All of the New Pokémon in Pokémon X&Y

New Pokémon

Notes: The image above was not made by me. It came from either 4chan’s /vp/ board or Reddit. Props to the creator, it is very well done.

More new Pokémon…?

Currently there are several Mega Stones that have been found, but the Pokémon has not: Druddigon, Heracross, and Galvantula. Profilic Pokémon Black & White leaker “Hiro” also said that Scizor would be getting one too. A legendary trio could also surface in Kalos as well as unseen downloadable Legendaries.

What do you think? Are you OK with the smaller number of “new” Pokémon? Do you like the concept of Mega Evolutions and their role in battles?

  1. got a problem guys… my team originally had a goodra, however, once dragalge’s type was leaked, I saw my team had 2 dragons and replaced it with aegislash. but my wanting of a goodra is far more overpowering than my ocd… what should I do?

  2. Pokemon Y: Chespin, Charmander (both Megas), Amaura, Sylveon, Honedge, and a water type. Any good water type available in this game, maybe Golduck?

Pokemon X: Fennekin, Squirtle, Tyrantrum, Swirlix, Furfrou, and Gogoat.

    Suggestions?

  4. I was debating if I should take a Kanto starter or not since I usually don’t take Pokémon from other gens, but If I don’t, I would envy every trainee who mega evolves their Pokèmon in the story, so I finally came with a desision. My team will consist of:
    -Greninja
    -Talonflame
-Mega Venusaur (I took Squirtle on Kanto)
    -Dragalgae
    -Heliolisk
    -Goodra
I know I have repeated types.

  8. I just had a strange thought. Vote up or down based on how believable you think it is. I find it strange that ONLY 2 stores broke the release date and that it’s been practically a week and no new leakers have surfaced.

I do not think that this whole game was made as a fake to distract people. But do you think it’s possible these games are prototypes. As in they’re incomplete. That’s why there are less Pokemon, little post-game, and gap generation evolutions?

I’m not usually the type to come up with conspiracy theories I just find something very strange here. GF has been going legendary crazy these past couple gens, why stop now? They are what fuel the TV specials and movies and they are very much needed for business and marketing reasons. Thoughts?

    • What I think happened is that the leaks we’ve had are where the leaker knew an employee and so their friend sold them the game against the rules, rather than the entire store. It seems like that’s what happened with Kosthedin.
Also, why ship a prototype, lol

      • I don’t think they’re fake cause they look amazing !! I just think they may be incomplete. As in the programming wasn’t finished. He did say there were quite a few doors he couldn’t enter.

    • This is not a Far-Fetched idea, (bwuhuhu), but also quite unrealistic. The amount of planning, resources, and logistics needed to plan, implement, and conduct a “anti-leak Facade” would be unfeasible from a monetary and business standpoint. Only the most Adamant Prankster would do something like that.

      • k thanks for your input. Everyone told me I was wrong and in fool’s paradise when I said that Chespin would be the fighting and froakie would be dark, but my theory was correct so I’ll hold on to this one as well.

    • That’s an insane theory, to be quite honest. There’s no possible way Game Freak would both purposefully design a fake, incomplete version of the games AND know exactly which stores to distribute them to. This sounds like something cooked up by a person disappointed that there aren’t that many new Pokemon and desperate for there to be more.

  9. you ppl have no point, GF isn’t few ppl company, they have alot ppl to work
at 3d models so this is bullshit, if there is no mega evolutions for all other
starters with thier XY forms, and, if there will be only up to 90 new monsters instead of 100-130-150

  10. Anyone else want to put some feedback in?

    Greninja
    Dragalge
    Florges
    Malamar
    Ampharos (MEGA HAIR BAND ACTION)

    Vivillon/Klefki/Gourgeist/Noivern/Aromatisse

    • Noivern is sadly end game so its an instant no. If you want a good team, I say try to keep 1 type of each and no doubles. so Honestly I like your set up, but you COULD use a fire type, so I;d say add in Fletchling if your into it 😉

      Reply
      • I know I could, but I told myself I wouldn’t be super picky about type and just go for looks, I’ll probably do klefki if I find out more about it, so there’s at least steel, but gourgeist would be good too :/ ARGH

          • Ok so in my recommendation, and seeing your set how about this: Froakie, Mareep, Gourgeist, Klefki, Litleo, and Aerodctyl (I know its old BUT its good now). So what you think?

