Pokémon GO outlines plans for April 2020 events

Many players are stuck at home, but that doesn’t mean Niantic isn’t trying to still make Pokémon GO fun. Earlier today they announced that they were looking into ways to make raiding from home possible—a big step forward for those who can no longer attend raids for rare Pokémon.

Now we also have more details about what’s happening in April to look forward to as well. From the official site:

Shadow Entei and The Shadowy Threat Grows Special Research

For the month of April, Shadow Entei will still be available to save from Giovanni! There will not be a new set of Team GO Rocket Special Research in April. If you haven’t had a chance to finish The Shadowy Threat Grows yet, now you have until the end of April.

April Research Breakthrough encounter: Alolan Exeggutor with bonus Stardust

From Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. to Friday, May 1, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7), the Coconut Pokémon Alolan Exeggutor will be available as a Research Breakthrough encounter, and it’ll come with bonus Stardust.
