PJNET’s BW Coverage

Time for us to start our coverage 😀  I’ll be posting stuff and the newer information on top.  Newer pictures will also be on top.

• Coverage is on hold for 30 minutes while I eat and take a break .
• OMG!  Dokkora will flip that plank of wood it is holding.  Cuuuute <3  Otakmako’s animation is also adorable!!  It is like flipping around on the ground <3
• When you try to enter Aloe’s gym N will come out and battle you
• Seems that dark grass only gives you a chance of a wild double battle, you still encounter single pokemon mostly
• Route 3 Pokemon: Mamepato, Minezumi, Choroneko [PKMN Daycare is also on Route 3, along with a preschool where an NPC will heal your pokemon]
• For helping you, the girl will give you a Heal Ball
• Inside cave you can find Koromori and Dangoro
• You’ll battle against the Grunts inside of a cave (cool thing: when your pkmn’s HP is red it’s animation will slow down) – After that battle you’ll have a double battle against 2 more grunts with Cheren
• Minezumi learns Crunch @ Lv16 (Wow, that’s pretty early IMO)
• Yuuterii evolves into Haaderia @ Lv16
• After your battle with Cheren two Plasma grunts will run by and Belle will come running up with a little girl whose pokemon was stolen.  Cheren runs ahead and tells you to help out
• Cheren will battle you again on Route 3.  He has: Starter lv 14, Choroneko lv12
• Before you can continue on you must visit Makomo’s house again and she will give you the C-Gear.  Her sister/assistant will give you the Pal Pad
• Picture of my current party added
• Item balls in Warehouse area: PokeBall, X-Defend, Paralysis Heal, Repel, and Potion
• After defeating them Geechizu will appear and ask the grunts what they are doing, he talks a bit about Humans and Pokemon then Team Plasma disappears and Musharna comes out.  They leave behind the ‘Dream Smoke’ that Makomo needed
• In Warehouse of Broken Dreams area you’ll find Munna, but Plasma Grunts step out and explain THEY need Munna.  Battle ensues of course – you face two in a row, but grunt only has 1 pokemon
• After beating Dento’s Gym Makomo will greet you outside and take you to her house. She will give you HM1 Cut and tell you that she is looking for Munna to enable the Dream World ‘Game Sync’ feature
• @Lv12 Yooterii learns Helping Hand
• Trainer 1 in Dento’s gym as a lv11 Yooterii, trainers in his gym are waiters and maids / Trainer 2 has a lv10 Minezumi and a lv10 Choroneko
• When you enter the Gym the guy who follows you around @ each gym and gives you advice will give you a ‘Fresh Water’
• Dento is standing outside the Gym and looks at what starter pokemon you have and tells you that the type you are weak against will be the type you face
• @Lv11 Mijumaru learns Water Sport
• @Lv11 Minezumi learns Detect
• @Lv 6 Choroneko learns Assist / @Lv10 it learns Sand Attack
• By Request – Route 1: Minezumi, Yooterii / Route 2: Minezumi, Yooterii, Choroneko
• RAAAAAAAAAGE!  I just accidently killed the Choroneko I was looking for
• @Lv8 Minezumi learns Bide
• @Lv5 Yooterii learns Odor Sleuth / @Lv8 it learns Bite
• On Route 2 if you go up the stairs near the end of the route you will find 2 item balls which contain a Potion and a Pokeball
• To the left of Sanyou City there is a beautiful garden and in the lower portion you can find an item ball with a Great Ball in it! (pictured)
• The “Trainer School” makes an appearance in Sanyou City, you can find Cheren here and he will ask you if you’ve fought the Gym Leader yet and then challenge you to a battle. He has: Starter you are weak against (lv8) and a Choroneko (lv8).  After winning he will give you an Oran Berry
• Sanyou City is where Route 2 ends up, wish me luck for the badge here!
• Belle will battle you at the end of Route 2.  She has: Yoterii (lv6), and the starter yours is effective against (lv7)
• @lv7 Mijumaru learns Watergun / @lv6 Minezumi learns Bite
• Item ball on Route 2 is a Potion
• You receive the ‘Running Shoes’ from your mother once you step out into Route 2
• In the second town, Karakuse Town, there is a house that you can talk to the people inside to change your game music slightly
• After speech you’ll meet N and have a mandatory battle
• The Plasma speech by Geechisu is right after Araragi tells you about how to use the PokeCenter in the second town
• No voice acting on Live Caster 🙁
• Girl on Route 1 will give you a potion (pictured, in bag)
• After showing you how to catch Pokemon on Route 1, Araragi will give you 5 pokeballs
• All games will start in ‘Spring’
• Your mother gives you the ‘Town Map’ after Araragi gives you the Pokedex and you leave the lab
• There is an NPC right in Kanoko Town (where you start) who will change your game from kana to kanji or vice versa
• ‘Save’ function now has a small indicator at the bottom showing its progress while saving data
• Belle’s father is NOT pleased that she is going to be Pokemon Trainer (pictured)

