In their official blog, Niantic has confirmed that the first ever Legendary Pokémon will be at GO Fest – but only if trainers around the world successfully meet the capture goals set throughout the weekend. If trainers in Chicago manage to defeat it, it will start appearing in Raid Battles across the globe. Niantic also revealed that Legendary Pokémon can be used to battle Gyms, but they cannot be used to defend them.

Are you psyched or what?!

  1. Boring, so I’m officially in Canada,
But in other news today’s episode was really good
That Alolan Marowak is my kinda Pokemon, although I hate how skinny its body is…its head is just bigger

But nonetheless some really good Turtonator development and a new capture is always a pleaser

    Also that freaking hiker….

  2. Guys we all know this one…

They set a special event in the festival and it will be Mewtwo as the first Legendary Boss

Or I had a hunch they may do Ho-Oh to announce the next movie in the US

  3. Also…way to make legendaries super boring. You have to do a raid battle which is impossible to win, then you have to hatch it, then you can’t even defend gyms with them

  4. Ok so yet 2 play SM.
Which one would you guys recommend??
Apparently some trainers at Battle tree are exclusive to each version, which one gets better/more difficult trainers and exclusive mons/any other differences?
    Sun or Moon???

  6. Tired…..very very tired of Canada
Literally everyone here smokes which is poisonous to me
Just want to go home and buy Splatoon 2 since y’all are gonna have a ginormous head start ranking up…..

Also finally Gabite evolved and I can officially start grinding the Elite Four
A A Ron is tough since I don’t have a strong enough Fire attack other than Flame Wheel
Bertha will be cake since of Floatzel and Abomasnow
The red head also easy since of Garchomp and Rampardos
And lastly whatshisface will be Drapion’s chew toy

  7. My family might be moving to UK in 2 years, cause politics in Poland might turn into dictature… Our free broadcasting channel, most of the political scene and supreme court are/will all be controlled by one party…

    TLDR, I might move, Poland’s f*cked

  8. Prediction: Nintendo will release Animal Forest on the N64 Classic (the original version of Animal Crossing previously only released in Japan), to coincide with the release of Animal Crossing Switch in 2018.

  9. So what’s this talk about a N64 Classic? The system I was raised in and treasure as my most valuable possession after my 3DS and IPad

      • Well I have a shit load of games already and I use my N64 astonishingly often, the only games I really hope make the cut are…..

        Mario Kart
        Super Mario
        Mario Party 123
(If Micosoft allows it) Donkey Kong 64 and Diddy Kong Racing
        Super Smash Bros.
        Pokemon Stadium 12