          • Pretty good, The only one I’m not a huge fan of is litleo, not much for good fire besides the starter and I don’t like it either, lol, but I do like aerodactyl, I always have one for just in case in my games

  11. i come back and find a mega agron!!! more reason for me to get that pokemon bank and transfer my aggron from my black2 team!

    • Heliolisk- Will give you the coverage against water types that will destroy your delphox and tyrantrum (i know its dragon too and will take neutral but tyrantrum seems to be a letdown according to leakers) as well as stall your blastoise. Plus you can reap the rewards of Normal STAB for those early moves like Return and Take Down etc
Aegislash- Gives you a defensive beast which at the moment you lack. Plus Ghost/Steel is a pretty decent typing and gives you excellent coverage against the new Fairy type which will attempt to destroy Tyrantrum as well as cover you against Psychic’s, Rock and other Ghost types etc
Sylveon- The leaks are making the newest eeveelution seem like an absolute beast! Great defensive stats as well as a powerful special offence is an exciting combo and with it being Fairy type you can make great use of it against Dragon, Fighting and Dark types which you don’t really have any coverage for yet bar tyrantrum for dragons but thats risky since it also takes SE damage. Plus the dragon immunity is unique and will serve greatly in the E4. You don’t have to go with Sylveon as your fairy (Florges and Aromatisse could be valid choices) but so far it seems like it is proudly sitting atop of the Fairy monarchy and i definitely think a Fairy will round out your team nicely.

    • It’s MY theory that the leakers are only playing a beta version. But if they are the real deal then I guess this is all we have. They have the national dex and have done the math so this is real. But it’s quality of quantity so i don’t mind this.

        • Yes but i don’t believe it, no one puts that much effort into a fake …. you probably think i sound like a broken record though XD

          • The reviewers (while generally trustworthy) don’t seem to be too knowledgeable in the poké-verse. He might have gotten confused with Carbink.

          • Which is a Rock/Fairy, so they’re easily confused (just like Brock seems to be confused about what type of trainer he is, using many more Ground types than Rock ones).

          • I’m honestly happy with what we have though … I’m probably just coming up with this because I want to cling to the idea of a Dragon Eeveelution. It just makes logical sense after we had Sylveon and GF usually makes sense. Just 5 more days until we discover the truth though!

          • I’m a bit dissapointed with the number of pokemon for me isn pokemon quantity is quality. I not refer the design of the pokemon. I only train the ones i like, I’m not of that people who make a competive team. I try to make the more stronger possible, but I’m more of breeder. Training only the ones i like. 🙂

  12. Team: Y
Braixen (I may not evolve it lol)
    Blaziken
    Dargalge
    Absol (Mega)
    Noivern
Charizard (Mega Y until I get an Absol Nite)

    Team: X
    Greninja
    Floette
    Mawile (Mega)
    Aurorus
    Goodra
    Gogoat

I have a tendency to use not fully evolved Pokemon lol.

    Reply
    • Team Y: You have quite a bit of Fire-Types! I could see Blaziken becoming a Fighting-Type user on your team! Also, Charizard being maybe the main Fire-Type! That defeats the purpose of Braixen. I would recommend just putting it away and using a Psychic-Type!

Team X: Good Team! Yet, your going to need a Flying-Type!

      Reply
      • I may move Aurorus for Talonflame if it proves more useful.

For Braixen, Drought from M.Charizard Y makes it an awesome special hitter (if I evolve it xD)

  13. I am not angry but I am also not happy. Need more than 60-70 new Pokemon for the transition to 3DS. It seems the story line is about mega evolutions which is boring. If I was in charge of a new pokemon game I would make sure to have enough new pokemon for variety, 2nd and 3rd evolutions for pokemon that need it. Can someone tell me the “real” point behind mega evo’s? I would implement mega evo’s in my game only if it changed it’s type and nature to really throw the opposition off, turn a weakness into a strength, only one of ur pokemon can megavolve per match so choose wisely.

  14. Now we can do a grass/fire/water core ghost monotype team!
    Treeverent/Gougiest, Chandelure, Jellicent

Who would you add as for the other three ghosts?
I would use Froslass, Gengar, Mismagius.