1. “DAMEDAMEDAMEH!” Not happy indeed. XD

While saving, it shows sprites of your pokemon, but when you boot it back up, it doesn’t…. that seems strange to me.

• Kana is a collective term for katakana & hiragana, two of the Japanese languages. It breaks down like this:

Hiragana: Japanese words
Katakana: Foreign words (Like if you said Ice cream and Aisu kuriimu, that would be in katakana). Also, they swith to katakana for emphasis. All Pokemon names are also in katakana.

Kanji is the more complicated symbols. Hiragana is phonetic like English, meaning each sound is written down. Kanji are pictogram-based, so one kanji can be an entire concept. It’s also useful for homonyms (For instance, kami in Japanese can be both hair and god, but the kanji are VASTLy different) so that you don’t get too confused. However, there are about 2000 commonly used kanji, and only 46 hiragana (including variation) so hiragana is a LOT easier to learn.

The option that asks if you want Kana or Kanji is asking if you’re advanced enough in reading Japanese to understand kanji. If so, they’re included, If not, they stick to katakana and hiragana.

4. I guess you don’t understand the japanese either? aw T_T

I was hoping for basic translation of things like the plasma speech in that city.

And try not doing it like serebii, who for example says stuff like:
-plasma talks a bit, then N battles you with a lv7 cat.
a)we can see plasma talks, the interesting part is what they say
b)why the hell would anyone wanna know the exact species and lvl of the pokemon theyll face x_x
basically all we get there is info that we see ourselves once we reach that point, so the question arises WHY? xD

5. Grrrrr, since you posted the levels they learn attacks, clearly u found a rom w/o the anti-piracy. Care to share por favor. That is if you are playing on a rom, which it appears you are, unless your camera is insanely hi-def. 🙂

• Professor Zalck, we get it…. He might have imported it, and if ‘we’ don’t support ROMS, that doesn’t mean he is NOT using a ROM. Besides, your repetitive posts are annoying.

I’m in a bad mood to, so I’m apologizing ahead of time for anything rude that I type tonight.

• Since you’re in a bad move, how about not writing anything tonight, cuz you’re getting annoying
(I guess I’m in a bad mood too)

7. Hey, On Serebii, they said Tabunne is like a Chansey, an incredibly rare find. If you see shaking grass, look for a higher chance of Tabunne.
Wondered if you could confirm this?

8. For some reason, mine aren’t gaining EXP, which can’t be right considering I’m at the point where you battle Belle outside Saynou.

• I suggest you try not to use an emulator, BTW. As evidenced by WPM, you cannot level up your Pokemon in a ROM.

Although if you like nuzlockes, go right on ahead.

10. Apparently you can use some sort of rare candy treat and level up with rare candies. That’s just what I read on youtube. I have no idea how to do it though.
