More new Pokémon…?

Currently there are several Mega Stones that have been found, but the Pokémon has not: Druddigon, Heracross, and Galvantula. Profilic Pokémon Black & White leaker “Hiro” also said that Scizor would be getting one too. A legendary trio could also surface in Kalos as well as unseen downloadable Legendaries.

What do you think? Are you OK with the smaller number of “new” Pokémon? Do you like the concept of Mega Evolutions and their role in battles?

  7. Alright question time. If you could be a gym leader, what type would your be (earthenwarrior I know yours) and what would u look like?

      I would totally wear something like a witch/wizard’s outfit, the gym would be wonderfully spooky, with spiderwebs and all, and Pumpkaboos….Pumpkaboos everywhere…..

    • Water Type of course.
      “The Majestic Underwater Explorer”
      Styling some Canvas Shoes, Beach Shorts, Blue shirt. Think Australian influence.
      My Gym would be an underwater tank involving a battle that only water pokemon can participate in. (i’ve loved this idea ever since that scene in Pokemon 3 the movie when Misty battles Mollie underwater.).
      If i was Choosing a team of 3 then it would be:
      Starmie
      Ludicolo
      Kingdra
      Id award the Dive Badge which would be an Anchor infused into a water cascade.
      I would also award TM?? Aqua Pulse which is a move that does 70 damage normally with 95% accuracy but doubles in power when used underwater but goes down to 80% accuracy.

    • Fighting type for sure.

      I’d probably look like myself, but I’d be in light boxing gear. Gloves, T-shirt, Loose shorts.

      My team would consist of fast, lithe Fighting types. Combusken, Monferno, Sawk, Breloom, Mienfoo, Primeape, that sort of thing.

      I could imagine being a 3rd/4th/5th Gym. Somewhere in the middle. Have Mienfoo, Combusken and Primeape as my team. Primeape as my ace, but my Combusken is my best friend and the one who spends his whole time outside of his Pokeball following me, a la Pikachu. I’d add Monferno to the list if I were to have four Pokemon.

    • I would be a fairy type leader. I would have a gardevior, mawile, slurpuff, and a floette.
      My badge would be the Fae badge

    • I don’t think I’d have a specific type. Probably be the last gym leader and make sure that the trainer is mentally prepared. Probably would give the Mentality Badge.

  14. Alright gardevoir is a blessing. I wanted a Psychic on my team and there was no fairy type pokemon that I like enough to use. And it gets a sick Mega Evolution. But now I think I have to catch a girl one.

  17. Hey, could anyone more familiar with this help me out?
    I preordered from Game in the UK. On an email they sent, it says it will be available on the 12th as you would expect.
    But when I go to track my order, its status is “SHIPPED”. Could someone clarify? Is it possible it will be delivered early?

    • No, since it shipped this early in the week, I’m assuming it’s being transported by ground. Although it’s still possible that an early delivery happens, it’s not likely.

        • From my limited knowledge I’d assume so. It’s probably being shipped early to arrive in your location on time, and it will be distributed on the 12th.

          • No problem! I prefer to pick up my copy myself to ensure I actually get it on time, because sometimes there are problems with deliveries and all that stuff. However shipping works really well if you’re very lazy! 😛

    • Depending on the delivery method you might get the game tomorrow or thursday if its first class. But i would think Friday at the latest if t has been shipped. GAME often send new games early, i got the XY 3DS XL 2 days early when i ordered from GAME 😀

            I’d wanted to just go into the store and buy it without preordering for ages, so I held off. But then I saw the Pokeball game case, so…

  19. I seriously hope that there is more pokemon. This cant be all of them, 69 pokemon with the inclusion of 18 mega evolutions. Probably most of the pokemon we’ll see are from past generations…Ugh. But on the bright side, just a few more days till i can go buy it.

      Actually, finding shinies for me makes me like a Pokemon better, even in its normal version!

