these items boost the EV’s gained after a battle depending on the item held, but when given to a parent, it’ll pass the corresponding IV to the child, but that’s not all, it also chooses 2 more random IV’s from either parent to pass. do you follow so far?

          • yes, they are available for 16 BP a piece. but that’s actually not the most reliable way to pass IV’s! see, if both parents hold a power item, it’ll randomly choose which activates on the young. not very reliable, right? Fear not! Gamefreak added another effect to one of the other items: The Destiny Knot! normally this hares attraction in battle with the opponent if the holder is attracted. but when a parent holds the item, it randomly chooses 5 IV’s from both parents to pass to the child! this is great, especially with the ease of finding perfect IV’s in the friend safari. if one parent has perfect ATK and DEF and the other has perfect SPE and HP, the baby has a chance of having perfect SPE, HP, ATK, and DEF! by breeding the offspring, you can increase the odds of passing the stats, because he has 4 perfect stats. do you still follow?

          • no they don’t, which brings me to my next point. only one parent needs to hold the destiny knot, which leaves the other parent without an item! this is good opportunity to make it hold an everstone, which makes the offspring have the same nature as the holder. using all these techniques, its quite a lot easier to make a decent pokemon this generation. now, this does ake time, it usually takes me a whole day to get a team ready for EV training and Leveling, but with enough patience, you’ll be making good teams in no time! hope I helped! any more questions?

          • well if you wish to transfer the ability, then you want the mother to have the ability, otherwise, the father can only pass the ability if he is breeding with ditto. this is the only factor that really comes down to chance. one more thing, remember that the knot will take IV’s from both parents. if, say, the father has a good atk stat but the mother does not, it may take her atk stat instead of his. its all just rinse and repeat until you get what you want. patience is key!
