BREAKING POKEMON NEWS: In an interview, Satoshi Tajiri explained how we will no longer have the option to save from the menu in X & Y. Instead, we are only allowed to save when visiting Pokemon centers. Satoshi expressed how he is aware that such a drastic change can be seen as a step backward in Pokemon, but he is confident that this will not hinder gameplay at all, instead it will simply encourage players to travel a bit more, so that they may appreciate the artistic efforts by the team.

Maybe they will do something like Pet battling in wow, where your pokeballs will become more effective if they continuously fail.
I still really don’t see this as being likely because it seems like such a pointless change that will only cause annoyance to players of the game.

But one of the unique things about the games are that you can literally pick up and play from where you left off and put the game down anytime. it will be really sad if this turns out to be true…

If fennekin did go fire/fighting i think it would look like Gaogamon…though I, as everyone else, would still hate another fire/fighting. I think GF finally got the message though and made it fire/psychic..or anything besides fighting.
Not to mention the first gym isn’t rock, which is like the only reason they got fighting type
I’m sure that it’s safe to assume that at least one of the starters will end up being part fighting.

Personally, I’d rather have a Professor who turns out to be the Champion. He set you on your journey, and he is also your final and greatest opponent.
Here is my take on it:
-Sycamore is the Leader of Team Flare.
-Patrice later becomes the actual Professor and helps you beat him.
-Sycamore is the Champion, and Team Flare takes over Kalos once you get to the champion battle, having to chase them around the region (and maybe another region?)
I finally translated what he is saying! He talks about the legndary pokemon, being loose and having extensive power! That isn’t a direct translation though.

I’m so excited my biggest worry was a lack of character battle models and now it looks like there’s an intro, a winning and a losing character battle animation according to the pic of the player here and the above pic of Sycamore/pic of rival with no hat not looking too happy 😀 Oh and when will we get a vid of all this I really wanna see it in action XD
