A user in the comment section of my site has identified screenshots that he faked. I have to admit, Wakoishi was by far the best. The only thing we really had to doubt about it was the cave setting. The plant-creature is also fake so I’m sure MANY of you will breath a sigh of relief. The emonga screenshot was also faked.
Another day, another fake. Doesn’t it always seem to be that way these days? At least I can bust this rumor first for you :p
<3 pokejungle
ps- Anyone glad that those two were fake?

Thank goodness. I was not a fan of the Flower Owl at all…
it made me wanna puke
It’s disappointing Wakoishi is fake though. I actually favoured it over the supposed evolution. Lol
i didnt like how it was just a head
Aww.. that Gigaisu pre-evo was cool… oh well we still got our McDonald pocket XD
The plant is fake?
oh yeah!!! \o/
haha im glas theyre fake
yay for the plant owl thing!! :DDDD
boo for the gigaiasu pre-evo. DX
i kinda hadda feeling about the emonga sprite..guess my insticts were right! 😀
emonga’s had to have been, that’s a really amateur sprite.
Agreed
Yay! the owl flew away to the land of of the fakes. Well, At least we now know that that Gigagiasu will not get a Head-only pre-evo.
Thank god
so emonga is fake!
nooooooooooooooooo i was a big fan of it, its cute T.T
Who said that Emonga was fake? O_o
No the SCREENSHOT with emonga in it was fake.
just the sprite of emonga is fake, my dear. 😀
Plant thing was the worst faked sprite I’ve ever seen, and Wakoishi wasn’t much better.
I’m glad the sorry love-child of Vileplume and Hoothoot is fake, as well as the Gigagiasu’s prevo, to me, it looked more like a grumpy fish rather than a rock.
Wow i thought exactly that, i thought it was a fish at first. I hate thhose two fakes tho so glad theyre gone
Wakoishi had beens sending fake chills down my spine since its appearance.
I’m just gonna sit back and have myself a nice chuckle because I’v been ranting on here and Pokebeach about how the plant/owl and the Emonga screens were soooo obviously fake. The Plant/owl was poorly designed and looks like a splice, while the Emonga was just in an awkward pose and doesn’t match the current sprite style.
I’m sort of disappointed that the Gigaisu pre-evo turns out to be fake though.
Now I just have to wait for the confirmation that the Tabuune screen is also fake. It’s drawn far too crappy, it looks as though the sprite was just pasted over a different pokemon and doesn’t even begin to match the earlier descriptions of it. It was described as “pink and round” not a pink and tan rabbit. It is not round by any definition of the word. Unless there was a huge misunderstanding with the initial description, I call fake.
I wouldn’t be surprised at all if you were right about the current Tabunne too.
I stands out somewhat.

