Pokémon GO Hisui Celebration detailed, GO Fest Max Finale teased

Pokémon GO has teased a ‘Max Finale’ to the recent 2025 GO Fest event and also detailed the upcoming Hisui Celebration! It’s heavily implied in the Max Finale trailer that we’ll be seeing Eternatus in the game!

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Max Finale will be taking place August 23 and August 24, 2025.

Hisui Celebration details

The Hisui Celebration event was unlocked as part of the GO Fest 2025 challenges and will take place from Tuesday, July 8, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. During the event, Space-Time Anomalies will spawn and Hisuian Pokémon will appear.

The event will introduce Hisuian Zorua into the game, which can be evolved into Hisuian Zoroark with 50 Zorua Candy.

While the event is taking place, players can enjoy the following bonuses:

  • 4× XP for catching Pokémon
  • 4× Stardust for catching Pokémon
  • Increased chance to encounter Shiny Hisuian Voltorb and Shiny Hisuian Qwilfish
  • Increased chance to encounter Shiny Unown U from raids
  • Event-themed Collection Challenge
  • Event-themed Field Research tasks from spinning PokéStops
