More new Pokémon…?
Currently there are several Mega Stones that have been found, but the Pokémon has not: Druddigon, Heracross, and Galvantula. Profilic Pokémon Black & White leaker “Hiro” also said that Scizor would be getting one too. A legendary trio could also surface in Kalos as well as unseen downloadable Legendaries.
What do you think? Are you OK with the smaller number of “new” Pokémon? Do you like the concept of Mega Evolutions and their role in battles?

I’m just worried, because of the low number of pokemon. and I saw on a forum people talking about them “cutting back on the number of legendaries”. unlike a lot of people I actually like large numbers of legendaries.
Well apparently there are NO MORE new pokemon at all. I doubtful of that, but that’s what the leakers are saying
well Zygarde is #718 which is 69 above 649… and there are exactly 69 pokemon shown here. so it kinda does look that way except for event pokemon that would come after zygarde. sad though, I was hoping for beedrone!

If we were to have gotten 100 + new Pokemon I’m sure there would have been an oddball Pokemon. Who knows what we would have lost if it were for more new Pokemon. Maybe character customization? Pokemon-Amie?
If there aren’t a lot of new legendaries, well than maybe they still have to be distributed or are unlocked by an event. Everyone complained about a lot of legendaries in Gen 4 and Gen 5. Now we have less and everyone still complains! Game Freak listened and they acted on what they heard/saw.
Quality > Quantity a million times. I’m happy with the direction they are taking.
except we have an oddball pokemon…. it’s name is binacle :P, but I agree there is so much to do in this game and I for one am very excited about character customization and pokemon amie :3
It has a badass evolution though.
it does, I won’t use it personally because i’m more into the cute pokemon then that, (there are exceptions obviously though) but still, it doesn’t bother me as much as mr. mime will always haunt my dreams 😛

its evolution reminds me of something from spongebob for some reason 😛 and yes it does look better than its first stage
binnacle isn’t exactly an odd ball because it evolved and got better. wasn’t honedge an odd ball at one point

Just my opinion I guess 😛 , I honestly won’t use either of them, honedge or binnacle, I never go for pokemon based on stats or anything, I only pick the ones that I like in terms of looks, they just are not pretty enough for me 😛 (Would love to see honedge in a spin off game though where you could wield it or something)
I don’t think many people are complaining about the lack of legendaries, I think I’m just in the minority for wanting more of them. I do think a lot of people are being a pain though by saying the starter evos suck.
I have seen a lot of people complain. D: I agree, if you don’t like them don’t use them.
Exactly, GF wanted to push the quality and overall scale of a pokemon game. The pokemon of a generation dont exactly define the quality of a generation.
They really made up for it with the graphics and things they added like idle animations (e.g. stretching or yawning when standing in a place for a long time). Lumiose City looks amazing and the people actually walk into their houses and not walk back and forth. 😀
The attention to detail seems to be absolutely amazing and the fact we get to see a majority of our old favorites in a different way could suffice as its own game. The only thing that worries me is the light Postgame

The quality is bad because of the video, not because of the game, BTW.

Why do you think that is the case? We know file size of the games, and we know it isn’t taking up all of the space available. It’s large, but there have been larger games for the 3DS and it could have fit more things.
I don’t understand the argument that there is this balance between new features and new Pokemon. Why would the ability to sit on a bench require that two or three Pokemon be cut from the roster. Is it taking up that much code?
And sure you can’t please everyone, but this isn’t really an old argument. This is the first time ever we’ve had a new game with less than 100+, just 34 species. We’ve never been here before, and it undoubtably will result in a lack of variety in options.

I would keep Heliolisk but replace Charizard with a fairy type (id go with sylveon or florges) since you already have a fire/flying with talonflame and a dragon type (if youre using Mega X) with goodra so charizard is slightly redundant. However if you were to stick with charizard i would then suggest replacing talonflame at least.

Sylveon? You have to max out its affection in Pokemon Amie by feeding it and playing with it. Once affection is maxed out it will evolve upon level up which means essentially you can get it very early on in the game 🙂

Hmm. If your going to get Charizard then don’t use Talonflame! Since you seem you would want to use Talonflame! I recommend going for Venusaur as your Kanto Starter. Heliolisk would be helpful for taking down flying types! So, I recommend doing those changes!

this may be the wrong place to ask this, but what does sharing friend codes do? battling wise and trading related, I mean. i never bothered to share friend codes with anyone 🙁
People/3DS friends playing X & Y appear on your PSS. You can battle and trade with them almost instantly (easily). You can give O-Powers, etc.

It’s really easy. In your 3ds start menu you see an orange smiley on the upper right corner. That is where you can add friends.

Friend codes, aren’t supposed to be posted it. They should be posted in the Friend code, Jungle Talk. Not, trying to be mean or anything! Yet, in X & Y you can trade, battle, and share O-Powers. Also, you can connect with the PSS too!