        • How many shinies do you have?
          Cause Mime Jr was my second ever, so I was pretty pleased!
          Or maybe the shininess causes you to re-evaluate a Pokemon you wouldn’t normally look at, finding its innate awesomeness/cuteness. Or lack thereof.

          • My first shinies caught were:

            Diamond: Octillery Skuntank
            SS: Tangela and caught pokerus in this game
            Pt: none(caught Pokerus though)
            BW: Pidove(early in game), Mandibuzz, Frillish
            BW2: none(Gible if you want to count it)

            Now, its like I don’t really care about shinies anymore though.

          • My first shinies were in Diamond:
            Weepinbell
            Mime Jr. <3
            Then in Platinum I got a Shiny Gible. Yeah, before BW2 made it not rare anymore.
            And in SS I saw a shiny Bellsprout in the Safari Zone. It fled.
            So random shinies are still a deal for me 🙂

          • And also I was playing emerald on ROM this summer and Kyogre was being a b*tch to catch. I ran out of pokeballs and it kept hurting itself with Double Edge. I had to restart so many times that I encountered a shiny one, but of course it kept using Double Edge and killed itself -___-

          • Be thankful it wasn’t on the real cartridge I guess!
            It was only a Bellsprout, but I was still mad when it fled!
            And when I was catching the others, I was so scared that I’d run out of Pokeballs or something. Trying to catch a Mime Jr. 😛

            GSC: Scyther, Caterpie.Metapod/Butterfree and Sentret/Furret
            RSE: Skitty/Delcatty…I think a shiny corsola once too.
            DPT: Shinx/Luxio/Luxray (My first shinx encounter ever!) and Buneary/Lopunny
            BW: Audino and Petilil/Lilligant

          • I went 2 Gens without getting any shinies, and the lack of them beforehand made the eventual encounter that much better!
            When you eventually come across one it will have more value for you than for someone who found loads!

          • In Chronological Order:

            1. FR: Voltorb (caught)
            2. FR: Voltorb (I ran away)
            3. LG: Primape (fainted)
            4. My bro’s FR (which was mine before I reset it): Weedle (caught; early in the game)
            5. B: Patrat (fainted; early in the game)
            6. B: Delibird (caught)

          • I only fainted two. I just ran away from the second voltorb because I thought there was no point since I already had the first one. I didn’t know about shinies at the time.

            Primeape was at a low level compared to my party members, and I did not have a lot of Pokéballs. I was not prepared to catch any Pokémon. That and it wouldn’t get caught at full health. That is when I vowed to ALWAYS have a lot of Pokéballs ready!

            Patrat was early in the game. My Snivy got a Critical Hit on his first move. 🙁

          • Quick Balls are really great! Don’t know what I would have done without them (ie in gen3)!
            Also, most early game Pokemon don’t have to be weakened to have a big chance of catching them. Ah well, I would have prob tried to attack too 🙁

          • That is why theQuick Ball is my favorite Pokéball of all time! That and I love its design and animation. That’s why I’m so jealous that Tesco is distributing them in the UK!

          • My shiny Pokemon in chronological order:

            1. Pidgy, Heartgold
            2. Gastrodo, Platinum
            3. Luxray, Platinum
            4. Patrat, Black
            5. Axew, White
            6. Sigilyph, Black

          • My first ever was a Ratticate on Platinum. That route above the Fight Area.

            I think my next was a Cubchoo on my White version. I’ve also caught a Darumaka on either Black or White.

            I then also have the event Suicune and the recent creation trio, as well as the HeartGold Gyarados and BW2 Haxorus.

            I also have a few less legitimate ones. Pokecheck. I mainly use them for breeding purposes though (the hidden abilities).

      • Chatot is one of my favorite shinies, despite his uselessness in battle. He’s so great and colorful!

        Random comment, but I just got an email that there was a gunshot report on my campus… scary… I’d best stay in my room and look for Pokemon leaks instead of going out for a walk…
