When Mega Evolutions were revealed a couple of months back, fans were taken totally by surprise wondering what exactly we were being shown. Now that we understand just what Mega Evolutions are, we’re all guessing what Pokémon could be one of the select few to receive a Mega Evolution.
A while ago our close friend AAPF began researching trademark filings for Pokémon names. This research has previously uncovered Pokémon that have since received Mega Evolutions, and it seems highly likely that more Pokémon from this list will receive a Mega Evolution.
The following Pokémon have all had trademark registrations made for their names since the release of Black 2 & White 2, following the trend of other Pokémon with their names trademarked again there is a possibility these Pokémon will receive Mega Evolutions. Pokémon with a * next to their name have recently been confirmed.
- Gengar*
- Jynx
- Gyarados*
- Scizor
- Tyranitar
- Gardevoir*
- Medicham
- Banette
- Abomasnow*
- Kyogre
- Kecleon
- Latias
- Latios
- Pinsir
- Aerodactyl*
- Houndoom
- Groudon
- Aggron
- Plusle
- Minun
- Sceptile
- Rayquaza
- Absol*
- Heracross
It should be mentioned that this list is not a definitive list of Pokémon that could receive Mega Pokémon, that actual list could be a lot larger, or significantly smaller and we won’t find out until the games release. What Pokémon do you want to receive a Mega Evolution? Let us know!

It’s not that hard to avoid story leaks if you want to by just scrolling away. I know team flare’s leaders name but nothing else about the team, I know who the champion is (and it’s not worth hiding anyway), but I don’t know any unrevealed gym leaders or E4 or anyone’s teams, so I’m happy.
And I won’t say a word. I swear. 😀
Why thank you :).
Anytime. 😀
i dont see the champion E4 and gym leaders as spoilers since the usually contribute nothing to the story.
Yeah, but the characterisation is fun. I know a name or two now, but no type or pic, so I’m safe.
i see.
You also don’t know the personalities of them too so you have that too 🙂
If these leakers use AR, THEN we would know everything!
-assuming that there was an AR for the 3DS
There is. It’s also compatible with DS games
imma find it..then. imma buy it +_+
Speaking of AR, we get some event items using the AR codes now too, first one is in the UK, get 10 free Quick balls 😀
He meant Action Replay, lol. I hope the USA gets something like that too.
It’s 12 actually.
That is even better, I hope the US get’s something like it lol
No codes yet…?
you mean the one that doesnt exist?
it exists
not for the 3ds.
Yes it does I saw it at wal mart
u can buy evolution stone!
Who confirmed this?
josh refresh
Only the Venusaur Mega Stone is confirmed, not anything else.
read it Evolution Stone store
thats kinda vague though
Oh. That makes MORE sense, thanks for pointing it out.
Evolution or Mega?
u find mega stones but u can buy vensaurite for 500k
Josh said he thinks you can buy the mega stone for the kanto starter that’s good against yours..
What happened? Did the story leak? I saw a comment saying that the game was ruined for them.
I dont know anymore
People keep mentioning small details that are actually quite interesting and others are getting upset.
Are they major spoilers of the story? Could you tell me one of the small details? I don’t want to know about the story though.
I dunno what to believe anymore…
same here
i dont beilve ur dicie
Why? The mods can even check my IP address.
i dont belive im macskiddo….
Nothing was ruined for them, they ruined it themselves.
Confused… So should I look at the comments?
If you want to spoil yourself then yeah. I haven’t read them so I’m not sure what they’re about though.
Yeah I’m not going to spoil myself with it.
nothing team flare related if thats what your worried about.
Not really. Josh, I know, is kind of avoiding story leaks. Besides some tidbits about AZ and the fact that he is absurdly giant and how Mega evolutions came to be.
Now giant as in height or like a very fat man 9ex. Huell from breaking Bad)?
Height. He’s 9 feet tall. Confirmed!
Oh ok then lol
o he’s taller or as about as tall as Groudon?
Anyone have a pokemon that was revealed or leaked that they initially disliked but now love, or at least like it?
at first i hated zygarde but now its kinda cool
Quilladin.
Same here! That angle…haha.
Haha
I like how you said quilladin and not chesnaught.
twas a dark day for team chespin.
