Pokémon: The Origin will be airing tonight in Japan (look out for our live stream post later today!), and it has been recently revealed the the broadcast will provide new details on Pokémon X & Pokémon Y. The Official Pokémon website recently updated and sent out a press release, which simply said “New XY info to be revealed!?” in reference to Pokémon: Origins. Junichi Masuda has also tweeted about the new information that will be revealed tomorrow, urging everyone to watch the episode.
Whilst a little scarce on details, there’s a chance we could get a reveal of some sort (although no promises!). We will provide details on The Origin as well as details on whatever the Pokémon Company are referring to as new information tomorrow.
Pokemon: Origins will air 7pm JST, which translates to 3am PST, 6am EST, 11am UK, 12pm Mainland Europe.

It’s most likely why they didn’t show anything in the direct. Instead they are using news to encourage people to watch their tv special.

Well we did have a Sylveon silhouette but it lasted about an hour and was revealed in the magazine.

yeah but some people think that the A looks to close to the R so they could have changed it.
Actually, if anything the font in the supposed evolution picture there is the more recent one as seen in the Torchic promotion clip, so if anything it is more likely to be real judging by the text.

That Froakie picture is very convincing-looking, and from what I can find we haven’t seen the Pokémon Info screen (showing the nature and location met) before. However, it uses the older beta font as seen with the “A”‘s, so I’m not completely sure what to believe…
If it’s revealed within the episode then i’m guessing it’ll be a trailer showcasing the new information, either during the break or after the show. Or both.

It’s not impossible. A lot of companies have had games delayed that were supposed to come out. Just look at GTA V. It was supposed to come out earlier this year but released on Sept. 17th. Sometimes they have more things to fix.
Considering the hype surrounding the games enough that on the 11th they are allowing people to buy the games in New York, I highly doubt it. 😛

I’m very curious to see if they include the Kanto starters’ Mega Evolutions in this special. If they do, then it is entirely possible that the news may come in the form of another new Mega Evolution debuting in this special. Mega Dragonite, Mega Gyarados, Mega Raichu?
Or perhaps, and this one is a long-shot, they will announce that after the main story you will be able to find and challenge Red somewhere in Kalos. That would be fun, even if it wouldn’t be the most original thing to include.
