In the preview for next week’s Smash, the narrator teased us with “a new secret truth about Mega Mewtwo!” On a side note, the smash crew is seen talking about the Kalos starters in the preview as well; could it be leading to the starter evolution reveals…?

Corocoro Information
We know our readers are eagerly awaiting the latest issue of Corocoro and while there’s a little longer to wait, we thought we’d remind you of what you can expect this month… Rather than the usual few pages featuring new X & Y information, the issue this month will feature a separate booklet alongside the usual published pages.
The separate publication will contain information on new Pokémon and is said to feature a “newsflash” on Mega Pokémon. Somewhere in the issue the update type-chart for X & Y will also be published, meaning we will finally learn where Fairy-Type fits into the least of weaknesses, strengths and resistances!
We’re expecting all this information to hit around the 11/12 of this month, so keep your eyes on the site for what’s looking to be a huge X & Y scoop!

And you know what? Even if all we get are the middle evolutions, I’ll be happy. Because one, that’s still three more Pokémon than we know about right now. And two, I have a tendency to prefer the appearance of middle evolutions over other forms.

Ugh…man am I nervous to find out. I hope Fighting-types remain with the most Offensive advantages. I would still like to pummel Fairy-types with moves like Close Combat.

I think Fighting will be not very effective against Fairy, and Fairy will deal super effective against Fighting.
I heard something about “playing fair”, or “fighting fair”.. aka “fighting fairy” lol.
I personally hope FIghting doesn’t remain so offensive, I already can’t stand the several Terrakion’s online with their Close Combats.

Going through all of my Pokemon games, gathering all of my most precious Pokemon to be transferred into a new future, nearly brings a tear to my eye. We are truly friends, even though they are just pixels. The cool thing is, I can keep all of those Pokemon in Pokemon Bank for multiple generations after X and Y, so they will be with me forever!
I’ve been doing the same! I found my Sceptile from Ruby! If only I still have my Swampert from Sapphire…

I’ve been going through games back to Diamond (I don’t have Gen three anymore… ='( ) And I ‘ve found an original Blaziken and Combusken and my Sceptile. No Swampert. I found some pokemon that a friend traded me last time we traded, 7th grade, no longer a huge fan. I’m transferring all the pokes I got during Gen three for sure, and making boxes of what I plan on moving so it doesn’t take take me forever to go through during the transfer.

You know, i feel so bad every time a new game is out.. because I empty it completely of pokes (losing items and such). And then I can’t even use fly xD I usually never go back to them, though..
Yeah. I feel bad though because I didn’t trade over all of the Pokemon I had. Just a select few. When I transfer its obvious that the adventure in the game is over, even if I start over. Unless something new is added or its remade, I don’t feel like going back and replaying it because the next game is going to have new unseen things.
I feel the exact same way about my Pokémon. I’ve had some of these Pokémon for a decade now!
Well, mine aren’t that old (I decided to keep my files indefinitely a couple years back) but I am keeping my first starter of Unova, my lv. 100 Samurott, my original bro! 😀
Same with my Emboar from Black. 🙂 But yeah, the oldest Pokémon I have is my level 100 Swampert, from when I first played Ruby version, on the file I started the day Ruby and Sapphire came out in the US.
Oh yeah, I just remembered, I have to get that from my Black as well. The cool thing is, my White file was started on my birthday 2 years ago, so my Samurott shares its birthday with me

same, played though black 2 twice, Hg twice platinum twice emerald once ( can’t reset got pokerus for the first time) and fire red twice so i could explore mall the regions and catch their pokemon.

Yup. One that mostly looked like Mewtwo, then another that looked more like Mew. If it turns out to be the case, then that means we should expect SOME professor named Patrice in there somewhere. Maybe Patrice will be the one who invented the Mega Ring instead.

I doubt that there will be a Forme of a Mega-Evolution (or a second Mega-Evolution). Most likely it’s just some revelation about its exact stats or something like that.

Although I missed the actual stream I am glad to hear that the preview for next weeks episode shows it to be promising. I can not wait for CoroCoro to release. Please let there be at least the first evolutions for the starters so I can finally settle on who I’m going to pick!!!

I have around 14 in my White 2, and I have like 220 hours in that one game file. I have over 500 hours total in Gen 5.
I have like… 20 boxes in Black 2 completely full. I have absolutely every Pokemon individually, and then my remaining space is for all the others I am breeding and training, and that’s not much space.
That means Pokemon Bank is the service for you!
Pretty much XD. Having every Pokemon literally leaves you with almost no room for anything, I didn’t even realize it would get that full.

Well I think they might explain why pokemon megaevolve. It obviously seems that it has something do with their DNA. But what puzzles me is what makes some pokemon megaevolve and some not? I guess that goes back to why some pokemon evolve and some don’t. But maybe every pokemon has the potential to megaevolve. Maybe every pokemon is going to get a megaevolution? (HA!)

Because the anime doesn’t care? If I remember correctly, the movie had Kyurem switching between White and Black forms pretty much at will.

Works better in a double or triple battle.
It’s really the same with a lot of form changes. Deoxys in the movie switches between Normal, Attack, and Defense *no speed yet* when it wants, Arceus is literally using EVERY Plate at the same time, at least the ones it had, so with every plate it was quite literally invincible.
