Event Reminders

  • The Unova Cap Pikachu event will be ending this Monday, October 16th. Be sure to use the code PIKACHU20 in Mystery Gift to get this event ‘mon while you can, and remember: you can only get one of the Ash Hat Pikachu – use the code wisely! Unova Cap Pikachu comes with the moves Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Iron Tail & Volt Tackle, as well as the Pikashunium Z Z-Crystal

Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon

  • Pre-loading for the digital version of the games will begin on November 2nd, 2017
  • The games will require 3.6GB of space each

Pokémon Global Link

  • The Pokémon Global Link will be down for maintenance from November 10th, 2017 until November 17th, 2017 where it will reopen for Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon connectivity. During this time frame, all functions that require the Pokémon Global Link will not work in Pokémon Sun & Moon. All Global Link users who register Pokémon Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon to their account upon the Global Link’s reopening will receive a “special gift”

Pokken Tournament DX

  • A new update has been announced for the Nintendo Switch exclusive! Although the patch isn’t currently live it will add several new features once available:
    • The ability to play Team Battle matches online
    • Access new rewards when you reach higher ranks in online Ranked Matchs including special titles in Official Groups
    • Adding the Recording feature in Free Training which allows you to manipulate, record and playback your opponent’s moves
    • Various bug fixes

Detective Pikachu Film

  • Legendary Picture’s Detective Pikachu film is set to begin shooting January 2018 in London


  • You can now head down to your local Build-A-Bear to create your very own Vulpix plush! It comes with an exclusive TCG card and has several accessories made just for it that you can purchase additionally. Pictures of the plush are down below in the merchandise section

McDonald’s November Happy Meal

  • For those in America, popular fast food chain and future ruler of the free world, McDonald’s, will be including a random Pokémon toy and special holofoil paper re-print TCG card (which have been exclusive to McDonald’s since 2011) throughout the month of November to coincide with the release of Pokémon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon! This Happy Meal campaign is a repeat of the ones that occurred in Australia and the UK over the past few months

Pokémon Video Game Championships – EU

  • For our European readers, registration for the 2017 European International Championships is now available through the official site! It costs €30 to enter for Junior and Senior Players, €45 for Masters, and €10 for spectators. Taking place from November 17th to November 19th the event is set to be livestreamed with commentators

Pokémon Shuffle

  • A new update is available for both the 3DS and mobile version of the game! This update adds several new main stages
  • Special stages for Poliwrath and Camerupt have begun – they both run until October 17th
  • The Mega Camerupt competitive stage will run until October 17th. Top players will receive prizes such as Cameruptite (or a Level Up if you already have the Mega Stone), Mega Speedups, Raise Max Levels, and more!
  • The Politoed and Volcanion stages have begun repeat runs, ending October 17th and 24th respectively
