  1. Should be, what, just half an hour left to go? These next thirty minutes will surely be the longest weeks of our lives.

  2. It’s not proper news so I’ll just post it down here, apparently some of the people entering have been searched for suspicious objects.

  3. Alright, this has been bothering me for a while, but seriously: don’t the authors of these articles use spell check or something? It doesn’t speak well for the rep of this site when there are so many blatant spelling errors in the articles. And no; I’m not a grammar Nazi. I just happen to believe that, even on the Internet, the English language should be respected. I’m not bashing this site at all. I just think it wouldn’t hurt to make sure you aren’t misspelling words like “aerial” or using “began” in the wrong tense. Sorry if you guys don’t agree with me, but it’s the Internet; you don’t have to agree with me.

      • That is very true. I will give them slack for this one, but the errors in their previous articles don’t really have any valid explanations.

    • it is possible that English is not their first language. no matter it is not like everyone is perfect. It also depends on where they are writing from and on what they are writing on.

      • I disagree. The author’s sentence structures are too accurate to be a non-English speaker. I guess that is also true(the last part, not the second part). It just bothers the crap out of me sometimes…

          • No, but I’ve had enough exposure to people who don’t speak English as their native language. I’m fully aware of what a sentence written by a native speaker looks like compared to a non-native speaker. The structure is just too close to perfect to be from a non-native speaker.

        • well I can write fluently in Latin and working on Hebrew so it is not impossible to do. You are right that English is one of the harder lang. to learn

fyi: English is my first and primary language and I still make mistakes all the time.

        • I already found that one, but he did misspell aerial in one of the photo captions – or whoever typed the captions did. Either way, someone doesn’t know how to spell aerial.

    • Do you know how to use ‘blatant’ in the correct context?

      1. :Obvious, noisy especially in a vulgar or offensive manner : clamorous
      2. : Completely obvious, conspicuous, or obtrusive especially in a crass or offensive manner.

You lack an understanding of innuendo and concise diction.
God. Now I sound annoying correcting your poor grammar.

    • Really? Who cares? We are all here for updates, content, and pokemon in general. Not the “English language” besides…. there in Japan.

      • This is a huge insult to English-speakers though!!! I bet this article is going to headline on CNN and Fox tomorrow. I am almost in tears; I am just so upset that someone would be so malicious as to incorrectly spell two words. What has the world come to?

        Reply
        • Well i really could not tell you what the world has come to because i know…its a fucked up place. However these guys are busting there asses to get us good information so the word “aerial” being spelled wrong is okkkk! Besidesi am one of the eEnglish speaking natives myself! 😛

  4. I am so excited to see what they show off. I wish that I could get my hands on one of those 2000 3DS systems.

    Also I’m new here. Hello!

  5. ‘Fire resists Fairy. Fairy takes normal damage from fire.”
Another reason why the pokebeach rumors are true (for the most part)

    Reply
    • Nope, there is an option. When you go to use a move you can choose to Mega Evolve. For example, in the trailer Mega Blaziken immediately used Blast burn after Mega evolving.

  6. So while we wait for some information to come out, I have a few questions:
    1) What was your initial reaction to the Fairy type and what is your opinion now?
    2) What was your initial reaction to the mega evolutions and what is your opinion now?
    3) What animal/plant/object do you predict will be a Pokemon this gen?
    4) Favorite underrated/unappreciated Pokemon?

    Reply
    • 1) At first I didn’t want a new type, I hated the idea. Now I love it 😀
      2) I was skeptical but now I love them!
      3) Ogre Pokemon?
      4) DUNSPARCE!

    • 1) Ambivalent – Now I love them after Swirlix.
      2) RIP Pokemon – erhmm, they are ‘okay’ after time has passed.
      3) Gaelic Rooster (French symbol)
      4) Vespiquen

    • I guess I will answer my own questions as well:
      1) Loved Fairy type and and still do.
      2) HATED it, now I’m neutral.
      3) I’m hoping for some creative fossil Pokemon that are not based on dinosaurs, so like a saber-toothed tiger?
      4) I always kinda liked Mawile, but it was sooo weak I rarely used it. VERY glad it’s getting a boost this gen.

      Reply
    • 1) Neutral, now pretty content
      2) Horrified, now cautiously excited
3)Hoping for a salamander (not lizard) though will probably get a dolphin
      4) Golem
