The Path to Sword & Shield begins to draw to a close… The day is almost upon us… Countless trainers are almost ready to start their next Pokémon adventure and uncover the secrets, wonders and joys the Galar region has to offer!

We hope all of our readers are as excited as we are to get our hands on the game, just one more day until Christmas comes early this year! We’re back with a JungleASKS just in time for the games releasing and our question for you this time is:

What are you most excited for on your adventure in the Galar region?

Maybe you can’t wait to discover some of the new Pokémon found in Galar? Perhaps you’re filled to the brim with excitement about taking on the Galar League? Or are you just excited to cook hundreds of delicious curries for you and your Pokémon?

  9. So after rethinking it, I restarted the game because the ID number wasn’t suiting me. Anyway, after restarting until this very morning, the last try before leaving for work was the good one (925387). Only took almost 8hrs and no sleep haha .. You may think I’m crazy but at least my OCD is now please and I’ll get to hunt for my Jolly/Adamant Grookey once back home from work. I’m an happy bee.

  10. I know lots of you are very busy starting your adventures in Galar, but I wanted to say that my Living Dex is already off to the races! It’s going to be a long process but the younger me thought way ahead to make this more streamlined. Turns out I’d prepared all the fully evolved starters from Gens 1-6 way back in 2013 and the last few legendaries I was missing. I also have the majority of the trade evolutions all ready to go so now there are just a few I’ll need help with (including Galarian forms). I’ll also need to make room for various other forms, although there’s no way I can get them all even if I wanted to. This’ll be exhausting and potentially nerve-wracking but I’m deadset on moving my entire Living Dex to Home around the time it launches. Then I can add the Galar Pokemon onto the end like Lego bricks! To me, this will mark a certain conclusion to a phase of my Pokemon journey where I can look at that collection and know where my dedication has taken me.

  11. Due to shipping.. not getting my game until the 20th!
    Anyways, they Really screwed Togetic over.
    No more roost, defog, and nothing worth while new to replace them. I can no longer justify using him. .. Sorry buddy, but I think Cinerace is my new favorite and partner!😢

  14. I was absorbed with my Galar Journey I forgot to regal y’alls with the fact that I WAS THE FIRST PERSON AT GAMESTOP TO GET THEIR COPIES

    First to get it and first to leave
    I SRed until I got an Adamant Grookey
    I found my Rash Rolycoly right off the bat in the Premier Ball
    And tomorrow morning I will continue farming Chewtle until Strong Jaw and a decent nature
    My Zigzagoon is strictly Dusk Ball so I gotta wait

    I am full of pita chips and sprite and I need sleep goodnight

  18. I LOVE IT OMG
    OK now to elaborate upon that:

    I went it with the idea of a set team like in past games but I threw it out of the window the moment I saw the eXP share mechanics. I’ve instead gone with a more catch what I want and keep swapping out approach, which honestly is amazing, although might take a while for veteran players to wrap their heads around. I love that I get to use more than six Pokémon and not feel like bad about it.

    The max raid battles are THRILLING
    theyre honestly quite difficult if you haven’t trained TOO much (which I suggest you don’t do, as there will be plenty of opportunities for experience by the natural course of the game)

    For people who say the overall difficulty is too easy need to understand that the game is literally screaming at you that it’s time to change up your play style. All the QoL changes means that you literally have no reason to grind for eXP and level and if you do and end up being over leveled and finding the gym battles too easy, then I’m afraid that’s on you.

    Camera controls are nice in the wild area but i can’t see a reason why not all over (if someone knows please illuminate me why)

    Overall much better than I expected even after seeing all the leaks and multiple streams which just goes to show that you’ll only know how you truly feel about the games (subjectively speaking, as a veteran) until you play them yourselves.

    I’m not saying I’m still not miffed about a few things, but they’ve greatly paled in comparison to everything I love about the games. I’m truly having a blast and I think at the end of the day that’s what matters!

  23. Guys, could anyone give me a female Toxel? I would even give it back after I got my own. I just managed to take the only neutral one that doesn’t evolve into Amped and only realized 30 minutes later. I obviously don’t have a Ditto yet but I really want to use it against Nessa. If anyone could help me out, I’d be incredibly grateful.

  24. Well today’s the day! In a few hours I’ll be starting my adventure with sobble! So excited! First things first going to doctor to hopefully get the crap I’ve had going on under control! Then hopefully by 11 am I’ll have shield!
