The free-to-play puzzle game Pokémon Café ReMix is celebrating five years of service and has updated with a brand new feature: the ability to customize your café! In addition, Rayquaza is the star of a new event and can be obtained by players through participating. The update also adds Espeon and Umbreon in new Starry Sky outfits that are available through deliveries, the game’s gacha system.
Café customization comes to Pokémon Café ReMix
Players can now collect room themes and furniture and mix and match them to create a uniquely customized café in Pokémon Café ReMix. The primary Pokémon of a room can also be selected, so your favorite characters can be shown off. There’s also a blueprint system to save up to three custom layouts that can be switched out.
Customization items can be earned through gameplay, limited-time events and also optional in-game purchases for real-world money.
Currently, players can log in to receive the Starry room theme and earn additional matching room decorations through the Rayquaza event.
Rayquaza available for a limited time
Rayquaza is currently available to earn as an in-game character through the latest event celebrating the game’s fifth anniversary. There are also other rewards that players can earn, such as a 11-delivery ticket for Umbreon in its Starry Sky outfit and café customization items.

The game, which is available for both mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch, has also teased some additional upcoming characters and news and were featured in the trailer above:
- Torchic will be featured in the July monthly pass on the paid track
- Salamence will be appearing in a new event in which additional Starry café decorations can be earned
- New costumed Plusle and Minun will be coming in early July to deliveries
I absolutely love Café ReMix as a pick-up-and-play game that can be enjoyed when you have a couple of minutes of downtime. Highly recommend logging back in if you haven’t played in awhile! My tip would be to get into an active guild that participates in events so that you can help earn rewards, which can include new characters.
