More Gen III Pokémon Now Available in GO!
Pokémon Crystal Now Available on eShop
Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon
- It’s been revealed through the official 2018 VGC rules that Version 1.2 of USUM is on its way soon. Until this update is rolled out the following moves are banned: Curse, Forest’s Curse, String Shot, and Power Trick
- The third USUM Global Mission has concluded in success! With 1,111,490 battles won at the Battle Agency we blew the 100,000 goal outta the water! You can now pick up your gift of 2,000 FC (4,000 FC if your game is connected to the Global Link) in the Festival Plaza
Pokkén Tournament DX
- Reminder that the first part of Pokkén Tournament DX’s Battle Pack DLC is available later this week on January 31st! This DLC adds the playable Pokkén Fighter Aegislash and new support Pokémon Mega Rayqauza and Mimikyu to the game
- Along with the DLC’s release on Wednesday a new update for the game will be available for download. This patch includes several balance updates for the playable Pokémon as well as a compatibility with the Nintendo Switch’s capture feature – allowing to record and upload the last 30 seconds of game play
- From February 9th through February 12th you can participate in the Psyfirecracker Group Match! This cup features a Fixed Battle Arena Basic Battle competition with participants receiving special title rewards based on Braixen depending on their placement
New 3DS Themes
- Two brand new Pokémon 3DS themes have been released in Japan! These themes feature prominent figures in Team Plasma. One for BW (featuring N, Ghetsis, The Sages, Genesect) and another for BW2 (featuring N, Ghetsis, Colress, Shadow Triad, Kyurem). These themes are currently only available for purchase in the Japanese theme shop for ¥200, and although there hasn’t been any announcement for an international release, one is imminent
Pokémon x Amazon Prime
- For those Amazon Prime subscribers in North America, Amazon has announced a special Pokémon channel that will let you watch seasons 2-5 and 10-16 of the Pokémon anime series, along with a regularly rotating selection of the Pokémon movies
P-Sports
- For those interested, you can watch the first episode of P-Sports ~Aim to be a Pokémon Master~, the new Pokémon e-sports TV show, on YouTube
Pokémon GO
- The next Pokémon GO Community Day has been announced for February 24th and will feature 3x Stardust, 3 hour lures, and a special Dratini with a yet to be announced exclusive move! Check out the event time period for each region:
- The Americas & Greenland: 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM PST (GMT -8)
- Europe, the Middle East, Africa, & India: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM UTC (GMT +0)
- The Asia-Pacific region: 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM JST (GMT +9)
Pokémon Duel
- Version 5.0.7 of the mobile game is now available for download
Pokémon Shuffle
- The new UB Challenge Kartana stage is available until February 6th and costs 20,000 coins to unlock
- The new Golisopod and Azumarill (Winking) stages are also available until February 6th
- The Tapu Koko and Tapu Fini stages have begun repeat runs until February 6th, while the Mikiyu stage is currently having a repeat run until January 30th

I’m taking a math class called Abstract Algebra, Orgo II, and Physics II. I got As in Orgo I and Physics I last semester so I hope to do the same this one too!
Why can’t I be lucky? My two worst subjects I have no one to be with (Math I literally despise the whole class, while I have a single friend in Chem. that sits on the other side of the room from me)
And judging on how my classes have gone, if I have friends in my classes I excel better than without

Not really I don’t think, which is unfortunate, more risks were taken in the earlier anime. Also his banter with Misty has never been replicated in any of his travelling companions since.

With only level up it learns Grass and Normal, with one poison and 2 psychic
I’d actually like Grass/Rock as it’s a pretty good combination that we’ve only had one of.

Well yeah, but the mainline of Pkm series wasn’t always that strategic, they’re much more casual. But yeah double battles are very underused but I don’t think it should make that big of a jump.

None of these are as big as having double battles take over single ones. These were almost secondary stuff while double battle taking over is almost a change in the combat considering how singles and doubles flow.

They make two versions because trade and collect is one of the goals of the game and there’s neither enough Pokemon overall or rarity levels to make a good trade economy
They probably said that because Pokémon fans opinions change faster than their games sell
Except you’re forgetting that Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum all were one version. No, they didn’t include new pokemon like USUM did, but they had exclusive forms. They didn’t need to make two versions, but they did. This is evident in that “Stars,” which is what USUM came out of, was a single version.
It’s clear we’re not going to agree on this. I believe trading has evolved to the point where version exclusives aren’t really necessary. The GTS exists pretty much to sit full of ridiculous requests and a lot of trading that occurs outside of that is for breedjects or apricorn ball pokemon. Trading would still occur if there were no exclusives.
Lol third versions removed Pokemon from the first two versions every time, let’s not pretend being two versions was USUM’s worst flaw
Breejects and ballmons aren’t as desirable as exclusives for the majority of fans (kids and casuals) lol

Not really, this is a direct change to their battle format. Those all still are single battles that can turn into 1×2 battles. Maybe having the option would be nice though. Or at the least if they keep wild mons summoning pokemon let us send in another one as well.

I imagine it would have to be singles until a certain point in the game that forces you to catch more pokemon.
Maybe the capture tutorial actually has you capture the ‘mon. The issue would be that you’d be forced to carry 2 Pokemon instead of 1 which would be a pain, especially when breeding. Also if your Pokemon faint and only 1 remains what would it do? Would you be unable to move forward?
Either:
1) Pokemon Refresh can revive now
or
2) You black out and are escorted back to the pokemon center if and only if you have no revives available
I think the capture tutorial could work.
It would make it so you can only carry 4 eggs at a time though, unless they add an egg pouch which carries 6 and doesn’t affect your team where everything hatched automatically goes to your PC.

Something that I would really like is to have the option for evolutions to occur during battles. If your pokemon levels up then it has the option to evolve. I think it’d make battles a lot more interesting and memorable.