Sylveon because of all the shit it caused until its type was revealed.
barnical
Z legendary. The artwork looks better than the in game.
Flabebe. But now I like it and its evos.
Mine is Gourgeist.
I was like WTF?
But now I sorta love it.
Greninjas toungue
That rock, fairy thing.
Amie saved that little guy for me.You do have eyes!
Honedge
Binacle. the evolution saved it!
Klefki I love that adorable little thing.
Delphox, fucking hated that thing to bits, but now I love it (also it might be based on Shinto Priestesses)
I hated Greninja’s tongue and decried it as fake when I saw if first.
Now that it’s confirmed, I have accepted it, but don’t like it too much.
Hey I’m new here and I’m getting Y and it would be really cool if I could get some friend codes

my argument with the LEAKERS is the holes in the pokedex….for one thing they can be filled with more kalos pokemon another thing is that the leakers could be holding out or even messing with information because…..THEY HAVE THE GAME AND WE DONT! so I post this as my opinion not to start anything but this is my theory on it 69+
And there could be cross gen evos that only show up in the national dex.
see on the right track mind there my good sir
Does anyone have an idea of what Zygarde is based off? I was expecting a serpent pokémon for Z, not a Volcarona/Sableye fusion! I do love it though! 🙂
Uhm, isn’t it a serpent?
A wyrm.
That’s it!
Thanks, that must be it!
looked kind of buggish to me at 1st
Madusa? Which is a serpent lol
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N%C3%AD%C3%B0h%C3%B6ggr
Probably based on this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N%C3%AD%C3%B0h%C3%B6ggr
the Niohogger/Nidhoggr Wyrm that is the third creature connected to the tree Yggdrasil in Norse Mythology, the other two being Stags and a Blind Eagle, which Xerneas and Yveltal fit. Look up Yggdrasil on Wikipedia, you’ll find links to this Niohogger, but the link to it’s page itself doesn’t like to be pasted, at least for me.
Thanks a lot! I just found out the Wyrm is an enemy of werewolves! So we could still be getting that Ice-wolf legendary!
Yeah based on Fenrir!
“The squirrel called Ratatöskr runs up and down the length of the Ash, bearing envious words between the eagle and Nídhöggr [the snake]”. We’re definitely getting a legendary squirrel too!
Mega Kecleon my life is complete 😀
Wishful thinking?
The truth is always camouflaged (see what I did there)
Lies! Pics or gtfo! :O
Yea pics or gtfo! :O
Am i the only one here who has trouble falling at sleep at night wondering what their missing with the leaks?
im sure ur not the only one xD
You have no idea…
Any signs of a Mythical Pokemon?
Since it’s Norse expect something like a Ratatoskr
Mythical Pokemon make the world go round!
they kinda do…
Pachirisu Mega
I think Ratatoskr’s poke will be the 600 base, all balanced stats one
ratatoskr sounds like ratata
Before Mega Evolution was revealed, I thought the new type of evolution GF would reveal would be “DNA evolution”. Take the host and take some DNA from another Pokémon and it’ll evolve. For example, take some DNA from Sableye, give it to Mawile, and it’ll evolve (Mawileye). Take some DNA from Mawile, give it to Sableye, and it’ll evolve (Sabwile). Oh well. This works too.
I like that idea.
Generally Fusion.
that seems even more Digimonesque than Mega Evolution does
That’s where I got the idea from, well that and Transformers.
http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130423050025/pokemon/images/f/f7/Venustoise.png
someday my sweet i will find you…
You were talking about Venastoise, right?
um… yes, yes i was… my sweet.
Ok…going back to my research now…
Someday…
If that would have been the case, watch GameFreak troll us by not making Venastoise lol
Have any leakers found Meloetta’s Red Shoes yet? No? Ok.
huh
Her Pokédex entry states that she lost her red shoes a long time ago. Well it’s the Pokédex. They probably don’t exist. I was just kidding.
why the oz reference?
Her Pokédex entry.
Guys I don’t know whether to believe this or not. http://chespinthemighty.tumblr.com/image/63314646666
me either
Fake and already discussed
well i didn’t discuss it … this comments section isn’t just for a handful of people. I think it’s fake, but at the same time i’m not sure if all the revealed pokemon are actually real.
Why not?
