When Mega Evolutions were revealed a couple of months back, fans were taken totally by surprise wondering what exactly we were being shown. Now that we understand just what Mega Evolutions are, we’re all guessing what Pokémon could be one of the select few to receive a Mega Evolution.
A while ago our close friend AAPF began researching trademark filings for Pokémon names. This research has previously uncovered Pokémon that have since received Mega Evolutions, and it seems highly likely that more Pokémon from this list will receive a Mega Evolution.
The following Pokémon have all had trademark registrations made for their names since the release of Black 2 & White 2, following the trend of other Pokémon with their names trademarked again there is a possibility these Pokémon will receive Mega Evolutions. Pokémon with a * next to their name have recently been confirmed.
- Gengar*
- Jynx
- Gyarados*
- Scizor
- Tyranitar
- Gardevoir*
- Medicham
- Banette
- Abomasnow*
- Kyogre
- Kecleon
- Latias
- Latios
- Pinsir
- Aerodactyl*
- Houndoom
- Groudon
- Aggron
- Plusle
- Minun
- Sceptile
- Rayquaza
- Absol*
- Heracross
It should be mentioned that this list is not a definitive list of Pokémon that could receive Mega Pokémon, that actual list could be a lot larger, or significantly smaller and we won’t find out until the games release. What Pokémon do you want to receive a Mega Evolution? Let us know!

My team is
Skiddo
Skiddo
Skiddo
Skiddo
Skiddo
Dedennde
*Sends out Dragalge* *Uses Poison Tail on every Pokemon*
Please I have fairy type
Poison is super effective against Fairy
But ur a dragon type 😀
Poison, AND Dragon.
I understand but so ur netural then me
I’m stronger, your argument is invalid.
well then well played *claps*
Thank you, thank you. 🙂
but i lied my Skiddo was actually a Honedge in Disguise!
It will do normal damage. Poison resists Fairy. Poison/Dragon will be weak to Dragon, Ice, and Ground. Dragon’s weakness and Poison’s resistance to Fairy cancel.
Also, since Dragalge is Poison/Dragon, Fairy moves will do 1X the damage.
Still sticking with:
Dedenne
Fletchling
Froakie
Chespin
Rotation:
Clauncher
Tyrunt
If no more fire types revealed I guess I will use:
Litleo
Can someone link me all known pokemon in kalos , including oldies?:)
Here! http://pastebin.com/UVxpjrXz
Chesnaught
Meowstic (F)
Pangoro
Dragalge
Talonflame
Lapras or Milotic if we can catch Feebas in the game
http://pastebin.com/UVxpjrXz
Wrong comment! xD
Still empty spaces, there’s still hope.
The only empty space in Central Kalos is Audino 😛
And the first two empty spaces in Coastal Kalos might be Feebas and Milotic
131!?!? Or did I miscount?
Pokemon came up with good names this gen i have to admit last gen i didnt like the names
Tepig should have been Piglit
I think Tepig is better than Piglit…
first off about the 6 gen names talonflame really? and piglet was tradmarked by disney being a charater from winne the poo
You do realise “piglet” is an actual word, right?
yes
PigLIT
Not you, Mac. Just pointing out that Disney can’t trademark calling something after an actual existing word…
Not in German they are terrible!

