  • Finished!!
  • New Kirby game announced! Unfortunately no title!
  • The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds will be forgoing the traditional idea of one item per dungeon. Player’s choice of items and order of dungeon will play a large part in the game. Coming November 22nd (EU/NA)
  • Bravely Default shown off in a new trailer, coming Quarter 1 2014 (December 6th for Europe). Comes with both English and Japanese audio.
  • Nintendo Zone downloads coming soon
  • Nintendo 2DS coming the same day as Pokemon X & Y
  • QR code provided for Animal Crossing: New Leaf shirt design of Link’s shirt on Outset Island from Wind Waker. Fedora Chair and Sushi Platter also coming
  • Focus on Nintendo eShop titles
  • Phoenix Wright Dual Destinies coming to 3DS, demo available after Nintendo Direct. Coming October 24th (EU/NA)
  • Assasin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is coming to the Wii U on October 29th
  • Sonic Lost World has bonus for preorder while supplies last, coming October 29th
  • Batman Arkham Asylum Blackgate coming to the 3DS
  • Lego Marvel Super Heroes coming October 22nd
  • Skylanders Swap-Force coming on October 13th, features new character customization
  • Just Dance 2014 coming with new modes and features, coming October 8th
  • Etrian Odyssey Untold released today
  • Pikmin 3 has new Mission Mode stages coming through paid downloads. Available after this presentation. New software update will include better ranking feature which shows the top score.
  • Super Smash Bros. will again include Sonic
  • Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games Sochi 2014 will feature online multiplayer, coming November 15
  • Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze has been delayed. North American release coming February 2014
  • Wii Party U showcased. Utilizes the Gamepad and Wiimotes to create unique combinations for control. Comes with Gamepad stand for physical retail version
  • Trailer for Super Mario 3D World (Wii U). New cat suit. Features playable Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad. 4 player multiplayer mode. Released November 22nd, November 29th for Europe.
  • Nintendo Direct is starting

  137. i love how they said this direct would feature wii u and 3ds games coming out THIS YEAR, and yet we got NO x and y info and several trailers for games coming out NEXT YEAR. ughh, curse you nintentroll. -_-

    • Gamefreak (or another company) has already said they don’t want anymore X/Y info to be released til after its release date! Which is why I question the leaks, they specifically told them not to share anything or there would be consequences!

  144. Well, you guys, it’s ok to be honest. We’ll go on, we can still speculate and call rumours fake and have fun. It’s time to close up Generation Five and to be honest, it makes me really sad. I loved Generation Five so much and now it is coming to an end. I’d like to just take a moment to remember my first playthrough, my all-star team: Unfezant/Leavanny/Samurott/Scrafty/Darmanitan/Zebstrika. Those are my bros for life ;v; I’m hoping to have just as much fun as I did in B/W in X/Y. I already have spent a month breeding for a Shiny Eevee so it can evolve into shiny Sylveon xD. My team is planned to, Chespin/Sylveon/Furfrou/Noivern/Meowstic/Pangoro. I am so freaking excited for X/Y! School goes by really fast for me, no one talks to me so I have time to just think and wonder. My weeks are over in snaps. It feels like just yesterday we were saying Happy New Year! I hope you all realize this, we are in the home stretch. Just a little bit longer. It’s been like nine months now, we survived. The next two weeks will go by like a breeze. I ordered mine at Walmart, so I REALLY hope they will give them out at midnight, because I plan to be there then. It is open 24-Hour so…. one can hope. Lol, well Pokejungle community, I will not be on any time soon, I am avoiding leaks and rumors, so I am avoiding all Pokesites. Farewell, will see you all 10/12/13.

  153. I wasn’t expecting much, so I’m not disappointed.

    Sonic’s reveal was a bit disheartening though. If he was revealed this week, and Toon Link was revealed last week, what are the chances that they’ll reveal their 6th character next week when X and Y come out. At least leaving Sonic’s reveal until his game actually came out would have given us 3 characters in 6 weeks, but 3 characters seems like such a stretch. Don’t get me wrong, Sonic is an alright character, but I’d rather have a Pokemon revealed on the day that X and Y comes out.

      • I really didn’t like him when Brawl came out because I didn’t think that he was truly Nintendo. I also hated how he was one of the most important Subspace characters with a last moment deus ex machina.

        This time around I’ll accept him more because he has established himself on more Nintendo systems, but I probably won’t play as him. I also despised his terrible moveset (what was the difference between Side-B and Down-B, and when could you ever use his B?)

  157. Besides probable leaks, I think the only thing Gamefreak will release from now till launch is maybe a 3 minute trailer (like the Japan one). I doubt we will get another pokemon officially released, and I’m okay with it considering it comes out in 10 days.

    • I agree. If so I can imagine them releasing a Launch trailer maybe 3 minutes long on Friday, to coincide with the reviews for the games.

  162. We will have information for sure within the tenth. When in Japan will be the 12th here will still be the 11th. But usually preorders can arrive one day before release. So the 11th in Japan (the 10th here).

    Thanks god 9 days and all these fakes will stop.

    • We might get some leaks after the fourth, but since when do preorders usually arrive one day before release? We MIGHT get some information if someone gets lucky enough but I doubt it will be definite.

      • It has always happened that someone received the game the day before release, because shops send the game because of preorder to make the arrive within the 12th, but they don’t know when they actually arrive..

        • Stores aren’t legally eligible to sell the game until its official release date. People who work in the store might try to sneak around this rule by playing the games themselves, but not sell it to a customer. If you buy it online you usually won’t get the game until a few days AFTER its release.

          • oh god why is it so hard to understand?? Check online there are 3000 shops that ask you to preorder promising that you will receive the game on the 12th also if it will be shipped. So they send them some days before to be sure they actually arrive on the 12, but sometimes (has always happened in pas gens) the may arrive the 11th instead,,

          • What part of they cannot -legally sell the game- to anyone until the day of release.

            Yes, sometimes the game will arrive early, because judging shipment processes is not accurate. However, the games are just kept in stock until the day of release.

            Like I said, some lucky workers might get their hands on one if they want to risk it (or read through the guide). On the 11th, they are holding a special event where they will sell the games at 8PM on the 11th, so I guess there you can expect some leaked information by that.

            Unless Japan has different laws to which I’m not aware of, the waiting lines for the game are going to be long as hell. Besides the 4th, I would expect possible leaks on the 11th, not 10th, and that’s still possible due to the excess of fakes blending with real ones.

          • I work at a Game store in the UK and X/Y is getting a midnight release at several of our stores. With that being said, I can obtain my copy on the midnight release.

  163. I know this is off topic, but Junichi Masuda is doing a signing at my local fnac (the biggest french multimedia store chain) on the 12th!!!!! I can’t believe it, it’s literally a quarter of an hour away! I’m so lucky to be living in Paris! Region based on France for the win!!!

  168. I’m a little surprised we didn’t get a new trailer for X & Y, but even more surprising is that I got my wish of SSB news! That isn’t a game coming out this year, but I’m not going to complain. I’m excited for the return of Sonic, and that new Windy Hill Zone stage is looking really nice from what we’ve seen. Thanks for the surprise, Nintendo!
