After months of eagerly anticipating the enhanced version of last year’s hit titles Pokémon Sun & Moon, it’s finally time to dive into Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon!

Another Question regarding Top 10s. So If youre making a top ten of each pokemon type, would you just only catergorize pokemon with their primary type? (IE you would only put garchomp in dragon’s list, not ground, but you can appreciate it in ground) This does avoid the constant repeats, or would you say it doesnt matter.

If you want, what you could do is only place the Pokemon in the type list that it more closely identifies with. i.e Lucario I would only put in a Fighting list and not a Steel one.

Quick question. What makes Dusk Lycanroc superior to the other two forms? Is it just because of Tough Claws or is there more?

It’s slower, falling into the overcrowded base 110 speed group.
Tough Claws, 2 more in attack (the -2 speed is not that bad)

The only difference in stats is that exactly 2 POINTS are shifted from speed to attack
This allows a few more pokemon such as godspeed purugly to outspeed it
That’s what I thought, I’ve seen people mention it a few times how significantly better Dusk Form is and I was confused.
In fact I think the speed hindrance is a bigger issue that negligible attack difference. But I guess Tough Claws is good, though it doesn’t help its main STAB Stone Edge.

Tough Claws compared to Midday’s three trash abilities. It’s a free life orb for contact moves.
Tough Claws is actually nice powering up Accelerock, making Drill Run hit harder than Earthquake would have, powering up the Fang move if anyone uses them.
But it’s just speed stat that is concerning. It now ties with the plethora of base 110s.
With the tough claws boost i guess you could run choice scarf jolly nature on it. Unless you wanted to use it signature z move. Then probably set up a sticky web on your opponent or tailwind for your team from one of your other pokemon
Supposedly, according to Serebii, all the Totem given to you will have their hidden ability except for Salazzle and Lurantis. I am slightly steamed about this because I wanted to use a Totem-size Contrary Lurantis. Why Gamefreak! I didn’t think anything that you would do in these games would disappoint me GF, but I was wrong.

I swear to god my two golden retrievers are Midday and Midnight Lycanrocs. My older one is super gentle and has leaner paws and is less muscular. Like how did they get there, how have they survived ?
Theory is parallel timelines/dimensions rather than completely unique ones, so that’s why we find these regular Pokémon there. No idea why it’s measured in light years tho