I have found there the pre-evolution of Noivern, Noibat. Is it already confirmed?
Yes, 🙂
http://pastebin.com/UVxpjrXz
So all these empty slots could be new Pokemon?
No, most likely oldies.
well that’s what I meant by could
Most likely more mega Pokemon from oldies.
No.. They are Audinos.
NO, THIS IS PATRICK!
Actually, we need a starfish pokemon XD
Staryu and Starmie?
Starmie
what about starme?
Ooops, I completely forgot about him…
though i would like a patrick pokemon
Yep
ok after buying a game from gamestop to pass the time until x and y (and they are doing a midnight release, YEAUH!) I decided that my final team for my playthrough is:
Chestnaught
Vivillon
Arorous
Dragalge
Aromatisse
Agislash
that’s final!
but the one prob with that team is your flying type cant learn fly
You don’t need fly to beat the game you know, it’s just a convenience.
that’s ok, id rather be unable to fly then be unable to surf!
So I guess my team will be:
Delphox – Bayaz
Venusaur – Dum’Saur
Florges – Florina
Heliolisk – Helios’ard
Malamar – Nefarious
Noivern – Noirthus
my actually team
Chespin
Charmander
Skiddo
Dedennde
Goomy
Honeage
quick question guys, is there a poison steel type? because it would wreck fairys m8
but it weak againsts it self then 😀
There is about one or two Poison and Steel types that are new in this Gen, and none of them are Poison/Steel
Gardevoir
Delphox
Honege
Dennede
Charmander
Noivern OR Goomy
THIS IS THE MASTER TEEAAMM
My teams so far:
X:
Greninja
Slurpuff
Charizard (Later Mega)
Gourgeist
Aegislash
Aurorus
Y:
Chesnaught
Aromatisse
Tyranatrum
Furfrou
Malamar
Blastoise (Later Mega)
does anyone know if mime jr comes back in the anime
Since everyone is posting their teams, I guess I’ll post mine.
Greninja
Venusaur
Litleo/Chandelure (Can’t decide yet)
Hawlucha
Tyrantrum
Heliolisk
CHANDELURE! 😀
I am most likely using Chandelure, if that makes you happy XD
Ha, it’s a good thing I’m choosing Chesnaught that means I can beat my rival 🙂
Chandelure and Hawlucha kicks yo booty.
… It’s true,
>:D We gonna have a good time battling!
Especially when I win >:D
Awwwwww heck to no-no!
We will see!

What is this?
His grocery list.
XDDD
does he even have enough money to buy that?!
I dunno, it’s way small XDD
Dedenne-bucks
LOL
Anythin’
new since Z legendary?
Wow, so much that I’ve missed (Gone all day Friday and Saturday, but I still check up on it.
The Pokemon I’ve seen are really cool. Noibat is cute. And Flabebe’s final evo I wish could have been part grass, but oh well.
Zygarde looks really cool as well, but I hoped it would look more Zish (like the shape is more pronounced) but I still like it and its typing.
The Gym Leader’s types I have no problem with (except Clemont should have been Steel, but oh well. Too many electric type gyms). I am most excited about the Psychic type gym because I have wanted another one since ever. But I am disappointed that Dark isn’t a gym, but I’m glad it’s not in the E4.
Speaking of the E4, I love the types. Sure we have gotten Fire and Dragon before (but it’s not as common as Dark) but Steel and Water are new and I like it.
Diantha being Champion shocked me, but I have wondered about her role. Mega Gardevoir looks majestic and I’m glad they didn’t butcher the Mega design :D.
Less than a week away….don’t know how I’m going to cope D:
But I have finalized my teams (and their nicknames :D) (Yes I switched things around):
X:
Fennekin
Helioptile
Flabebe
Amaura
Noibat
Clauncher
Y:
Chespin
Fletchling
Espurr
Sprtizee
Skrelp
Bergmite
Welcome back…
hey sorry if this has already been addressed but what is dragalge’s ability?
Poison Point I think
poison point
awesome that’s cool, thank you!
my team to this point:
Chesnaught
Charizard Y
Goodra
Helliolisk
Pangoro
Vaporeon
Honourable mentions: (good pokemon that i will still catch)
Krookodile
Pyroar
talonflame
Tyrantrum
Malamar
Noivern
Blaziken (event)
Skrelp
Avalugg
Raichu
i really dont have team i just go with the flow
I have seen the pokedex and there are still many holes in it. This holes are for old or new pokemons? All the news have already been discovered or there are still hopes for new pokemons?
They will be old Pokemon.
U never know actually
The National Dex has no room for new Pokemon unless they are after the legends.
http://images.4chan.org/vp/src/1381079625167.jpg sycamore and the pokemon league are evil
What does this imply O.o
Huh, Sycamore might just be evil. I like. Very Much.
Lysandre looks like Team Flare leader
Isn’t he?
OMG SYCAMORE IS AN ACQUAINTANCE FOR FLARE???
I KNEW IT THE SOCKS FORESHADOW THE FUTURE
Interesting. Sycamore, might have more to him! 😉
well hes sock are red XD
Ever since I saw his socks I speculated this.
OMG I CANNOT WAIT TO HEAR MORE
THE DUDE’S NAME IS LYSANDER, LIKE FROM A MIDSUMMER’S NIGHT’S DREAM!
