Silvally Event
- For our European readers, the Shiny Silvally event is now live in various locations throughout Europe until November 16th! You can check our dedicated Shiny Silvally Event post for details, but the distribution channels are as follows:
- Belgium – Nintendo Zone, FNAC, Game Mania & Smartoys
- France – Micromania
- Germany – Gamestop via Nintendo Zone
- Italy – Gamestop
- The Netherlands – Game Mania via Nintendo Zone

Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You
- For our readers in the US, two new dates for the theatrical release of the film have been announced! You will now be able to get tickets for showtimes on November 11th and 14th through Fathom Events. Unfortunately, the TCG Promo Card and QR Code for the I Choose You Cap Pikachu will not be distributed at these screenings
Toys ‘R’ Us
- For those in North America, you can head to your local Toys ‘R’ Us on Saturday November 11th from 1pm-3pm for another Pokémon giveaway! Those who attend will receive a special holo Toys ‘R’ Us Jangmo-o TCG card , a Crimson Invasion mini collector’s album, and a build-it-yourself Mega Construx Pokéball! The first 50 attendees at each store will also receive a Togedemaru figurine, but unfortunately Canadian stores will not be giving out the Pokéball
Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon
- A new “Strange Evil” trailer has been released on Nintendo’s official English YouTube channel, along with a new overview trailer on the official Japanese Pokémon channel! Neither show any new info aside from a few short bits of new footage, but still great to watch nonetheless!
- The games are now available for digital preload across all regions in the Nintendo eShop
- The next bit of new information for the games will be released on November 9th, 10pm PST (November 10th, 2pm JST/5am UTC)
Pikachu Talk
- The newly announced Pikachu Talk app lets you talk to Pikachu via Google Home or Amazon Alexa devices! This is a completely free app that will be released in Japan later this year and in 2018 everywhere else
Pokémon GO
- A new Pokémon Safari event will be held at the Tottori Sand Dunes in Tottori, Japan on November 24th, 25th, and 26th! This Safari Zone will show an increase of spawns for several Ground and Water-type Pokémon, Fossil Pokémon, as well as spawns for Mr. Mime and as of yet unspecified letters of Unown. Unfortunately, it’s been confirmed that there won’t be any special Raids. In addition to the in game festivities a pop-up Pokémon Center store will be open for business, and Pikachu will make special appearances at the nearby Aeon Mall.
- Shiny Shuppet, Banette, Duskull, and Dusclops are now all available in game
- The Raid Battle Bosses for each tier have been updated with new Pokémon! The list of new bosses is as follows:
- NEW LEVEL 1 BOSSES: Metapod, Ivyaur, Charmeleon, Wartortle
- NEW LEVEL 2 BOSSES: Mageneton, Sableye, Sandslash, Tentacruel, Marowak, Cloyster
- NEW LEVEL 3 BOSSES: Ninetales, Scyther, Omastar, Porygon
- NEW LEVEL 4 BOSSES: Poliwrath, Victreebel, Golem, Nidoking, Nidoqueen
Pokémon Shuffle
- The new Ultra Challenge stage featuring Xurkitree is available until November 7th – This stage can only be played 10 times and requires 20,000 coins to play
- Palossand’s stage runs until November 14th
- Both the Litten and Drifblim stages have begun repeat runs until November 7th
