Fans can get their first look at the animated special Dragonite and the Mail Carrier in its first trailer. It will air on the Japanese Pokémon YouTube channel on February 27, Pokémon Day. It will most likely be released in English as well, although nothing has been announced yet. It is about 14 minutes in length.
The story centers around Hana, a young girl from the Paldea Region, who looks up to the mail carrier Dragonite and wishes to deliver letters as well someday.
The animation is done by CoMix Wave Films, Inc., which is known for critically acclaimed animated films such as Your Name and Suzume.