And sorta came from no where
THANK GOD. Sorry, whoever made these, but plant owl is awful. Good job on faking it, though.
I’m really surprised someone came forward to claim them. I’d probably be ashamed considering how terrible 2 of them were.
xD agreed. It did suck.
Thank GOD that plant owl is fake. XD
This has made my day xD they were both awful in my opinion.
Just a shame both my name and ‘website’ link are both based on fakemons, i feel that i’m living a lie D:
i loled at you’re picture of hoothoot and venasaur love child story. xDD
they clearly used Hoothoot’s boday as a base and Venusaur’s flower on top
Aww i kinda liked Wakoishi but horray for that hideous plant abomination burped up from the ground lolz its gone now and wont ever hurt us lol
Oh thank Arceus they were fake! Quite an ugly Pokemon, y’know.
actually.looking back at the tabunne screenshot…i’m thinking it’s a fake.
the sprite seems different from the other three in the picture and it looks like a digimon to me more than a pokemon. xDDD
plus didn’t they describe it as “pink an round”?
FINALLY someone who agrees with me. It looks fake, period. It might be real, if so, then its one of the worst drawn sprites I’v seen so far.
I’v already searched bunny fakemon on DA to see if I could find something resembling it, but couldn’t find anything. I’m 99% sure I’v saw a fakemon somewhere that looked just like it, its just a matter of time before I find it and prove it that its fake or that GameFreak ripped someone off XD.
Yes, yes they did. I have since updated my post with a link to what I think is the REAL tabunne
SO GLAD those two “pokemon” arefakes. my, they are HORRIBLE.
yes, in caps. kinda obvious, though, at least with the plant thing
i wonder whats so special about that new fish thing tho
its so plain jane i hope it evolves into something prettier or cooler
It could be the ugly fish for this gen. So far they’v added one every other gen, so this gen is due one. Gen1-Magikarp, Gen2-none, Gen3-Feebus, Gen4-None, Gen5-???.
Or it could this gen’s new fossil. 😀
Or it could be this gen’s new fossil. 😀
ROFL, thank god the plant is fake xD
Am I the only one who liked the plant owl? Oh well.
Ya you probably are the only one XD.
Yes.
No you’re not the only one, I liked it too
Nope I liked it :p
Does that mean Darumakka’s arms and legs are NOT retractable as seen in this shot? :(. I thought that was so cute and neat!
I hope thats fake also. It just looks stupid the way they pop out like that. It was from a different screen though wasn’t it?
what i mean is i dont like the “retracted” version, the one without arms and legs. The one with them is awesome, im hoping the one without arms is fake, or he has a decent animation of retracting them
It isn’t fake, but I’m also hoping for a good animation. I don’t want arms and legs just popping in and out of his body ><
They are retractable don’t worry
They were kinda growing on me a little…
but I did think those two weren’t up to the same standard of pokemon we’ve seen revealed so far.
Why do you say those Pokémon are fake? You only have the comment of a person who didn’t prove they was the author of the supposed fakes.
The clear screenshots prove that he created them. We were also iffy because wakoishi and a grass pokemon were never mentioned by anyone as being encountered in the demo.
OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD
THANK. GOD. THAT. OWL. ISN’T. REAL. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am SO HAPPY THANK YOU PJ!!!!!!!!!!!!
what if basirou (4got how 2 spell) is the water rodent, like tentacool?
YYEEEESSS!
I hated that Plant Owl more than my sister. No joke.
I will miss the blue Geodude.
and good ridance with that plant owl beast like creature kind of thing…
Hey, Pokejungle, did you see this? ;o
http://pokemonblackandwhite.net/2010/08/05/clearer-image-of-the-two-secret-characters/
Sakura from Naruto and younger Fantina FTL. :/ I like the quality of the image, but I’m hoping that the characters overcome their first impression. Cutscenes = good, copy paste characters = bad.
Yeah but they’re just two girls :s If they were cute guys I might’ve posted it.
narghhhhh i showed that to paul a week or so ago. :/
I’ve seen this before but, the quality of this one is way much better.
Being in that specific cutscene….hmm, they must be really important characters.
I’ve liked the plant pokemon! It’s a pitty!
But I always thought that Wakoishi is very strange.
From Brasil, Vanrochris.
I also liked the plant Dx
Yeah the emonga sprite looked to simple, it didin’t look right. SO I’m glad it’ll have a better sprite 🙂
Too bad I actually really like wakoishi 🙂
Maybe you should take the time to confirm all of these pictures before posting them and getting people’s hopes up? Seriously, the excessive amount of fake information (posted as if it wasn’t fake) that has come from this site (and subsequently trickled out to other sites) is making me think I should reassess whether or not you’re at all a credible source of future Pokemon information.
As if all of this didn’t piss me off enough already, you went ahead and posted uncomfirmed (and clearly false) images of Tabunne.
Learn to internet.
:> To my credit the plant image was posted after SPP already had it up, wakoishi I did post first, but then SPP posted the image of Tabunne first. And any rumors are CLEARLY marked as such so there should be no question in a literate person’s mind as to what is fake until proven real and what is confirmed information.
And if you read my post on Tabunne I’ve already updated to say that indeed I DO think that screenshot is fake and pointed to the screenshot of what I think the the real tabunne is. I was the one who told SPP he really should put a disclaimer that tabunne might be fake. :s
lol someone has the same mind set as serebii. Its a shame really. 99% of the community would prefer to see all of the rumors. It gives us something to talk about.
Whenever a “new Pokemon” is posted up here, it is given that it should be taken with a pinch of salt.
This is because this site posts everything, INCLUDING rumours, it always has, it always will. It is what it is known for and it is what many people look for. To be able to look at all possibilities and judge for oneself instead of being spoon-fed what is real and what is not by other more robotic web masters.
The beauty of not holding back on possible news gives birth to a wider variety of opinions from a wider variety of people. This makes judging and information gathering much more thorough and efficient than anywhere else. People on PokeJungle are truly a PART of the news, they feel involved. You can’t get that on many other major sites.
Also for the record, I too lean towards Tabunne being fake. But what was it that allowed you to be able to see this and come to this conclusion? Yes. because it was posted. Because you were given the chance to judge instead of being told what to believe.
Kriff
amen.
Whatever, lol.
Although something you should think about, the image of what you “think” is Tabunne looks more to me like Kurumiru’s (a silk worm, judging by its appearance) cocoon form. Looks like the same black and white eyes, the two bulbous things on its head are the same and it appears to be entirely white in color. Also, the general shape is suggestive of a chrysalis, it’s relatively round near the top and sort of tapers at the bottom.
another indication that Kurumiru is a silk worm that will evolve into a silk moth is it’s classification: the Sewing Pokemon.
Ta-da.
-Melchior, Internet Superhero
Hmm that’s actually a really interesting theory.
If you look at the image of what I’m calling the “chrysalis pokemon” you can see that its “face” is the same general shape as if you flipped the leaf on Kurumiru’s collar down (like a helmet) leaving two holes for the eyes and a triangular, beak like shape in the front. PLDH has a closer up (albeit a tad more blurry) image of the same pokemon and I’ve reached the same conclusion.
where is the chysalis pokemon can post the link please
it’s the one PJ thinks could be Tabunne and also the one on PLDH.
Links are here:

