More new Pokémon…?
Currently there are several Mega Stones that have been found, but the Pokémon has not: Druddigon, Heracross, and Galvantula. Profilic Pokémon Black & White leaker “Hiro” also said that Scizor would be getting one too. A legendary trio could also surface in Kalos as well as unseen downloadable Legendaries.
What do you think? Are you OK with the smaller number of “new” Pokémon? Do you like the concept of Mega Evolutions and their role in battles?

I’m honestly surprised I haven’t had the urge to look at the plot spoilers; I don’t care if I see every legendary or every character in the game, as long as I get to play the game without exactly knowing what it’s about just makes it 10 times better! 😀

Could I be right that GF really will create Mega Pikachu? If so, then it would makes sense to upgrade the mascot temporarily, since mega evolution only occurs in battle. Imagine Ash’s Pikachu mega evolving in the anime.

but on the topic of sky battles what happens if you use gravity in one?

I hate how people complain about how Vivillon is so weak, when it does the purpose that every early bug does- it evolves early to help you out for the first few gyms, and then it falls in usefulness when your others evolve. It’s just like the Jaigen (Or Frederick) in Fire Emblem.

Just saw the pokemon x and y commercial and they had a skybattle between Charizard and Flygon. They never removed the shadows from the regular battle; they just changed the surrounding.

We can’t be positive, but I’d assume so. GF has never introduced a battle mechanic and then dropped it completely (sometimes they alter it, but never truly drop it).

i ordered mines from future shop last week and i hope to get it friday since thanksgiving is this weekend… never used EB games before, but the arrival might friday because of thanksgiving 🙂

Do all the rivals battle you or is it just shauna and serena?
I know Serena/Calem will battle you often, and that Shauna will battle you occasionally. And I believe Tierno will battle you sometimes aswell. Haven’t heard anything about Trevor, though…

I pre ordered mines and got an email saying it was dispatched today so it should come either tomorrow or Thursday. I live in the UK and a few online retailers have to send them out early to ensure release date delivery.

Why Corphish? That seems odd. Why not Marill?
I think Corphish because it is playful and Tierno wants a dance troop of pokemon ( i fully expect a Ludicolo and will be very annoyed if this isn’t the case). Why do you think Marill?
Marill is more popular. But yeah, he does scream ludicolo!
Seems odd Trevor would recieve the most popular/well known pokemon where as Tierno would recieve the pre-evo of the 3rd/4th least know pokemon in RSE,
Chimecho at 41.3%, Crawdaunt at 41.1%, Corphish at 41.1%, Whiscash at 39.2%, and Barboach at 38.8%

That’s exactly why i believe he got it. If anything this Gen definitely seems like it is aimed at breathing new life into those pokemon forgotten or not utilised to their full potential in their respective generations. Plus its a throwback to Ash’s corphish in the anime who used to join Brock when he did those weird dance things with ludicolo.
Do ou know how early we can get corphish.
