In the run-up to the Pokémon GO Unova Tour, players can redeem codes to obtain research tasks that will award encounters with the Legendary Pokémon Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus!
Codes for Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus in Pokémon GO
The codes below will award a research task in Pokémon GO for the specified Pokémon. Each task has a time limit of just under 10 days and requires players to catch 156 Pokémon originally discovered in the Unova region.
Clicking on the code will open the GO code redemption page with the code filled in.

The fastest way to catch Pokémon originally discovered in Unova
Players will have a great opportunity to complete the research task on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, during the Spotlight Hour during which Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott will be spawning from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
If you miss the Spotlight Hour, you’ll have to just hunt for Wild Pokémon that were introduced in Generation V, so we recommend setting a reminder on your phone if you want to quickly make progress on the research!
