Weakness Cup Announced for Sun & Moon

Ready for a new challenge to take on in Pokémon Sun & Moon? The Weakness Cup has been announced and requires players to create a team of Pokémon that have 5 or more weaknesses! Some of those Pokémon considered too frail for normal usage may just get their time to shine. That’s not all though–players will also earn Ampharosite, Altarianite, Latiosite, and Latiasite Mega Stones if they participate in 3 or more battles! That means Mega Ampharos, Mega Altaria, Mega Latios and Mega Latias can be yours to use in Sun & Moon! The official site shares more details about the competition:

Registration for the Weakness Cup begins Thursday, July 20, 2017, at 00:00 UTC. The competition goes from Friday, July 28, at 00:00 UTC, until Sunday, July 30, at 23:59 UTC. Trainers will be limited to 15 battles per day.

It is also worth noting that according to Serebii.Net the battles will actually be double battles, not single battles.

Be sure to hit up the link for all the rules! May the WEAKEST Pokémon… WIN!

    • You create the hard mode file as a seperate copy of your current save file and the two coexist but are split off from that moment.

  5. Can someone do me a favour? Like even if one person does it, it’d be great

Basically, can you skim through this and pick out concepts that you ‘love’ or ‘hate’? Even if it’s just a single Pokémon or a single evo line, it’d be great!

  8. So the next four anime episodes are:

    -Wishiwashi based
    -At Wela Volcano Park
    -Lurantis based
    -Olivia’s Grand Trial

Wtf? Is Ash gonna beat three totems and a grand trial in a row!?

      • There’s speeding up and then there’s rushing it, literally four big events in a row is a bit rushed especially since they’re each regular length episodes and Lana still needs her Z-Ring developed and stuff, Ash still has a team of first evos when he’s nearly a third through the game’s plot, and the characters need development and catches

        • Maybe they’ll have all those developing stuff and the trials at the same time, you can do quite a lot in 20 minutes

          • It’s Pokémon tho, and the Wishiwashi episode has build up with Ash and Lana fishing and rocket scenes whereas the Wela Volcano Park episode has a ceremony to deal with before the Totem shows up (if it does)

    • I like it but it was just supposed to be a limbless cloud with goggles…..but this is good too

And you’re damn lucky I like being called Big Guy…..

  9. New meme question thingy:

Using only Pokémon based on animals in your country (for smaller countries) or state/prefecture/etc for bigger countries (like ‘murica). You can only use ‘pet’ as justification if it’s a common pet in your area, and/or if you actually have an animal that Pokémon can represent
