The Path to Sword & Shield begins to draw to a close… The day is almost upon us… Countless trainers are almost ready to start their next Pokémon adventure and uncover the secrets, wonders and joys the Galar region has to offer!

We hope all of our readers are as excited as we are to get our hands on the game, just one more day until Christmas comes early this year! We’re back with a JungleASKS just in time for the games releasing and our question for you this time is:

What are you most excited for on your adventure in the Galar region?

Maybe you can’t wait to discover some of the new Pokémon found in Galar? Perhaps you’re filled to the brim with excitement about taking on the Galar League? Or are you just excited to cook hundreds of delicious curries for you and your Pokémon?

  1. I don’t like the “Not Usable Moves”. This ones are gone forever? Or can be back in the future? Both situations are very bad!!!

    Gone forever: We lost some iconics moves…
    Can be back: We will risk delete some good ones from a legacy pokemon…

    • I’m concerned about how buffed mons this gen will interact with the ones who weren’t buffed.
      I’m sure those moves will come back at some point but… How will they go about buffs in the future?

  2. Is anybody choosing Sobble willing to breed one for me? I know you can trade about an hour in, I don’t know what I could do give in return, but I’d be willing to take requests (preferably for something that can be gotten early in the game)

  5. My package with the double pack, Incineroar and Simon amiibo has shipped! Tomorrow will be so great. It’s only just hit me how long it’s been since we’ve had a brand new Pokémon adventure. I also printed out a full National Pokédex list so I can make progress on my Living Dex while physically crossing out names. It’s going to be a busy couple of months but I’m more than ready!

    I’m sitting in first in line at my GameStop with my preorder prescreening slip and I must endure a long 45 minute wait and then I’ll be playing Sword and Shield

    I plan on playing a short while mainly until I get a Jolly Grookey but after that and maybe a lil while I’ll stop and go to sleep

  20. The final mon I’m reviewing before SwSh comes out; Copperajah!

    Type: Steel
    Abilities: Sheer Force/ Heavy Metal (Hidden Ability- this is trash)
    Base Stats
    HP: 122
    Attack: 139
    Defense: 69
    Special Attack: 80
    Special Defense: 69
    Speed: 30

    Another Pokemon to add to the “hits like a truck” and “Slow as fucc” piles! This time it’s mono steel!!!!
    In a generation where a Pokemon that not only falls into BOTH these exact categories but also has the same type exists!
    THIS IS LITERALLY SCUFFED MELMETAL WHAT THE F-

    Pros!
    + Look at that attack stat! Look at that speed! This hits like a metal Darmanitan!
    + Gets way more coverage than it would initially appear to. Notable weird ones include power whip, play rough, and heat crash, the latter of these is nice for hitting certain mons
    + That HP, even in spite of its lackluster defenses is enough to make it hard to take down.
    + Mono Steel is not a bad type by any means. Lots of resistances, immunity to toxic, nice stuff.
    + The gigantamax form can set up spikes, and it can put up rocks too. It’s a hazard setter that can hit hard

    Cons
    – That speed? Abysmal. Literally trash. If not on a trick room team it’s gonna be a mon that struggles to do much.
    – Its less-than-stellar defenses combined with its lack of recovery means its going to be getting worn down pretty fast. Thankfully Toxic can’t hit it, but Will-O-Wisp will do a number to it.
    – As great as sheer force is offensively, it would likely do better with something that helped its defenses
    – debuted in a generation full of other (and honestly better) steel types, with a few exceptions

    • I would have preferred if it were Steel/Fire and based more on a forge. It basically looks like one to me anyway. G-Max one needs more cowbell.
