During the Nintendo Direct earlier today exciting news was revealed about the upcoming titles Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. The games add two new Ultra Beasts: UB Assembly (Ultra Moon) and UB Burst (Ultra Sun)! The first looks like a giant tower of bricks while the latter has a unique clown-like appearance. You can see them below in the trailer.
In addition, the details we saw earlier from CoroCoro leaks have also been confirmed. After Necrozma captures either Solgaleo or Lunala it will become Dusk Mane Necrozma or Dawn Wings Necrozma, respectively. It also gains access to their signature moves as well! The Japanese trailer has a bit better view of the cutscene.
In addition, Lycanroc will be able to use a new Z-Move called Splintered Stormshards when it uses the Z-Crystal Lycanium Z. Players who buy Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon upon release will get a special Rockruff which knows Fire Fang (Ultra Sun) or Thunder Fang (Ultra Moon) as well as Happy Hour. It will be distributed holding a Focus Band.

I like the cut-scene for the Necrozma take-over. I really like the Lycanroc Z-Move and how it changes time of day depending on which form is using it. The effect is surprising, though it still probably won’t be much use against the Tapus since they’ll most likely find a way to out-speed and kill it.

I agree with Assembly, but I think Burst is at least part Fire type. It’s signature move gets used on Metagross in the Direct and Decidueye in the trailer. Both cases it’s super effective. Meaning it’s move, and logically it’s typing, should be either Fire, Ghost, or Dark. The name Burst makes Fire Type make the most sense. I would gladly take a Fire/Fairy type.

Considering that UBs in the past (that have been counterparts) have a same typing involved, I think that both these UBs are actually Ghost, with Assembly being Rock/Ghost, while Burst is Fire/Ghost.

I’m happier with these games than I was before the direct and I am looking forward to future news releases. Now they have to reveal or tease new info. What I am wondering is if we will officially learn about the new UB typings before release. If I am remembering correctly, I don’t think they revealed those typings of the revealed UB officially.

Well the fact that Hau was with Hala when UB Assembly made its entrance leads me to believe that there will be some significant changes to the plot at the very least. Since he was with us at the Aether Foundation when the UB met with Hala in SM. There is also the fact where they teased that there was either a change or lack of a Kiawe’s Fire Trial.
And they’ve added new areas. Pikachu valley is cute and I like the naming.
Necrozma scenes were intense.
These games have the potential to be great esp. storywise.

I think it kinda does right now? I mean idk, I haven’t been feeling too great or happy really for a while and not having a Pokémon game I’m excited about makes that worse for me for sure.
Well I am not sure how much I can help with that through this comment section aside from providing humorous quips from time to time that will hopefully lighten someone’s day. Maybe, if you haven’t done so before, try taking out some time to be of service to others. I find it to be quite a fulfilling experience that illuminates perspective of the world that are unfamiliar. Especially, if the service is for a marginalized group. But this is just one suggestion, relieving stress by playing games or coming on to Pokejungle is fine as well. It is a difficult time for someone at your age simply because it might be the first time you are facing adversity-physical or mental-and you are gaining a better grasp of reality and how it may not be that “Sunny”. What is important at this point is not to shy away from it. It will be difficult at times but family, friends, and forums like Pokejungle are more than willing to support you during these tough times-small or large. Sorry if I went off on a rant and that I may have been nagging a bit.

All these Pokemon are rare late game captures that won’t level up fast enough and I need to at least trade from gold to get Teddiursa. And I don’t have to remind everyone that leveling in GSC is tedious
I seem to be getting contradictory info from Serebii.net on Heracross, the earliest it is said to appear is Route 29 and there is a 30% chance of it appearing by Headbutt. However, when I look at Pokearth I don’t see it on any of the routes’ Headbutt Pokémon. If you can help clear this confusion for me I would be quite grateful.
Well seeing how you dont get headbutt until the forest. I would go with route 33. and I thought heracross was only found in the mornings. Thats probably wrong, but It its is found in route 33 with headbutt
You’re correct and there’s only two trees so it has to be in one of them
There is a sure fire way I did it
You have to beat the Azelea Gym (Make sure to save Fury Cutter) and get cut, find the headbutt guy and give it to your starter
Then backtrack to route 33 there’s only two trees and Heracross is listed there so unless the system is just randomly plomping them wherever one of them has to have it
So just smash your skull into them until one pops out, you might need to put it to sleep or confuse it so it doesn’t flee
But let me reassure you it can do decent damage via Horn attack and save Fury Cutter so it has a Stab Bug move and also give it Rock Smash after Goldenrod

I really hate to be that person….but I have never liked the Ultra Beasts….their designs have always been extremely strange and offputting to me, and I see them more as aliens than Pokémon. =(
On a different note, I am optimistic that with the introduction of new UBs, this may mean that other new Pokémon may be introduced, not just new forms/Alolan Forms!!!
I personally would LOVE new Alolan Forms for Johto Pokémon (Can you say a snowy owl Ice/Flying HootHoot and Noctowl?!)
But if they surprised even further….with actual new Pokémon (not counting UBs and forms)??? GOOD. LORD. YES.
I am also hoping for an Ice/Flying Noctowl. However, we have already gotten three evolutionary lines of Pokémon that have Ice typing-which is a good number for a generation-so I wouldn’t put your expectations too high.

I don’t really like the Tynamo line for some reason. The first stage is too diffrent from the third stage and the second stage is too simmilar too the third (Like, I thought they were one pokemon for some time). And also secondary Water type could help it.
Secondary water typing would at least explain why it has Levitate, since eels dont touch the ground.

Haven’t used Jynx. There’s a trick to win the contest for the stone. You could technically win with a Weedle lol. Don’t injure the Pokemon at all. Go for a high level too. Of course if you find a rare bug that’s great, but again you could win with a stage 1 mon. At least that’s how it works in HGSS. In GS I’m not sure.
Thanks for the tip. Yea I am using Jynx in this team. I am likely never to use Jynx in any future games unless it gets something like a Mega or a regional form. Considering the initial controversy with that Pokémon and how it was not given an evolution in Generation 4, I don’t think they are going to do either.

The inclusion of Lick makes me think Bearry is a Bear Pokémon that likes to lick Honey from Honeycombs. (I don’t know that is the first thing that came to mind). So it being a Grass type is a little concerning since the Bees would be Bug types and would harm the bear according to type effectiveness. However, that is not how it is in real life, this is contrary to the typing relationship of Durant and Heatmor. I would make it Grass/Steel. You would just need to give it one Steel type move-Gyro ball for example- kind of like the case with Minior.

So we saw the cut scene with Hala and Hau where Burst and Assembling replace Pheromosa and Buzzwlole.
I think the new Ultra beasts (a total of 4) will replace the past “couples” ones (UB2 and UB4). This is why we saw Kartana in its US whilethe new UBs are seen in the wild. Maybe the past, replaced ones will be a postgame thing to catch in other dimensions.

Yo everyone, let me know what you think of this speculation. A secret gems of the recent trailers is surprisingly the little nod they gave to Rockruff for the 4th time so far. We see that the Dex number changed from 103 to 126. For that to happen there would need to be 23 Pokémon to be added to the Pokedex. Now my speculation is that these 23 Pokémon include the Island Scan Pokémon which weren’t in the Dex in SM. This is 21 Pokémon in total. However, Pokémon that are found in the water or Pseudo legendaries like the Bagon line are listed after Rockruff. Thus, it might just be 15-18 of the 21 Island Scan Pokémon that are listed before Rockruff. This leaves 8-5 Pokémon left over. Now I believe that these Pokémon could be new Alola variants (2-4 lines). There is also the new Surfers bay that has to be considered so that might have some bearing. Its addition should not affect the placement of the Water Pokémon after Rockruff in the SM Pokedex because the Pokémon in the water should be as accessible as the Pokémon in Kala’e bay. However, if the Ride Mantine is accessible early on (this is a big if because gaining access to a surfing or diving Poke ride before completing the 1st island is kind of a stretch). Thus, assuming that addition of areas do not affect the placement of Pokémon that were already in the SM Pokedex with respect to the placement of Rockruff and that Island Scan Pokémon are added to the Pokedex, I hypothesize that there will be 2-4 more Alola variant lines in Melemele Island.

Not really entire. Most of it, of course are children/young teens but a part of his fanbase are older teens/adults (not a giant part). Also when he does something wrong, the entire internet will talk about it. He is the biggest youtuber ever.

Overall what do you think of the game
I only had time to play 30 minutes but so far I love it. Super fun. The 360 aim and backthefuckup attack are both awesome additions that spice up combat in a really fun way.
I like that there is more of a visual tell when areas open themselves up after killing Metroids and the bottom screen map just makes everything so convinient.
Really excited to play it again when I get home
There’s so many things wrong with this review:
1. It isn’t what anybody expected, people expected Metroid 2 with 3D graphics but they got a Reboot that’s more different from the original game than people expected it to be.
2. Something original like Breath of the Wild which is noticeable different from other Zelda games or Odyssey with a feature never seen in any other mario game before?
3. No reason to release Prime 4 in 2014 after the Primes before that didn’t sell very well, this date is perfect because the Metroid hype is higher than ever.
4. Melee HD? Who wants a Remake of an unbalanced game with few characters whose only half of these are atleast decent competitively.
5. Yeah, Xeno 2, a game that nobody cares even tho its latest trailer got 182k views and 4k likes after two days of being released
6. Just because the graphics aren’t ultra realistic doesn’t mean they are bad
I personally want Melee HD because of how unbalanced it is. That way, when me and my friends play it, we can all laugh and scream at each other. Good times.
