More new Pokémon…?
Currently there are several Mega Stones that have been found, but the Pokémon has not: Druddigon, Heracross, and Galvantula. Profilic Pokémon Black & White leaker “Hiro” also said that Scizor would be getting one too. A legendary trio could also surface in Kalos as well as unseen downloadable Legendaries.
What do you think? Are you OK with the smaller number of “new” Pokémon? Do you like the concept of Mega Evolutions and their role in battles?

I thought Druddigon, Galvantula, and Heracross mega stones were unconfirmed? There’s been no photos of them in the bag at all, unlike Aerodactyl’s mega stone. Plus, I recall hearing that Heracross at the very least seems to have been found by at least one leaker?
And hasn’t Hiro said a few wrong things about this gen so far too? I mean, I bet we’ll get Mega Scizor simply because it’s popular and already a really good pokemon, but I don’t know that Hiro actually knows anything about anything this gen.

But the final form has green spots and green eyes! Such a confusing line… To me it looks like goomy’s eyes are the black spots, then his first evo the green spots, then the final evo neither xD

anyone have a Dex entry or stats of (uh) Binacle and Barbarcle…
You guys forgot to put 3 more pokemon: Noibat (Noivern pre evo), Zygrade, and Mega Gardevoir. This is the complete list I found from serebii. A question though, iff bubblix is fake, what make you guys think that it is? I mean, the layout is the same with the other leak, why do you think they’re not fake but Bubblix is fake?

The Bubblix screenshot has inconsistencies, besides the poor grammar in the Pokedex Entry, the Dark Symbol marker is completely the wrong color, extremely noticeably the wrong color, it’s just black, where it’s always been a dark brown. As far as everything else, we’ve been seeing them in more than one screen shot and one pose, we’ve been seeing in battle, different angles, Bubblix was always from one shot angle, on top of the other things that are wrong with it..
:/ still looks fine to me! only time will tell! 4 MORE DAYS!
Bubblix’s Pokedex slot (in the region that the fake screen says it is in) is taken by Krookodile.
EDIT: Also, the other leaks came from reliable sources. Bubblix came from a random /vp/ user.
In my opinion we need more pokemon but not so much like in BW

Small selection, but a good one. There’s always heaps of filler I’ll likely never use anyway, so as long as there’s some quality ‘mons in there (and there really are some quality ‘mons), I’m happy. Hoping for a few more cool megas, though.
Personal favourites? Chesnaut, Greninja, Dragalgae, Clawitzer, Tyrantrum, Goodra, Klefki. Least favourites? Armomatisee, Gourgeist, Avalugg.
I’m not gonna lie and say I’m happy with it, would’ve liked there to be 100 Pokemon, but ya know what? I’ve managed to make a team for both X and Y with no overlapping types, so I’m good
And I do like a lot of the designs so I’m not that bothered

Yeah I’m more than happy with this amount of Pokémon. We already have hundreds of awesome Pokémon available to catch and train. Most of the older Pokémon outshine the new ones in 3D anyway. Less is more, and given some of the designs of the new Pokémon, I’m glad they didn’t try to make anymore. Could have gotten ugly. No need for filler.
From what i see generally everyone like for the most part, all of the pokemon.
Keep in mind that its speculated that both this game and B/W were worked on at the same time. So some of B/W’s pokemon could of been thought of for Kalos.
Yeah I mean last gen I liked maybe 10 or 20 of all the pokemon and was indifferent about most, but this gen there is only one pokemon I really hate.
At least to me it is a huge improvement
*Refresh4pics* More pokemon to ride, new cool move and team flare admin (with glorious 3d model may I add ^_^) Sorry if they’ve been posted already 😮 Anyways I’m actually fine with the new amount of pokemon this gen after the huge amount we got with Gen 5 this kinda balances it out, and the pokedex is huge anyways (around 450 all three?) and there’s so many new features when I get the game I shouldn’t really be thinking about how many new ‘mons there are 🙂

Huh, another type changing ability. Though, this says ADDS. Does that mean it may not outright replace it, but just add the secondary type to Ghost?
Probably. This seems like a great move. It’s like instant super-effective. It will be a great replacement for the Soak+Lanturn strategy.
I’m slightly disappointed with the number of newbies, but X and Y have had so much work put into them; the models, the social features, battles, customization, it all makes up for the small number of new pokemon. It makes it seem like a completely different game. I would’ve preferred about a hundred or so, but after having so many new ones for gen 5 it would be difficult to think of a lot of new ones so quickly. If we do get Hoenn remakes in the next year, I would hope that with the coming of gen 7 we will get A LOT more than this.

I think someone just made it based off of the rumors. We still don’t know much about the games.
No attempt at balancing the metagame? So Fairy type, changes to Steel resistances, and stealth rock nerfs count for nothing then? The 3rd pokemon game (the yellows, crystals, emeralds, platinums, and part 2s) are always typically improved versions of the games before them. Expect it to be better for sure, but that doesnt mean X and Y are bad. Why do people who insist they hate the game still spending all their time focusing on it?
How much you bet there’ll be a Pokemon Coal and Pokemon Sand. (Diamond and Pearl prequels)
I pretty much agree with this. I would have loved more newbies than we have, because I absolutely loved how full Unova’s dex was, but equally, the gigantic leaps in Gameplay that X&Y are bringing outweigh that disadvantage somewhat. Additionally, looking at the pattern or previous generations, it makes sense that Gen 6, an even Gen, has fewer new Pokemon, as traditionally they tend to focus more on older Pokemon and Gameplay, whereas odd gens are the ones with less new gameplay and visuals, but more totally new Pokemon and a richer storyline. I’m therefore expecting Gen 7 to be the one with the big dex. But enough of that. That’s the future. Let’s enjoy the present, and what X&Y will bring to Pokemon: a hell of a lot.
Yeah. It brings more than people think. I think the reason there are so few this gen is so we can gets used to the new gameplay with fairies and moves and such.

Why you guys think that the new pokemon are only those in the list. I’m sure there’s a lots of more and Nintendo wants us to explore and find them by ourselves.
The reason is because there are only a few spots left in the pokedex according to the leakers, and most of them are just evolutions of previous pokemon. Unfortunatly, that’s the reason, but I actually am glad they put effort into the pokemon. Although I think they could of spent more time, because I’m sure a lot of fans wouldn’t mind. But, I can’t wait for these games..
I wish we got new evos of past pokemon, and not just megas.

Are you sure? because everything i’ve seen so far is just the very large Kalos dex. There are 450 pokes in the Kalos dex, which is MASSIVE for a regional dex but there are approx 718 pokes in existence so they must have a national dex still
