Shiny Tapu Koko Download Event Begins

Players in Europe and North America can now download Shiny Tapu Koko to their copies of Pokémon Sun & Pokémon Moon for the Nintendo 3DS. It has the ability Electric Surge and knows the moves Nature’s Madness, Discharge, Agility, and Electro Ball. Just select ‘Mystery Gift’ from the starting menu and ‘Get Via Internet’! It’s that easy! The event Willa only be available until August 14 however so don’t wait!

This event was available previously in Japan, but has finally made it over to the West to celebrate the release of the Shiny Tapu Koko GX TCG box.

    Exclusive to the Summer version:

    Noonnica
    Flying/Grass
    The Diurnal Wind Pokemon
    During the Day it flies through farms, observing the crops. It sleep at night, when It’s not controlling the wind. Its power comes from the happines of farmers looking at their crops.
    Signature Ability:
    Wind and Happiness
    Opponent’s Flying type attacks boost its speed, Opponent’s Grass type attacks heal it.

    Exclusive to the Winter version:

    Polnocwraith
    Flying/Dark
    The Nocturnal Wind Pokemon
    During the night it flies through forests and towns dancing and scaring people. It sleeps at day, when It’s not controlling the wind. Its power comes from the fear of the children scared of the Dark.
    Signature ability:
    Wind and Fear
    Opponent’s Flying type attacks boost its speed, Opponent’s Dark type attacks heal it.

  5. I just realized. SM are the first games to not have proper names for the opposite protagonist since RBGY….or technically FRLG I guess? Either way it’s the first time in a while they haven’t given the opposite character real names. Granted the opposite character didn’t show up in SM so why would they? lol I wonder if that’ll change in USUM. Hmmmmm lol

      • Maybe in USUM they”ll add in the other character and give them proper names? It’d make more sense that way anyway. It seems weird that they’d stop with the actual names just for this gen and then possibly continue on in future gens

Not only emotions beut a constant change in emotions to the point where your moody! Wow I just thought you were a happy guy 24/7 but now you are moody!   16. I should be done with Black sometime at the end of this week. I just need to fight the Riches, fight Bianca (gotta wait till Staurday evening, so it’ll prob be the last thing I’ll do for the game -_-), fight Cynthia, and rechallenge the E4. In the meantime for waiting for all the Riches to be beaten and for Bianca’s battle, I’ll be not only grinding for Cynthia and the E4, but also looking around the region for stuff I missed (like the Abyssal Ruins).

  22. I have brand new information regarding Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon:

    >The game takes place in Alola

    >The starters are the cat, owl and sea lion shown in the teaser

    >The cover legends are called Solgaleo and Lunala

    >There is a third legendary called Necrozma

    >The teaser shows Solgaleo and Lunala wearing Necrozma as armor

    >The rock dog shown in the teaser is a day evolution, there is also a night evolution. They are called Midday and Midnight forms respectively.

    >There are 2 pikaclones, one if the standard electric type, the other is a ghost type.

    >There are no Gyms and are replaced by something called Trials

    >HMs are removed and replaced with something called Ride Pokemon

    >There will be new variants of old Pokemon called Alola forms

  23. Interesting side points about the Pokémon Mystery Files (may be wrong because of shitty Google translate tho lol)

    – In-universe, there’s been speculation of Unown being connected to Ultra Beasts.

    – Nihilego does appear to physically attach itself to its host rather than just injecting and detaching. Interestingly enough, a visual demonstration seemingly confirms that Lusamine’s fusion with Nihilego isn’t the standard form of possession.

    – The presenters either theorise that there are more areas within Ultra Space, or if there are multiple Ultra Spaces, based on the fact that only Nihilego was seen in Ultra Space in SuMo (one I’m least confident on translated)

    – It’s hinted that Necrozma’s true identity will be revealed in Ultra Sun and Moon, although at this point its painstakingly obvious it’s a UB.