http://media.pldh.net/screens/bw/blurry_bunny.png
What Chrysalis Pokemon? Did I miss something? (o.0)
um…i think the chrysalis pokemon is kurumiru.
uh..right? 😀
ohhh nvm, it’s kurumiru’s supossed evo?
right? 😀
lol, read my original post.
Yeah. I think that the “rabbit pokemon” which PJ thinks is the “real Tabunne” (see these links: http://pokejungle.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/bw_demo3.jpg – http://media.pldh.net/screens/bw/blurry_bunny.png ) is actually the evolution of Kurumiru. Here’s my reasoning:
Kurumiru is definitely a silk moth, a claim I base on his physical appearance and his classification (the Sewing Pokemon).
Silk Moth cocoons are generally upside down egg shaped and white. Those “Tabunne” pokemon appear to fit this description. They’re rotund, white, egg shaped globs with eyes and two bulbous protrusions on its head. They’re about Metapod/Kakuna/Cascoon/Silcoon sized and have very similar features to Kurumiru.
If you take the leaf behind Kurumiru’s head and flip it down over it, as if he was wearing a mask, it’s a perfect fit for the “face” of the “Tabunne” pokemon. Two holes for the eyes and a triangular “beak” looking “mouth” region. Wrap that in silk and you’ve got yourself its cocoon form.

O.o
that actually makes alot of sense…..
Emonga’s sprite looked like a ripoff of Pachirisu to me. Poorly scratched and poorly edited compared to all of the other OFFICIAL sprites, so I’m glad that it was a fake rather than just a terrible sprite on Nintendo’s part. Thank god that blasted plant Pokemon was fake; some Pokemon are ugly but that was just ridiculous. x__x

From the other thread. Is Basurao possibly a one eyed fish? Could this potentially evolve into some kind of blind fish?
Makes sense that he’s a water pokemon with sound based moves.
>Sonar. Dolphins. Submarines.
He looks sort of submarine-y to me.
That’s actually an awesome observation, since the black/red “rag”/skin completely wraps around that portion of his head (stretching down to his back). In the clearer image from last night, you can almost make out that the black/red thing is actually going over a tad bit of his visible eye, making it look like an eyepatch and bandanna cross-over. An angry pirate fish? Yes, please.
It might still have an eye just off to the side on the black spot, but I like this theory much more.
Yeah, the first time I saw that thing I was like, hmm, that looks like it’s got a nose and a big eye on the other side.
And then I thought. Hmm. It looks like it DOESN’T have an eye.
And now that you mention it, it DOES look like a pirate. Angry Pirate Fish FTW
interesting theory. BTW, are you Melkor, from pokexperto?
No. I’m Melchior.
Omg! This is amazing news!
YES! I’ve never hated a Pokemon design before but THAT! THAT plant thing splice was FUGLY! I’m so glad it’s fake!
I liked that rock thing though. It was cute.
The plant thing was obviously fake.. The text on its screen says “Ah! A wild Munna has appeared!” and the sprites look plain. Emonga’s sprite also looks plain. Wakoishi was pretty convincing for me though.
Correct! However when the image came out it was only the small corner with the plant Pokemon and Darumakka.
Bye bye flowl, thank god you’re fake.
I kinda meh about Wakoishi, but I won’t cry about it.

sorry that this got like triple posted, last night I’d post and it’d refresh and it looked like it didn’t go through.
does that mean emongas fake or just the pic of it?
Just the sprite/screenshot. It’s a real Pokemon.
Did anyone like the hideous horrible plant owl!?
I… kind of liked it. 🙁
I was more interested in the general idea of a burrowing owl mixed with a cactus, however.
I love owls. :< I want another one this generation, maybe as a legendary.
anyone else think that ALL of the pictures of Darumakka ‘without’ arms and legs are fake? Look at the markings on his belly. On the picture with arms and legs, the markings are tan (like Hihidaruma’s) but on the others they are gold…..
Or they could be glowing/shifting metallic in the light. 🙂
why would he have metallic markings on his chest? Neither it or Hihidaruma are steel and Hihidaruma doesnt have “metallic” markings either….
Thank god the hidious booger bird is fake! I knew the the first time I saw it that the pebble-headed thing with knife shaped rocks sticking out of it was fake!
THANK GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
STUPID GREEN THING!
Damn, too bad these are fake! I liked them except the plant >:
