More new Pokémon…?

Currently there are several Mega Stones that have been found, but the Pokémon has not: Druddigon, Heracross, and Galvantula. Profilic Pokémon Black & White leaker “Hiro” also said that Scizor would be getting one too. A legendary trio could also surface in Kalos as well as unseen downloadable Legendaries.

What do you think? Are you OK with the smaller number of “new” Pokémon? Do you like the concept of Mega Evolutions and their role in battles?

  1. Weren’t there 40 megas instead of just 18?
    I also read somewhere about Gamefreak stating there would be 80~100 new Pokémon instead of just 69?

    • I don’t have a problem with caving into spoilers other than the Pokemon themselves . It’s something about them where I can’t wait until the games.

  5. Question to everyone who pre-ordered/reserved a copy of Pokemon X and/or Y.

    The receipt I was given says,”Pokemon Y SD” What does the “SD” mean?

    Does it mean I’m going to get a download code instead of a physical copy?

    • There’s more chances of you getting it. You just put 5 dollars down and pay the rest when you go get the game. Or you can pay in full and when you go get it you just get it. If you go a day later there might be a chance that it’s out of stock so it’s better to pre-order.

    • I believe there’s been a leak of the entire story or at least the important parts..I caught a few pictures and one thing that sounds rather big but I’ve stopped it at that..I don’t want to spoil myself anymore!

  14. Ok, I have to get this off my chest. Whether regarding story or new pokemon, spoilers are spoilers and if you don’t want to see spoilers, stay away from the spoiler section. What’s so hard about this simple, logical concept to grasp? It’s like being afraid of sharks, voluntarily jumping into a shark tank, and then whining because hey, there are sharks in there. Well no shit, Sherlock. Maybe just don’t jump into the shark tank in the first place, rather than wasting your time and ours moaning and ruining all the fun for those of us who are quite happy in the shark tank (which I might add is one of the few places we are actually allowed to freely swim with sharks, because much of the internet is shark-free). And for those of you (and there are many) jumping into the shark tank and then demanding to only see certain kinds of shark – I’m sorry that this might come as a bit of a shock, but the world doesn’t revolve around you. Should you choose to jump into the shark tank please accept that there are all kinds of shark in there, so if you know in advance that there are certain ones you don’t want to see, perhaps give the shark swimming a miss altogether. Everyone will be a lot happier that way.

      • I like to have people like Jordin around and even though I want to discuss some spoilers, I think that I’d rather have them here to talk to instead of going all out with the spoilers. Yeah, include some sort of spoiler warning (like Dicie was last night) and maybe they can stay here and spoil some without spoiling too much. I’ve come back here just to get a link to the list of all the Pokemon and accidentally seen some things completely unintentionally, and while I don’t mind it, I’m sure others do.

    • The only time any of these spoilers have annoyed me was when someone last night was posting every single picture that was describing the backstory. Seriously? I get feeling how you feel, but do you really have to post every picture instead of just linking to it?

    • I think many people would still like to talk with the community here, but at the same time don’t want to be spoiled. Can’t there be some sort *SPOILER WARNING* in the comment before posting it?
      Not that it matters to me anyways, when I saw the story stuff being posted, I bolted lol.

    • I said that im going to spoil myself ONLY with the new pokemon and now i want to avoid spoilers but sometimes i catching myself scrolling down, 3 more days and some hours to wait.

    • This spoiler section was mainly for the new pokemon, not the story. The world doesn’t resolve around the ones that want to be spoiled either.

    • You still have to respect the people that don’t want to be spoiled in some way though. Like seriously, a few days ago I saw people deliberately spoiling specific people who specifically said they didnt want to be spoiled which isnt cool.

    • Not all people assume that comments mean “spoilers”. You know what? They’re COMMENTS, not spoilers. The comments are “meant” to be commenting on the article above. This one is about the Kalos dex Pokemon. So naturally, if you came here and whined about knowing what all the Kalos Pokemon were, then yeah, I wouldn’t have much sympathy. That is an example of the shark tank metaphor you’re referring to. But coming here and seeing plot spoilers when you don’t want to? That’s more like walking into a Fish tank without knowing that there’s a shark in there. And then suddenly the shark is there. Now to a degree, I agree with you, there is an element of using your common sense. a Fish tank might have a shark in it. But equally, maybe you like the other fishes and want to look at them, but want to stay away form the sharks. Or maybe you genuinely don’t expect a shark to be in the tank.

      The least people could do is alert people that they are about spoilers. If it’s an image, link to it with a clear “SPOILERS” tag. If it’s text, either hide it behind a “Read More” with a clear “SPOILERS” at the top, or if you’re a little lazier, then label “SPOILERS” at the top of your post and then write the sentence directly below. It also helps if you detail what your spoilers are about, because some people don’t mind Pokemon spoilers but hate plot spoilers. So like “NEW POKEMON REVEALED” if it’s a Pokemon, or “PLOT SPOILERS BELOW” if it’s plot spoilers.

      I don’t think I’m asking for too much. Just a tiny bit of common courtesy is all.

      • I would love for people to do this, but when I asked this before I got called ‘selfish’ I wasn’t trying to be selfish, but I am just asking to do the spoiler tag on articles that don’t have spolier in the name. I think it is too late now for anything to be changed I just thought you had a great point. I do have a question, was I being selfish?

    • It’s pretty hard to be on PokeJungle this last week what with every article being consumed with spoilers and only some people talking about the articles topic, for the past few days however we have gone without plot spoilers but all of a sudden we get plot spoilers. We didn’t get that with Kanpachi or Zar but we now get them from Josh when he wasn’t even going to put anything about the story and I kind of blame 4chan for persuading him into leaking the story. If you want to talk about a spoiler that’s fine but at least mention that its a spoiler so those that want to remain spoiler free don’t have to whine and downvote.

    • A few people are saying that if you get the download version you *might* be able to save it to an SD card, then put in another SD card and re-download the game, thus having multiple save files. However this is unconfirmed and when tried with Animal Crossing save files were deleted, so don’t hold your breath for it unfortunately.

    • No! Here’s the reason why: It lowers the value of Pokemon games! Having multiple saves would make the games cheaper and less cost effective! For example, let’s say a family of 5 (3 kids) gets X. They can just buy one game, because of the 3 save files! Then, Pokemon isn’t getting as much money as they needed! Also, the space on the GameCard isn’t that large to save more than 1 file!

    • Either the 6th or 7th gym area… I remember Josh looking for one recently. What I want to know is how soon you get Honedge and Clauncher.

      Edit: Also, they’re around 60 in the Mountain Dex, so that’s early in the late-game.

  24. So the “Electric” field-effect thing is that like a new weather or battle condition?
    And does anyone know the implications/effects it has on battle?

          • I actually don’t mind gyms that much..actually what am I talking about? These past few days have revealed almost everything there is to know about them!
            Though I don’t want to see anything story related, that’s for sure!

    • It’s a move. It’s similar to weather being that you can create it via the move. It boosts Electric-Type attacks! So, I would say it’s more like weather, than a simple battle condition!
