July will bring new events featuring Sobble, Raichu and a celebration of Pokémon GO‘s 10th anniversary! Learn more below.
Sobble Community Day details
Sobble Community Day will take place on Saturday, July 4, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Evolving Drizzile, Sobble’s evolution, into Inteleon during the event will result in it knowing the featured attack Hydro Cannon. Encountering Shiny Sobble during the event will be much easier!
During Sobble Community Day, the following bonuses will be in effect:
- 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period.
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
- Lure Modules will last for one hour and may attract the featured Pokémon.
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.
- Trades will require 50% less Stardust.
In addition, starting with the event, Inteleon will be able to learn the Charged Attack Snipe Shot. It has 100 power in Gyms and Raids, and 65 power in Trainer Battles, where it also has a chance to raise the user’s Attack by two stages.
10th Anniversary Party details
From Saturday, July 4, at 10:00 a.m. until Monday, July 6, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time, the Pokémon GO 10th Anniversary Party will be taking place! Costumed Gimmighoul that is sporting a GO-inspired coin will be making its debut and will be sticking around through the end of the month.
While the event is active, the following bonuses will be in effect:
- 4× XP for catching Pokémon.
- 4× Stardust for catching Pokémon.
- Event-themed Pokémon appearing in the wild are more likely to be Shiny.
- Gimmighoul holding a 10th anniversary coin may have a Special Background!
- When you use a Coin Bag during this event, you may encounter Shiny Gimmighoul—if you’re lucky!
Other costumed Pokémon, such as Pikachu wearing a cake hat, Eevee wearing a party hat, Wurmple wearing a party hat will be appearing in the wild.
Raichu Super Mega Raid Day
Raichu Super Mega Raid Day will take place on July 18, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time and mark the debut of Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y. Players will be able to take advantage of the following bonuses:
- Remote Raid Pass limit increased to 20 from Friday, July 17, at 5:00 p.m. to Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. PDT.
- Receive up to six free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
- Raichu caught from Super Mega Raids will have Mega Level 1 unlocked.
- Increased chance of encountering Shiny Raichu from Super Mega Raids.