If ALL of the revealed screenshots are fake, that is a heck of a lot of very, very convincing work put in by a very dedicated group of people. At least, imo.
he asked a question and i answered it..
Nothing would get done if we focus on one thing, especially one thing this stupid
You’ll just have to Deal
good point
Oy vey, it’s fake.
Faaaaa…aaaake!
its 4chan, don’t even consider it unless some proof is given
FAKE
Nintendo flew some worker all the way to Canada just to TAKE his copy of X/Y away. I’m pretty sure these leaks are real.
yup agreed
Did this really happen? Wow.
mynintendonews.com said so
YES! Get it? F.L.E.W. not talk, not negotiate, FLEW there and TAKE IT! *huhuh* I have to calm down
would be a big troll on nintendos part but funny
Josh’s Eevee is at maximum affection
https://archive.foolz.us/_/search/tripcode/%21xltmUpewoI/page/1/
moment of truth!!
then it is time…
Thanks for the info
Anything new over the last hour or so?
Just got here. Check the comments below.
REALLY IMPORTANT QUESTION: I have been gone from the site due to my internet connection, luckily I could view all the X and Y info. Is there any site rules against leaks? I know people have posted info and images, but is the admins okay with that? Nintendo was cracking down on sites for their leaks, so I didn’t want the site to get shut down or anything.
Leaks are everywhere here, but I’d ask someone not as new as me lol
nope cause the site isnt posting this we are.
I found this nifty tool if your having trouble finding a store with a midnight release.
http://www.gamestop.com/gs/landing/events/pokemon-x-y/default.aspx
Wait, Gamestop is having a Midnight Launch??
Some stores do.
I’m calling mine tomorrow to see!!
Unfortunately mine isn’t on there.
Wait, so they are releasing the game at 10:00 on the 11th?
AND MINE IS!!! HOORAY!!!
My store is doing a midnight release, but they dont release it at 10:00, you get a ticket at 10 pm and then you wait around until midnight before they hand it out.
They should call you if you have a preorder too.
Dang it mine neither!!!!
Is target doing it, cause I preordered mine from Target
Hope for a miltank mega
Sure… and do you want Whitney to return as well? 😀
Maybe 😀 it will me my Lucario to level 100
New move is Mega Rollout: Hits 5 times in one turn and lasts 5 turns.
Mega Miltank-
HP: 500
ATK: 150
DEF: 150
SP ATK: 50
SP DEF: 50
SPEED: 100
Ability: Powerhouse
Doubles all stats and replenishes health every turn by 100 :O
3ds brakes
Then repairs itself giving you a Mega Bidoof. Stats are 1 on everything. Every pokemon is a Bidoof. Exp points are maxed. Item is an Everstone and can’t be removed. Ability is levitate and all their attacks are earthquake.
lol Mega-Bidoof
lol 😀
-Gym Leader Whitney would like to battle you. Yes/No?
-Sure, I mean my whole team is level 100.
-Gym Leader Whitney’s Miltank Mega-evolved
-Miltank used Rollout.
-So, it just killed one Pokemon haha
-Miltank used Rollout

Thanks for the info…
How’d it evolve. Pokemon-amie max happieness?
yea!
Thought so. But what is the process? Just make happy in Pokemon-amie by feeding it and playing with it?
Yeah. Maximum Affection.
Thanks
Wait. In the anime, we could have been seeing Sylveon in the original series the whole time! Because you know, characters in the anime can do stuff our protagonists can’t do, like cook (besides making poffins and poke blocks)!
lol we could’ve
MOOOOOTHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAA **%^$#%#%^#^%%!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is just as bad as seeing a flock of Altairia flying over Kanto in the Battle Froniter Arc. Where were they in season one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what is evee? a cat? a dog? something else? what?
a mixture of a cat and dog with a few others thrown in.
I think it’s based on foxe that can adapt to their surroundings, like the artic fox… But it does have cats and dogs features.
Mix of cat, dog, and fox species
Sylveon!!! Quick! Guess its base stats befrore they leak!
too late Sp focused.
https://1-media-cdn.foolz.us/ffuuka/board/vp/image/1381/09/1381098931192.jpg

Did it learn Baby-Doll Eyes by evolving?
It didn’t say. I hope so.
Wow, I really want my own Sylveon.
