What is Incense Day: Type Shuffle?
Niantic has devised a new type of event that they’re calling ‘Incense Day’. During the event period, April 19 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, incense will attract a specific type of Pokémon during between specific times.
Water-, Fire-, Grass-, Psychic-, Bug-, and Ground-type Pokémon will be featured during the day, for one hour each. This includes some rare Pokémon and also those with the chance to be shiny.
Pokémon spawns and when they occur
Event-long Pokémon spawns
Sentret will be drawn to incense throughout the entire event, which can also appear in its shiny form.
Pokémon spawning from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Water-type Pokémon will be drawn to incense during this time. Confirmed Pokémon that may appear are Poliwag, Tentacool, and Spheal. Clamperl may also appear rarely.
Pokémon spawning from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Fire-type Pokémon will be drawn to incense during this time. Confirmed Pokémon that may appear are Growlithe, Ponyta, and Houndour. Litwick may also appear rarely.
Pokémon spawning from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Grass-type Pokémon will be drawn to incense during this time. Confirmed Pokémon that may appear are Oddish, Roselia, and Lileep. Ferroseed may also appear rarely.
Pokémon spawning from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Psychic-type Pokémon will be drawn to incense during this time. Confirmed Pokémon that may appear are Slowpoke, Baltoy, and Bronzor. Gothita may also appear rarely.
Pokémon spawning from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Bug-type Pokémon will be drawn to incense during this time. Confirmed Pokémon that may appear are Caterpie, Ledyba, and Skorupi. Joltik may also appear rarely.
Pokémon spawning from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Bug-type Pokémon will be drawn to incense during this time. Confirmed Pokémon that may appear are Wooper, Barboach, and Hippopotas. Drilbur may also appear rarely.

In addition to the variety of Pokémon appearing throughout the event, several bonuses will also available to take advantage of:
- Incense continues to last 1 hour
- A bundle of 3 incenses will be available to purchase for 1 PokéCoin in the shop

Running low on Poké Balls? Make sure to open any gifts from friends you may have and return the favor by sending one back! You may also pick up a few extra goodies, such as berries, which will make catching the rare Pokémon easier.

It pains me to see such a glaring lack of activity but who can blame everyone…
The world is off its axis and things are reduced to such meager snippits of positive information both in the real and fictional world.
My only hope is that if we can survive through May we’ll finally get some action with whatever Nintendo will give us through E3 or whatever they decide to call it. I have faith that we’ll finally see a boon of both people and spirits when Isle of Armor comes out and we see the new areas, and Galarian forms we still know extremely little and that withdrawn information is what will unite us all again because truly and honestly my depression has gone through the roof from the pandemic because it has absolutely shifted my and clearly everyone else’s lives and i miss the old days when everyone was around and we did stuff together as a community
I know everyone’s been glued to Animal Crossing NH but I still feel like our gaming lives could be a bit more social but maybe that’s just me
